I would like to add my thoughts on Yonghwa not being nominated in the MBC variety rookie award (or something)

its a shame that he was not included. I'm not trying to defend MBC or something, but this is what I have been thinking regarding the matter.

the category is "variety rookie", and I think this category is very vague. as far as "rookies" go, all of them would not be qualified because they have been a part of other variety shows (eg. Seohyun in Hello Baby).

but I think this is the first time for all of them to be participate individually in a variety show, except for JoKwon, who was part of Family Outing Season 2 (FO2) so they are treated as variety rookies. WGM2 has been running with Kwon since 2009, and is still going. FO2 has been cancelled already, so Kwon is relatively a rookie.

whereas Yonghwa was part of other variety shows like Hunters (I think), Ecohouse and the latest, Night After Night. so technically, Yonghwa has already 4 variety shows (this includes WGM) under his belt without his other group members and was not included as a nominee could be because he is not a rookie anymore, compared to the other nominees which has at most 2 variety shows (Kwon).

As i read your spoiler i was also searching for the Philippines and since i did not find it i was well as you have said dissappointed... And i read your remark at the bottom i was oh we have the same thought...im a Filipino but base in saudi so not counted for the Philippines. Or maybe they are still unaware of it?

is 23 hours after yongseo uploaded their banmal song but......what amazed me is the total views were 420, 149

This is a random post but I read a lot of you talking about the little blue elephant ^^. And IDKW but I swear that I saw it the day YongHwa brings the elephant family home (ep when SeoHyun scared him keke).

Well I also remember the pink elephant that he said that was for Hyun, and I´m so glad that this cutie pink is not in the video because that means that Hyun is keeping it with her in her dorm... awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, so couple~ish .

thank you all gogumas for the links, translations, news and everything! I´m so proud of them, it is amazing how this two young people can touch our hearts in such a way... they are really special to us and they have something really special between them .

Let´s keep watching the video, let´s take them to our Go-chun!!!!

@magdal. yes, the blue elephant was brought home the same day as their other babies by their appa yong except the baby blue elephant doesn't stay in the couch...it stays with the avatar one above the fridge kekekek

and yes, the pink one actually disappeared right after that coming home from thailand episode <3 if we could only see a clearer picture of seobaby's room in that pj picture they showed last epi, we would have probably seen it somewhere on her bed

hearbreak: 'Rookie' is not based on how many variety shows they've been in, is based on the time since their debut, in this case since their debut as a member of a variety show. As you mentioned, he has being part of many variety shows... that's why most of us are surprised that he wasn't nominated.

Like most of Gogumas I am also sad that he wasn't nominated. But we can't do anything about it... as ninyaah said let's just stop stressing over it

I can't stop watching their 'Banmal' video. It makes me happy to see all the support uri YongSeo is getting. They are so awesome ♥

I dont know how about you guys but i just singing along without notice the song just because i listen to it whole day. i wish they will record with piano and guitar. somehow from the video, the guitar is so near with the microfoon, that i couldnt listen to Seohyun very well. but they have very sweet voice. i really want to do a repetition to SM, FCN and MBC to do the record and we can buy the CD of our angels.

the love of our couple is so powerful. i think we can reach to 500,000 soon. unbeleivable. and i am so happy that people some new people see this video and ask about our couple. we will have soon new Yongseo's lover. spread the love everywhere

No wonder this thread jumped pages and pages - there's a good reason of course!

A few things I've noticed while watching the video was that Seohyun switched the lyrics for her part at the end of the first verse (either on purpose or by accident lol) and most importantly that she spoke banmal at the end of the video. She said 'I understand,' and maybe I'm a bit slow on this but I don't understand their conversations sometimes. Like in the latest episode they were babbling about a couple's story (??) and now suddenly 'I understand,' and his reply 'Me too'.

...Which could be a good thing of course, something only between the two of them. Heh.

And the 'saranghae' part... seems like Yonghwa was more shy to look her in the eyes than Seohyun is.

I need to check back all the pages to find the chords for this song! My love for playing the guitar has revived people~

Hello my Goguma children! I have been enjoying their UCC video on YouTube and have commented on their video.

