On February 20, a post titled, “The Secret to Do Min Joon’s Pajamas” began circulating on various online communities. Do Min Joon is an alien that came to earth 400 years ago played by Kim Soo Hyun in the SBS drama, “Man from the Stars.”

According to the post, on episode 18 of “Man from the Stars,” the pajamas Kim Soo Hyun wore is very similar to the pajamas E.T. wore in the 1982 film of the same name. The blue checkered pattern on both characters looks almost identical. After seeing the post, many netizens commented, “It’s a hot item between aliens no matter what time period or location.”

On the episode of “Man from the Stars,” which aired on February 19, Chun Song Yi’s (Jun Ji Hyun) younger brother (Ahn Jae Hyun) asks Do Min Joon for an “E.T. finger touch.” It has been suggested the production staff of the drama intended the two characters’ clothes match.

Kim Soo Hyun’s fan meeting venue has been changed.

Kim Soo Hyun will start his fan meeting in Seoul on March 16 – the first out of the 9 cities in the 7 countries he is scheduled to visit for a fan meeting. His agency, Keyeast, confirmed to change the venue for his fan meeting in Seoul in Yonsei University Hall to Sejong University Concert Hall.

More fans would want to participate in the upcoming fan meeting event in Seoul and have been requesting to change the venue to a bigger one. Then so, Keyeast Agency decided to change the venue of a hall with the capacity of 900 people to a bigger hall with 2,029 seats where more fans could take part in.

Kim Soo Hyun’s popularity has gone much higher since he starred in the high-rating SBS drama You Who Came from the Stars. He has been busy filming for the last 2 episodes of the drama You Who Came from the Stars and at the same time, preparing for the upcoming fan meeting event in Seoul on March 16.

Kim Soo Hyun politely refused with various program offers and sponsorship in order to dedicatedly focus with the fan meeting even his agency has planned.

Tickets have been already sold out in Taiwan and Thailand just before the selling of tickets started in Seoul. Within just 30 minutes since the selling of tickets had opened, over 4,000 copies of tickets were already sold. A pre-sale date occurred on Feb. 22 which fans needed to personally buy their tickets at KCC. According to a Thai fan, fans have (literally) camped outside the building 4 days before the pre-sale. 'You Who Came From the Stars' is the new fan favorite among Korean TV shows!

According to a Korea Gallup monthly poll titled, "TV programs that Koreans love," which surveyed 1218 people of ages 19 and above, SBS' 'You Who Came From the Stars' took the crown at #1 with 11.5% of the votes.

MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' broke its 11-month reign at first place and came in second place with a strong 10.3%. KBS 2TV weekend drama 'The Wang Family' ('King's Family') took the third spot with its popularity among the elderly and housewives.

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has reportedly been overworking, ever since he joined management agency Keyeast Entertainment, which is established by Winter Sonata star Bae Yong Joon, in 2010.

Under Keyeast, the You Who Came From The Stars actor shot to fame following the success of dramas Dream High and The Moon Who Embraces The Sun, and Korean film Secretly, Greatly.

Thanks to Soo Hyun’s immense popularity, the company’s share price rose sharply as the actor beat A-listers such as Cha Seung-won to the top honours at awards ceremonies, and landed numerous endorsement deals within a year.

However, the heavy work load has also triggered health issues for the 26-year-old actor, who has a history of heart problems. Two years ago, Soo Hyun was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack due to the long filming hours.

While speaking to the media after he was discharged from the hospital, Soo Hyun disclosed that he originally had to undergo an open heart surgery, but went through a minor procedure instead. “I am very healthy now,” he assured.

Reports also claimed that Soo Hyun has shown symptoms of irregular heartbeat since young and that he had a heart operation when he was in high school. The actor also reportedly takes medicine with him to work every day, in case of emergencies.

After receiving the offer, Hong Jin Kyung wondered if she could do a good job.
