I met Kim Soo-hyun, who has been raising a loud comeback after a film criticism of the movie "Real". In what way did you choose the movie and what would you like to do now?

Q.I have already got more than answer during the Press Conference, but in a preview for the media i want to keep asking this question, What is the real reasons for selecting this movie?

A. I chose a piece of art that I wanted to digest directly the charm and appeal of the character. In the case of My Love from.the Star, if you challenged with the elements of alien, 400 years ago, professor, the challenge items were different. It does not really choose any genre. The genre is the same regardless of the choice.

Q. What was the process of digesting and making the chosen character after greed?

A. In short, it was physically very difficult. Other works have a lot of troubles with only one character, but this movie has several characters that I have to postpone. I was greedy because I could play many characters in one movie, but the time and effort was also several times more than I thought about the charm of various characters and the color of each character. I spent quite a lot of energy in the process of making the characters.

The first character that I made was the so-called Jang Tae-young. As a person who always speaks down and orders, I have been instructed and instructed by my senior. (Laughter) I am a person who is derived from the body, but he is always full of energy, so he always chews gum or chews meat and consumes energy.

The next thing that I made was Repo writer Jang Tae-young, who was a great work-addict. He is usually a passive person but is a person who sparkles his eyes only at work.

The bandage man is the body of the bugger, and the preference of this body was the setting which is narcissism and the line is a fine person. The goal of this compromised audio was to make the listener uncomfortable. So I stretched out the words and made gestures uncomfortable. Q. I have had a lot of footage, and most of the scenes seemed to have taken a lot of hard work. What is the most personally prepared and memorable scene?

A. The most memorable scene is the most energetic scene, and the bathroom scene is the scene where the most personal opinion is reflected. The scene was the moment when two Jang Tae Young broke the belief that he was real. I spent the most energy in the scene. No matter what Jang Tae-young, Kim Soo-hyun's face would look exactly the same, but he should have expressed another person with a facial expression or a gesture. There was a mirror in front of it because the scene was complicated again. I was careful to show that there were two Jang Tae-young through the mirror. I tried to express my feelings of breaking the faith by various facial expressions and empty laughs.

Another scene is the scene where Jang Tae - young drives his car to the casino after the death of Song Yoo Hwa in the latter half. It was the scene where the emotion came out all over the movie.

Q. Is there a scene in which you think Kim Soo-hyun is seen as the most sexy?

A. (embarrassment, bouquet, pause) The first appearance was the most sexy.

Q. I do not think there were any scenes that were easy to shoot. It might be hard to tell. But what was really hard when shooting this movie?

A. The most difficult thing was to overcome the scary script. And then, overcoming the hard scenes. I tried hard not to be eaten by the scene. Of course, the exposure scene was also a burden. However, even if it becomes burdensome, frightening, and mentally and physically difficult, the correct answer has been fixed, so I have overcome it. I already had the script. I just wanted to find a way to express it.

It was fortunate to have taken two different characters one by one in a day. On the day of shooting, energy was exhausted twice. Both characters are exchanging dialogue with each other. Although I am postponed, the bandage Jang Tae - young 's ambassador length and the suot Jang Tae - young' s ambassador length are different.

Q. Have you shot most of the scenes yourself?

A. Jang Tae-young, who wore a bandage, Jang Tae-young in a suit and Jang Tae-young, However, the choreography of the latter part of the film was shot with a professional. I thought that the scene was choreographed rather than squeezing. My body was not so soft and I had no choice but to get help.

Q. I have a movie running time of 135 minutes and some deleted scenes. The shooting period seems to be long.

A. It took 6 months to shoot, but it seems to take about a year and half to experience it. (Laughter) Of course, I spent the first year or so in the movie if I was new to the scenario and spent my study time. I started boxing practice for the action scene three months before the cranking, and it took me over a month to master the choreography.

Q. Do you have memorable episodes for a long time?

A. The set, I had to take a lot of fat as I traveled arm for the place hunting. There was a theme by region. Busan is action, Daejeon is underwater, Youngjongdo is casino ... It reminds me of having a theme in this way and cheering on the car with the staff.