I suggested that SM Entertainment and/or FNC Music record this as a Digital Single (with the full Love Light Duet) and have ALL SALES DONATED TO THEIR FAVORITE CHARITY. This gives all their fans and followers the opportunity to enjoy their music and at the same time be able to help for a good cause. We all know that this couple have a big heart and we appreciate their great accomplishments. What better way, other than what we have already done, than to buy their record (as many as we can) with the mindset that sales will be donated to charity. I think that would be great, and at the same time, possibility of performing the song in music shows (and possibly winng the K-charts with our help) - oh what fun!!!

I am trying to be as active as it's possible on the Yongseo's Youtube Banmal Song page:)!!! And because everyone's so warm and nice and even invite me to sign up here, I thought it's a great idea:)

I'm a fan from Poland, I love Yonghwa and Seohyun (CN Blue and SNSD Fighting!) and keep talking about them to all of my friend, who don't know too much about We Got Married;P

I watched 1st seaon of WGM, but Yongseo Couple stole my heart <3

I think Facebook is an awesome medium to spread the Goguma love!

If all of us post the link on our facebook walls, then our friends who have never heard of Yongseo or WGM or anything korean media related might be interested after watching!! Also its an awesome way to up the view count!! I don't know about you guys, but almost none of my friends know about Yongseo !! Isn't that crazy.... I'm so glad I found all you crazy people to join me in this crazy world (forum). Anyway lets all put it on facebook! Twitter too if you have it ! ^^

On a side note, I'm a little peeved at those people 'Liking' those Youtube comments that bashes the anti-fans for disliking the video, cos obviously the more LIKES it has the more attention it garners and Yong Seo is gonna notice !!! The fact that have 130++ dislikes.

So the best way is to ignore those dislikes and rude comments, and just flood the youtube page with words of LOVE !!! and Like those comments that talk about their great music !!

I know that we shouldn't post too often about the views, but we just made it! More than 500,000 views!

I think it's sooo great!

I'm sooo happy, because Yonghwa and Seohyun can finally see how many people all around the world LOVE them and SUPPORT them:)

I think it's going to be pretty interesting to see the BTS of them making the video!

They've made it all by themselves, sooo... I want to see how they prepare it, Seohyun even sang the word: "Saranghae!"

I want to watch more of it!

Please stop spamming the thread with Youtube video view counts.

hey guys I know we're all excited about the YongSeo Youtube MV but the mods have already warned us twice on the same day to stop commenting on the view counts because it's considered spam.

So lets maintain our wonderful Gochun and follow the rules

anyhow for something related to YongSeo fangirling....

I have been updating with random fanarts & pics but I haven't had a chance to contribute any meaningful discussion about some new events that have unfurled recently

1) about Yonghwa lack of nomination of Variety-Rookie Award for MBC Ent Awards...

I am so disappointed with MBC for disregarding Yonghwa. Reading some posts from jyh/dcgallery, Boices are disappointed as well that he was slighted for this award. Some give the reasoning that MBC is still angry w/ Yong for choosing to MC Inkigayo over Music Core as well as Yong's really good relationship with SBS. I can see the reasoning for this and if I were to agree with it I have even less respect for MBC Ent. Awards. However, as a Boice (and I do consider myself a Boice!) Yong's activities on WGM have been more beneficial to him than any other variety activity he's done. Because of WGM, Yong has been able to reveal more of his personality and do it without reciting lines from an MC script. For MBC-Yonghwa relationship, Yonghwa has been the beneficiary. I also understand that in Korea, JoKhun have way more popularity and recognition than Yonghwa does mainly because these two guys debuted in music earlier than Yonghwa. Even though we international fans consider Yonghwa to be the best WGM husband, it is important to also remember that Yonghwa only debuted 1 year ago and the general public in Korea are still getting to know (and love) him! Maybe not this year but hopefully next year MBC will recognize Yonghwa's presence on variety tv programs. I also hope that Yonghwa diversifies his relationship with the three main broadcast channels because I know that it's not the safest situation to be in if most of your variety & dramas are with just one broadcast station (*ahem* SBS). I hope his management can even the playing field for Yong because currently it seems like he's mainly in SBS shows & his MBC stint with WGM is secondary (which it is obviously NOT!).

2) about SeoHyun's Nomination for Variety-Rookie Award...

