korean cell phones
How do I put a Korean phone on roaming so that it works in the states?

They have a service at the airports in Korea, but is there a way for me to do the same thing at home?

I'm pretty clueless about cellphones, so I don't know if I'm even able to do it at home...

i do'n think it'll work in the states unless.

its a helio phone.. or

you can go to a service place and

I'm not sure what you mean by roaming...? =___= I dont' know too much either

But most Korean phones dont' work in America because of the frequency differences

yea so if you are going to buy aphone there, make sure the frequency matches the one here..which I think was like 19000 or somthing..salesmans don't really help sicne they'd do anything to sell, which happened to my freind =T

My grandma comes twice a year and she gets her phone put on roaming so she can receive calls from Korea on her cellphone. But this year she didnt have any time.

She still keeps her phone number and stuff, but it works overseas...anyone? =x

^ yeah call up her service provider and ask them to turn on roaming for her.

there should also be an option in the cell phone to turn on roaming i think.
