Looking for a good dermatologist...

I have some body scars (which I'm pretty sure are removable from what I've read from others on forums) from acne that I want to get rid of through either cortisone shots or surgery or whatever and have no idea where to start looking for a good dermatologist. I went to one in LA recently but he was no good and said I'll have the scars forever and there's nothing I can do about it. Anyways, I'm looking for another dermatologist (doesn't have to be Korean) around my area which is Northridge or "The Valley" (about 20 min from LA) to be exact. Any help would be appreciated.