WOOHOOO!!! SNSD's Maknae is indeed popular. I am very glad that she is nominated and I hope that wins this award! Out of all the other nominees she is the most popular and (I think) well received because of her personality and lovable charms. She deserves this nomination & (hopefully) this award!

3) about the MV

OMG THIS IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER! I woke up and on my twitter stream there were so many mentions of Yongseo's vid on youtube and when I clicked this link my first thought was "No way...........is this real?!..........this is real right?!!.....(and then realization hitting as they introduce themselves) OMFG!! THIS IS AMAZING! SPAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"

Yep, that's what went on in my head and then I did a little happy dance in my room...

I am so happy that they were able to do this because it gives them a chance to see just how much international (as well as Korean) fans love this couple. I am pretty sure they will not be expecting a very big response and when they see just how much love and support has been given, I hope they realize that they don't have to worry about anti-fans or anything negative about their relationship. Because according to youtube more than half a million people have watched their expression of honesty & love. I love the WGM PD's for giving the fans a chance to show their support as well. Unlike domestic fans, international fans cannot show their love by boosting TV ratings or cheering them on physically at their concerts & events. With this mission, we have been able to prominently display our love and affection for Yongseo couple. For sure this is the BEST WGM MISSION because it kills 2 birds with 1 stone (YongSeo show their affections for each other & Fans show their affection for YongSeo)

I love that most of the comments on the MV are telling Yonghwa to just marry Hyun or for them to just date in real life...unlike most fandoms YongSeo fans don't want Yong or Hyun for themselves, rather they just want them to be with the people that make them the happiest. (really this is the best wish for Goguma Villagers)

I can't remember seeing such a pure LOVE-site in a long time.

I've been randomly visited older posts in this SeoHwa thread the last couple of hours, drawn here by some warm "spazzing" as you call it on the YOUTUBE account for this lovely singing couple.

I have to say it: Some of you have dedicated your life to this young couple, and you do it sooo lovingly and at the same time so insightful and analytical.

I'm european and knew about Girls Generation and their kind of Las vegas stage dancing, performing catchy songs whereof many of them seems to be written of northern europeans.

And to suddenly discover this wonderful slim Seohyun with an aura of purity and shyness. And THEN this YongHwa!!! Handsome and full of charisma. It's all a blessing.

Whenever i need an injection of the thought of love, I just can visit this Soompi-thread.

THANK YOU ALL! Who've made this thread possible. Keep it up, and never let the negativity fill your hearts!

Thank you everyone for posting the links for the official Banmal song and the re-ups [i've followed you guys to dislike and report those vids from yesterday ]. I really hope the view will reach 1mil soon because the vid is just lovely and the song turns out to be very cute and catchy.

As for the Rookie award, after knowing the nominee list, I decided not to follow this award anymore [except for Seohyun's nomination, i'll be one of the happiest girl in the world if she wins]. I hope the reason YH is missing is not because MBC is angry that he's closer to SBS and that he doesn't have a big company to back him up like Jokwon. I keep telling myself to believe it might be the rookie status doesn't apply to him, but in all honesty, I don't think it's the reason. I don't have many evidences to back up my point. Now I only can remember that Park Shin Hye won the best newcomer for her role in YAB last year while she wasn't rookie at all at that time => not a close example I know but hope you can see the similarities of the 2 cases. And the rest have been on variety shows many times, still can't get why YH is the only one out.

Anyway, I don't have respect for this so-called prestigious award and this company. YH is the winner for me and I believe he won't mind if he doesn't get this one as long as the Korean and international audiences get to know more about him, love and appreciate his work on WGM.

Sorry for the long post and repeating this topic but I just felt like I wanna say sth about it

Actually in the beginning he was really really comitted to MBC: he was part of 'Eco House', then 'Hunters' and he appeared a couple of times as MC on Music Core (MBC), also he was (and still is) on WGM which is from MBC There were lots of rumours that he was going to become one of Music Core MCs, but he became Inki MC (SBS) xD Some Boices said that was a smart decision because he was way too involved with MBC so, as you said, "his management should even the playing field for Yong", but then he became way too involved with SBS: Running Man, Inki, Night After Night. I am one of those Boices that think MBC is still bitter :3
