Regarding actress Son Ye-jin's purchase of a building worth 24.4 billion won, the agency said that it could not be confirmed.

 

On the 19th, Maeil Business News reported that Son Ye-jin bought a 24.4 billion building in Yeoksam-dong.

 

According to reports, Son Ye-jin purchased a two-story building with a basement floor in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu in August of last year in her personal name and paid the balance on the 30th of last month. The building has now been demolished for new construction. The building Son Ye-jin bought is located within a 2-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station in the super-station area.

 

About Son Ye-jin's purchase of the building, MS Team Entertainment, the agency, said in a TV report, "It's difficult to confirm because it's an actor's personal part."

 

Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin bought a building near Hapjeong Station, Mapo-gu, Seoul in 2015 for 9.35 billion won and sold it for 13.5 billion won in 2018. In 2020, she bought a building in Sinsa-dong for 16 billion won. She bought a villa in Samseong-dong for 3 billion won in 2008, and also sold a villa in Samseong-dong for 4.8 billion won last May.

 

Son Ye-jin's husband Hyun Bin bought a multi-family house in Cheongdam-dong for 4.8 billion won in 2013 and built a new commercial building. It is known that the current market price is over 10 billion won. She also sold a luxury villa in Heukseok-dong, which she bought in 2009, for 4 billion won in 2021, and owns a penthouse villa worth about 4.8 billion won in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Actress Son Ye-jin (real name Son Eon-jin , 41 ) bought  a building in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 24.4 billion won. 

According to the real estate industry on the 19th , Son bought a building with one basement and two floors above ground in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on August 31 last year and paid the balance on the 30th of last month. 

The building is located within a 2-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station on the Shinbundang Line and Line 9, in the 'super-station area'. The size is 278 ㎡ of land and 242.08 ㎡ of total floor area. It is currently demolished for new construction.  

In addition to this building, Son is said to have purchased buildings in core commercial districts in Seoul, such as Sinsa and Samseong-dong in Gangnam-gu and Hapjeong-dong in Mapo-gu.

According to a media report, Son Ye-jin purchased a building with one basement and two floors above ground (land 278㎡, total floor area 242.08㎡) in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in August of last year in her name and paid the balance on the 30th of last month.

The building is located in the super-station area of Sinnonhyeon Station (Line 9) and is located at the top of the food alley. According to the real estate industry, it is estimated that about 15 billion won was borrowed for the purchase, considering that the building's underlying mortgage was set at 18 billion won.

In 2015, a small building located in Hapjeong, Mapo was purchased for 9.3 billion won, and sold for 13.5 billion won three years later. I saw a total of 42 billion won, and in 2020, I bought a building in sinsa-Dong for 16 billion won.

 

 

At the beginning of this year, the building in Samseong-dong, which was purchased for 3 billion won in 2008, was sold for 4.8 billion won, leaving a market profit of about 1.8 billion won.
 

Real estate experts' opinions

On the other hand, real estate experts also highly evaluated Son Ye-jin's investment eye. That he predicted a change in the plot line at the time and bought an unstable little building that was undervalued.

But lately, Korean storytellers have been crafting a wider variety of romantic dramas that diverge from the typical shows that K-drama aficionados are used to, with steamier rom-coms, unconventional love stories, and workplace and slice-of-life tales, as well as realistic portrayals of modern dating — especially later in life.

 

Thirty-Nine

 

 

Thirty-Nine is a heartfelt romantic drama that follows the lives of three 39-year-old best friends, Cha Mi-jo, Jeong Chan-young and Jang Joo-hee, as they try to navigate work, love and loss. Mi-jo (played by the acclaimed Crash Landing on You star Son Ye-jin) is a smart career woman who was adopted by a caring, wealthy family and now runs her own dermatology clinic. Serendipitous events start bringing her and fellow dermatologist Kim Seon-u (Yeon Woo-jin) closer together. Chan-young (played by the charismatic Jeon Mi-do of Hospital Playlist), an acting coach who once dreamed of becoming an actress, cannot get over her ex-boyfriend Kim Jin-seok (Lee Mu-saeng from The Silent Sea), who is now a married man. Thirty-Nine takes a realistic — if at times painful — look at life, love and friendship for those who are approaching middle age. It beautifully illustrates how wonderful life can be, despite its ups and downs, if you have true friends who are willing to do anything for you.

But things start to look up when she bumps into her best friend’s younger brother Seo Jun-hui (played by the charming Jung Hae-in), who’s just returned from a three-year stint abroad.
