Sorry I have a feeling that BB will probably come back only next year. Rumors are like all going around and considering their Japanese album, 2NE1 Sep comeback and se7en Oct album their comeback is very dim. But then I think they should or will probably comeback this year. If they don’t come back, there won’t be any Big Show in Jan (they might not want to hold the concert without having any new song for 2 consecutive years right?). BB is always the money maker of YG and honestly all YG artists released this year did not exceed 100k album sale. They still got 2NE1 but girl groups are hard to imagine. I don’t know what YG is thinking and can’t do anything about it. But it would be nice if YG let us know BB comeback even if it is next year. Then I don’t have to keep speculating and waiting >< On a side note I srly miss the BB

I have exactly the same sentiments as you.

Firstly,SE7EN has just made his

comeback stage.After which Taeyang will be having

his new single song 'I'll be there' next week.

Following that,2NE1 girls will have their 2ne1tv season 2 +

their comeback.On top of that I heard there is a high

chance of SE7EN coming out with an album in October.

Not forgetting the BIG BANG guys will be releasing

their next japanese singles on the 25th Aug.That means they

were be rather busy promoting the song in Japan.

I wonder if there is really enough time

or rather the best appropriate time that

we will get to see BIG BANG returning to the k-pop

scene within this short second-half of the year?

Big Bang performs at Japan music festival Summer Sonic 2010 over weekend

Korean idols Big Bang performed in front of 25,000 concertgoers in Japan over the weekend, taking to the stage of the Summer Sonic Festival 2010 headlined by some of the biggest names in the music industry including Stevie Wonder and Jay-Z.

Big Bang's agency YG Entertainment announced in a press release that the boys, the first Korean dance group to take to the main stage of the festival, sang and danced on the Ocean Stage of the Maishima Summer Sonic site in Osaka on Saturday and the following day on the Marine Stage of the Chiba Marine Stadium in Tokyo.

The boys opened their performances with track "How Gee" from their first Japanese mini-album followed by their songs "Number 1," "Tell Me Goodbye," "Koe Wo Kikasete (Let Me Hear Your Voice)," "Gara Gara Go!!" and new tunes "Beautiful Hangover" and "Hands Up."

Summer Sonic 2010, a two-day music festival held simultaneously in Osaka and Tokyo, will air as a special program on NHK in Japan at a later date.

Known as one of the biggest cultural icons in Korea since making their debut in 2006, Big Bang successfully crossed over to the Japanese pop market last June.

They have released a number of Japanese singles as well winning several awards at the MTV World Stage Video Music Awards Japan in May. The group's fifth Japanese single "Beautiful Hangover" will be released in the country on August 25.

I want them back in Korea as much as the next person but money wise, there is more to be made in Japan than Korea. A LOT MORE. Japan has a much bigger population than Korea and people there still seem to buy CD's unlike in Korea. No one in Korea is selling above 100K these days unless they are one of the BIG groups. It's sad because the Korean fans are downloading the music for free and so the Korean artists need to look outside of Korea in order to make money

Anyhow I think you're right. They wont be coming back until early next year probably especially with the new Japanese album coming out. I can't wait to see how this one does on Oricon. I hope they can get that #1 spot finally.

True and they've been doing really well in Japan lately and I heard they've been offered their first Japanese cf. I think YG planned for a comeback this year but TMG did better than expected and they've been invited to all these performances that he needed to capitalize on it. Anyway, 2NE1 will sell over 100k easy cause they did that last year as rookies and they'll probably also have a concert too so money wise YG wont be in bad shape at all. He's just been releasing a lot of soloists this year versus everyone else who's been releasing groups and to be honest Gummy and Se7en were severally in need of some promotions since both been out the game for a while.

Here’s a brief description from PrincessLeBlanc:

Daesungmv@Twitter has realized that as of now Daesung is the

only member of Big Bang who does not have a solo music video.

Those of us that are a part of this little movement want to change that ASAP.

So what we all plan on doing is on August 10 7PM KST, we want to trend the topic

Unlike WG who have been actively promoting in the U.S. for over a year and even toured with the JoBros, BB hasn’t even been to the US since 2006 and that was only for a YG fam tour. So them being mentioned at all is kind of amazing.