Kim Soo-hyun insists ‘Real’ is not just about sex : But he admits concerns about his abs during filming of racy scenes

 

 

Actor Kim Soo-hyun is widely known as a hit maker in the entertainment industry for his roles in massively successful TV dramas like “My Love from the Star” in 2013 and “The Producers” in 2015. However, it seems he has missed the mark with his most recent movie “Real.” The movie has buzz - but not for his acting. People have been talking about Kim’s sex scenes with co-star Sulli, a former member of SM Entertainment girl group f(x).

The film is Kim’s first role in an R-rated movie. He was drawn to the role for the opportunity to embody a number of emotions, as his character is a man suffering from schizophrenia. Although many say they want to go to the theater just to see the movie’s more racy scenes, Kim said that the audience will discover that there is more to the film when they head to theaters, in an interview with Ilgan Sports. The following are excerpts from the interview held after the media screening of the movie before its release a week ago.



Q. What made you do this movie?

A. The fact that I play two roles was interesting. I thought I would be so happy to see all the expressions I do all together later on. What I wanted was to bring out everything I have felt, studied, and done in the movie. I think this movie could be that one.



You said during the media screening that the script of this movie was the scariest of all. What does that mean?

The movie really gave me lots of homework to do. So I was scared. I was also burdened with [sexual] scenes. There were many things I had a hard time approaching, such as the characters and the story, so that’s why I said it that way.



What was it like to film the sex scenes with Sulli?

I met her for the first time while making this movie. I didn’t know what kind of voice she has or how she acts. Then I met her and she is very passionate. She was easy to talk to and work with as she is a type of person who asks things that she’s curious about on the spot. To film the most intimidating scene, we both put a lot of effort into controlling what we eat. When the day of filming came, we both were putting lots of energy onto our abdominal muscles [to look better] so we couldn’t breathe well or read the lines loudly.



Did you have hard time understanding the movie while filming?

I was a bit confused as I was analyzing the character, but that was resolved as I was filming. The “Real” is like a puzzle intertwined. When you find the first and the last piece of the puzzle, the whole story pans out.



What do you think about the negative reviews of the movie?

After the screening event, I have looked for many reviews. I think the movie is in the process of getting to people. I think the real door to the movie has not yet opened. Many things still have not been discovered, and many more that were hidden will come out as time goes by. At first the real charm of the movie doesn’t show because it is behind all the scenes that are [for adults], but after those scenes lose their power, the other charms will rise.



Your movies and dramas have been hits in the past and you became a top celebrity. Has anything changed?

I didn’t really feel that [others] were trying to do things to comfort me and [change things to my liking]. But then at one moment, I realized that I was such a princess. That was so shocking. I was someone who couldn’t do anything on my own, not a thing. I wanted to get out of that stage and evolve. I’m getting out of there now.

Film company requests police probe into ‘Real’ leak

 

The production company of the new Korean action thriller “Real” said Friday it has asked the police to investigate the leak of part of the film’s scenes.

Cove Pictures said the previous day that part of the scenes featuring its lead actor Kim Soo-hyun and actress Choi Jin-ri were illegally filmed at a theater and leaked online, just one day after it was released in domestic theaters Wednesday.

“We made a final decision to take legal measures against the leak by asking the cyber investigation unit of a local police station,” the studio said in a release on Friday. “We issued a statement asking for cooperation to prevent no further leaks, but we could no longer sit idle as the illegally leaked video clip spread quickly not just in Korea but out of the country.”

It said the decision was made to raise awareness about the havoc of copyright infringement and prevent no further damage and any recurrence of similar incidents.

The film about a conspiracy surrounding Asia’s biggest casino has drawn anticipation for being Kim’s comeback to the big screen four years after “Secretly Greatly.”

In the action noir directed by Lee Sa-rang, the star of the mega-hit Korean TV series “My Love from the Star” plays two different roles both named Jang Tae-young - one a vicious crime syndicate boss and the other a mysterious investor who looks just like the boss.

Choi, better known as former member of K-pop group f(X) Sulli, takes on the role of the crime organization boss Jang’s rehabilitation therapist and lover Song Yoo-hwa.

The film was partly invested in by Alibaba Pictures, the film division of Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group.’
