Big Bang wins Best Singer Award for Korea PD Awards

Big Bang was in Seoul YangCheonGoo Broadcasting association cenrtre on 6th March for the 21st Korea PD Awards. And they have won the Singer Awards.

Leader GDragon said after the ceremony, “We have been all along promoting as singers with other seniors and juniors, of all positions this is one really nervous position to be in. As a singers, we also venture out into other areas, we will continue to work hard as Big Bang no matter what we will be doing. We would like to thank the company, our families and our fans.”

Meanwhile, MBC ‘Beethoven Virus’, KBS 2TV ‘ Happy Sunday - 2 Days 1 Night’ won the drama and enteratainment programs categories.

The awards ceremony will be aired on OBS channel on 7th March at 8.15pm.

oooh and Big Bang might have worn some odd looking clothes,

but c'mon, they have stylists who decide their clothes for a certain

perf. If we actually base it on club performances, which I think they

themselves choose their clothes, it's not bad either.

in korea, it's like this. a person gets old twice.

one for their birthday and another during Lunar New Year.

so TOP, born 1987, supposedly 21 international age,

22 in Korea. since Lunar New Year had passed, he is considered

23 so when he celebrates his birthday in November, he

would be 24 XD

i don't think most of their outfits look that 'ridiculous'...

i do admit sometimes i just hate some of the outfits they had for their performances....

but it's not always bad looking to me

or maybe my views on their clothes isn't as harsh as yours

doesn't the clothes depends on their songs concept though?...

i didn't mean ridiculous in a bad way. i mean like they've been constantly wearing the same 3 or so brands for quite a while now.

if you click my sig you'll see that i actually like a lot of what they wear or at least certain items.

it just seems that the style became too popular and now its like... a lot of people doing it (the bright colors or high tops etc etc). sure, they don't do it like big bang does, but i think seeing people cleaned up all nice is good sometimes.

i guess clothing does rely on the song concept, but i mean, at least for me, it wouldn't be bad to hear some more toned down music like 'chakhan saram' either. i think that would fit well with a 'cleaned up' or whatever look.

loll some of you are too sensitive. anyways, i'm so over their look for sunsetglow, or rather taeyang's outfit. well, that's all i really remember, that damn jacket in repeat. i actually like gd's outfit for the lollipop shoot. if only they would wear sweats on stage i'm not too big on the suits look. i want them to just wear whatever, their casual outfits are always loveeee <333 why do they always have to wear the same outfits for each perf, change it up! it get's tiring. once or twice, okay. but meh, for months? ...

Well, as much as I'd like to agree fully with sheart, but isn't our boys' image ever since they debuted "the-opposite-of-cleaned-up/toned-down?" big bang is a PREPPY and LOUDLY STYLISH band... and that what makes them different from an average boy band. Yes, it would be nice to see them in a "quiet" look, but then wouldn't that be "un-BB" like??? oh well... they look GOOD IN ANYTHING anyway, so whatever goes!

i guess for me its like.. they're known for changing it up a lot and being able to do different styles both with music and style. and cleaning up (not even exactly suits, but not their usual streetwear and the like) is a look they haven't explored much yet. i don't really think 'classy' or 'cleaned up' really needs to mean 'quiet' though. you can look stylish without bright/neon colors to..

aaah Ji's hair i was ok with it once but he just had to do it again.. huff but TOP in the other hand is looking really good IMO his hair looks cool

for me they're too....well too much to watch haha..but i still love them.

But the thing with BB, they love to experiment with both their music

and style. Either way, they'll know what works for them and what doesn't.

For me, that gives them more edge and they're not afraid to go beyond their
