haha sorry I meant that about the title. Like if it has the same name ex: GENIE, then it will be counted as one category. So even if you buy the CD + DVD version, 2CD version, 1CD version or in your case the first press limited edition, it still counts under GENIE sales.

FYI, Yesasia sales has recently started counting in the Oricon chart so if you do want a cheaper price for japanese items, you can go to Yesasia too.

Even they are rookie in Japan, they are still So Nyuh Shi Dae after all. They went to Japan with the name "The best girl group in Asia." Moreover, the Power of NINE wasn't made for no reason. I have faith in our girls and the Power of NINE. And of course, us and J-SONEs will take their backs. So I am not worried because they are our SNSD. I really don't care about the number of sales. As long as they try their best, they will break many records and be accepted by Japanese. ^^

August 09, 2010 is a happy and special day.

as rookies no one expect explosive sales on the first day and first week

but constant sales and increasing fan base as what kara did before

well snsd did better than I expect

don't worry unduly... the girls have good amount of japanese fans. 

it may not compare to Arashi but its a good base. sales can slowly climb up too.

not sure if this has been shared. i think its really cute.

the song reminds me of the manager oppa who had to mask 

his voice while talking about the girls on a variety program.

sometimes i wonder if its better for the girls to simply remain a foreign group rather than sing japanese songs... 

you know like how english groups/singers market themselves in japan.

correct me if i'm wrong but base on what i read...

the antis isn't so much against the girls but rather against the general korean music influx...

I'm happy enough the girls are no.4, on top of that they're ahead of WaT & Ai Otsuka. Good enough for me , it is their debut single after all. And it'll be impossible for them to be before the likes of Glay & Arashi (let's hope that's for now). I'm just hope the girls get enough rest, I'm sure all of SMTOWN are so tired from traveling. Specially the girls being active in so many places.

first day sales is good but expect a decline tomorrow now all SNSD need is to guest some variety show like Arashi show if they guest there a lot of people will know them just like Kara did last year when they guest on that show.

is good they are doing good in itune charts but itune is not popular in japan they got own version of itune but im still happy they are doing well.

sales are low arashi only sold 232,679 what happened to them good SNSD is #5 maybe they sold about 13/15K not a bad start i think they will sell about 35k - 40K.

It's only the first day, the first week is usually the highest in terms of sales so the next days should be good as well. It don't think it will drop too significantly too soon.

regarding snsd's rank, still waiting for oricon to update their site just to really make sure it is official. in the oricon site - for the public, daily sales figures for singles and albums are only available for those ranking first to third; however, for the registered and/or paid members, read somewhere that sales figures for the whole chart is available. maybe one of them would share the information or something, so it is possible to know snsd's first day sales figure. if not, would have to wait for the first week sales figures. anyway, it feels like getting the results of exams - feeling excited and feeling nervous at the same time.
