This will sound like a dumb question but lol, do you ever see parents in the auditions with their  teens? ;p haha

or do they just drop them off?

i actually have (: many times. lol they sit with their child and wait until its their turn. kinda funny but its a great way for their parents to support them i guess. :)

um they wont care that you're not done...they cut about 95% + of people off. Why would they care that you, out of like what 400 ppl, aren't done? No one gets to finish what they fully prepared. It's the real world, you don't complain to them about it, you let it go, and move on.

And if you complain, they have all the more reason not to care

Don't get all bent out of shape. If it doesn't work out for me, it doesn't. People know during the auditions if they are in or not based on the judge's eyes. If you read my post correctly, if they dismiss me for my looks or whatever, I'll make sure they know what's on my mind.

Omg PLEASE don't do this. It is VERY unprofessional. This industry isn't about being fair. It's either you got it or not. That's it. There are also hundreds of other people lined up to audition as well so you're just going to use up the judge's time. They don't have to at least do anything. It's a tough business. They're the ones that are in charge and if they don't want to hear anymore then that's it. Done.

EDIT*

Oh wait.. Vancouver auditions are already done.. Oh well.

Again, don't get all bent out of shape. If I'm not even considered, that's one more person you just knocked off in competition.

Let's not get contradictory here either. If you wanna talk about not being fair, then we technically shouldn't be telling each other advices on forums about auditions. Everyone wants to get in.

Now if you all would excuse me, I will go enjoy the auditions in New York with my people next week. It will be an awesome time.

Hi everybody, if you're auditioning for vocals, do you have to dance if you're called back or asked to stay behind?

im not getting all bent up because you're choosing to voice your opinion even after they cut you before you finish, it's because you're showing how unprofessional you are

:> Woa boys, and Gals lets not get our panties in a knot . <3 IF you fail you fail, IF you pass you pass. Also the show business in general is superficial, its sad but if you aren't in the greatest shape, and is over weight they probably won't pick you. Have you guys watched, hot blooded young men? That is what you have to go through if you get in, you have to work your richard simmons off and not slack off. You can't expect for them to pick you and all your problems are solved, because they are investing in you. They are spending thousands of dollars on you, and no offence but if I had thousands of dollars to waste on someone other then myself I would find someone who is extremely Qualified for my time and effort, just putting that out there. :> Also for the audition, I got the full minute and so did three other people in my group did. I think that if you go there early you have a better chance on getting the full minute, then going later after the judges already having to go through 100's of people and are exhausted.

i'm not too sure about the first question but as for the makeup question, it's best to go all natural! ....well, maybe not ALL NATURAL maybe use a little bit of concealer and foundation? (only if you absolutely need it though) i definitely say no to smokey eye makeup and bright colored lipsticks, ok? they want you to look natural so they can think "what would she look like when we give her the k-pop star makeover"? plus, with makeup on they might think "oh she's just in here for looks! she doesn't care for talent."

Hey doesn't look like anybody saw my question. But anyways, does anyone know whether you have to prepare a dance if you are auditioning for singing? Like if you get asked to stay behind or something, would you have to dance?

I am not sure about the getting stay behind part, but you only have to prepare the one you choose. They only give you half a minute or so.

If anyone is having the error message problem, please state the exact error message. I forget what mine said before I fixed it. So if you know, then post it here and I'll try to help you out.

After I fill out the application and try to submit it, a window pops up stating "The page at audition.jype.com says: Currently stored contents?" after which I press "Okay". Immediately after another window pops up stating "The page at audition.jype.com says: Does not permit an approach" and when I click okay every window just closes. I've tried on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. =( I guess if it doesn't work I just have to stick with day-of registration.

Thanks for everyones comments! =)

All the best to you guys! I hope most of you get picked by JYP. Audition time does not matter, though.

[in 2009] They let me sing for quite a while, but I didn't get a call back. Its based on their opinions of you
