BIGBANG Hits the Philippines

The breakout Hip-Hop act has been quite the influence.

Over the years, Big Bang has taken all of South Korea and Japan by storm, now they have conquered the Philippines.

A girl group from the Philippines called Mel and the Chicmunx have completely fallen in love with them.

They even made a Youtube video of Big Bang's song Last Farewell!

The Global Warning is that their Electric Love is spreading through all of Asia! Check out Filipino Band Mel and the Chicmunx English cover.

Tomorrow is the premiere of HAHAMONG show right? Cant wait for the new MV + Daesung Sooyoung romance + Seungri's confession to Gain. After this I want maknae to guest on Gain Jokwon's WGM. It would be great to see a Seungri-Jokwon showdonw on TV lol

Today I went to KFC and accidentally rewatched the CF of the Big Bang look-a-like group :lol: I have watched it zillions times but still find it super hilarious :lol: VNese VIPS should have known this already :lol:

actually, i don't think hahamong show will be broadcast tomorrow but i'm not totally sure though.

i've checked bbvipz's schedule section and bigbang homepage's and the notices about hahamong show has been removed already.

they should've showed what picture they used .. maybe the picture they used has GD with a bad hairstyle coz not much ppl picked him rofl ..

but that one girl said she liked seungri's pink gloves. i think i know that picture but i can't put my pinky on it

wow so many of them chose Daesung!! i'm surprised Top is not one of the top choices haha. i wonder which picture they used. maknae got chosen quite alot too. i'm sure they will get to see this video haha.

and i'm sad that Haha Mong show got postponed again. sigh. i was looking forward to seeing this thread alive again. but its a good thing none of the boys are having their comebacks at this time, with all the music and variety shows getting postponed.

So where’s the person who recognised Seungri’s talents?

“They didn’t tell me to come or anything but I just turned up at YG to audition. I followed Director Park Dae Hong, who had been helping me in Gwangju. When I went, they videoed me singing and dancing. I thought to myself ‘Let’s really go for it this time’ and went nuts. I threw off my shirt and stuff. (laughs)”

Seungri tried his best to show his talents, and maybe this passion was able to move people’s hearts. This time, YG Entertainment’s President Yang Hyun Seok, who was watching the video live from the storey above, recognised his talents.

“President Yang is coming down.”

When he heard those words, Seungri thought his heart was going to burst. He forced himself to pretend to be calm, but it occurred to him that he couldn’t let this critical chance slip.

“I watched the video. You’re really talented. 50 points for singing and 50 for dancing. Do you know Jiyong and Youngbae? Hmm..they’re these kids who’ve been training here for about six years now, try catch up with them. Come from tomorrow on.”(President Yang Hyun Seok)

‘Woohoo! I’m finally making a start!’

The 16 year Seungri said goodbye to his family and friends in his hometown and went to Seoul.

The first person he met on his first day was Daesung (22, Real name: Kang Daesung), who was a new trainee like him, while walking down the corridor.

“Where do I have to go?” (Seungri)

“..I don’t really know either…” (Daesung)

Their first conversation was a bit awkward.

Then Top appeared with a cigarette in his mouth. He left a huge impression on Seungri. The first thing he said was really memorable too.

“Let’s order Jjajangmyeon. [black bean noodles]” (Top)

The three YG trainees, Daesung, Seungri and Top sat in the practice room and ate jjajangmyeon. After they were done, Seungri got up and cleared up his own plate first.

“Why aren’t you clearing away your hyungs’ plates first?” (Top)

So Seungri’s first day in YG started off with a slightly awkward encounter with Daesung, jjajangmyeon, and Top’s scolding.
