"Race Wish" by HIZAKI grace project blew me away. That song needed no vocals. "kizu - Acoustic Version" by ALSDEAD was really good, but that song has vocals. Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- and the GazettE have amazing guitarists, along with DELUHI.

Eason Chan's 綿綿 immediately came to mind. I love the intro.

and Romance d'Amour. not sure if it would take my breath away in a good way though. i think i would start crying.

Not soley instrumental songs ('cept for the third one), but amazingly beautiful guitarwork nonetheless:

Wintersun - Death and Healing

Wintersun - Battle Against Time (Solo at 4:16 is to die for <3 )

Nightrage - A New Disease is Born (About the only song I liked off this album. Their older stuff was better, but this is a nice instrumental)

Opeth - Harvest

Opeth - The Drapery Falls

Opeth - Patterns in the Ivy II

lol I could probably put down Opeth's entire Blackwater Park album...but I'm lazy.

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven

The Maccabees -Toothpaste Kisses (:

So true! The very fact that he wrote it for his deceased son and how he felt distraught makes the song so personal and emotional!

Van Morrison - Madame George.

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah.
