Time flies and we  are at the 8th Episode of our imaginary drama "Bowling Prince". Emphasis is on the afternoon of 29th October 2016, 2nd half of the 1st day of second round of tournament.

Soo Hyun did not perform well for the entire day of 29th October 2016. Inspite of the below average performance, love and praises poured in from every where (refer to the comments below).

1. Maybe we should begin the episode with Soo Hyun trying to locate the centre of the 2nd tournament. Below is also an article on the coffee shop near to the tournament centre probably visited by Soo Hyun before the actual day.

2. In this episode, besides the disappointing scores, emphasis should be on the fans biting off all their finger nails and their screamings.  During the 4 hours of the afternoon, not difficult to imagine the anxieties, the disappointments and the worries of all fans both young or old, international or local. It should be amusing to hear and to shoot how they tried their best to pray for Soo Hyun to survive the tournament.

3.There should also be some interviews on Soo Hyun himself.

a. Why did he choose bowlings when he is  "left handed"

b. Why did he persisted in completing the game when he already hurt his hand badly.

c. why did he take the tournament so seriously.

4.There should also be interviews of bowling experts on the difficulties contestants faced especially during the 2nd round.

5. There should be a talk by some of the veterans of the entertainment circle on Soo Hyun's normal good behavior  and his impeccable manners during the tournament inspite of the stress, the exhaustion and anxiety.

161029  Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Hong participated in the '2016 22 man group qualification tournament pro baller' second leg match, took place in a bowling alley in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province from 8:00 AM 29th. 15G Kim Soo-hyun finished the day with the results of the 35th of  47 people, score 2746 points. Avarage score 183.1 points. Lee Hong will score 2595 points to an average of 173.0 points while only 45 people over 47.

The day the two men proceeded to 15 second leg game in the first game. Tomorrow (30 days) was only a passing progression, the average score of 200 points (total score 6000 points) a total of 30 games are to be admitted to tertiary education. Well, as long as he is not being kidnapped. We do suspect that it may have something to do with Alibaba. The usual lovable Soo Hyun who does not want to inconvenience his fans and prefer to work quietly. We do see others announcing their schedules well ahead of events to fans. Anyway, fans should be able to find out his whereabouts and we will know something hopefully by tomorrow. It is definitely a long wait to December 15 though we cant bang our heads against the wall in protest.

BTW: So grateful that his endorsements/contracts are not effected and he is still in such great demand in China.

We are still wondering where is Soo Hyun. There is the possibility that he is staying back in China for some CFs. We are very new to this thread and so need to look back more than 100 over pages in this thread to search for all the endorsements Soo Hyun has in China. (It took us about 3 hours). We are still doubtful that we have covered all the CFs of Soo Hyun in China but at least the majority of them. Anymore?

Haha Hwonhwon, we must read at least another 300 pages before we can cover all these endorsements. Now we understand why you and Rossy are so worried that the THAAD may affect Soo Hyun. With all these endorsements, how can another actor claimed that he makes more money from endorsements from China than Soo Hyun just a  few months back?

Instead of waiting indefinitely for our Soo Hyun to appear again, we decided to carry on with episodes 9 & 10 of the imaginary drama "Bowling Prince" These 2 episodes will cover the entire 30th October 2016 (both morning and afternoon session of the second round of tournament).

30th October 2016 was the "hearing day" of whether the Bowling Prince can made it to be  a Professional Bowler. Unfortunately he did not made it. We dont described it as a day of chaos but definitely not a peaceful one.

1. The news publishers from all over China and South Korea and other countries were scrambling for the most updated scores of Soo Hyun, the bowling prince. Because it involved figures, there should be miscommunications and arguments and confusions over the telephones or other means of communications. Should be interesting to show how the reporters and editors work with each other for such matters.

2. In between the calcution of the bowling scores in the bowling centre, Some filming of the news of the Bowling Prince voted as No 4 in Movie Actors brand reputation from 67 millions of datas (please see below)

3. Back to the filming of the totally mentally exhausted  fans of the Bowling Prince and even those who did not know him before his participation of the game.

4. Back to some flashbacks of Soo Hyun's training during the 1 week break before the 2nd round of tournament.

5. Again, some time should be given to reporting of the news of Soo Hyun voted as No 1 with "crazy hobby". Not surprising that the vote was conducted because of the Bowling Prince. Whether they be Soo Hyun's fans, people not interested in kdramas or movies, Bowlings enthusiasts, Sportsmen or even non fans of Soo Hyun knew of his participation of the tournament. Many could not believe that Soo Hyun, who was concentrating on his role as Jang Tae Young in REAL was up to the standard as to participate in tournaments and in fact did very well though not being able to be qualifed as a Professional. (read some of the comments below)

6. Back to the filming of the  scorings of the Bowling Prince in the Bowling centre.

7. Again some filming of the news of the votings of the Bowling Prince voted as the No. 1 actor for comedy rom com. (please see below)

8. Finally, the next day ie 31st October 2016, should film some interview of people on the street in South Korea and even Beijing and Shanghai on their views of the  unsuccessful attempt of the Bowling Prince

9. Finally 2, the filming of the interview again with the directors of the Bowling Association and probably some bowling experts on the attitude and  significance of the challenge of the Bowling Prince.

10.Finally 3, must film  interviews of all the successful participants of the tournment   on their impression of the Bowling Prince for the 4 days together.

Pro Bowler challenge of "Korean wave" star Kim Soo-hyun (28) ended with the half success. Kim Soo-hyun has played 30 games in the 2016 Korea-based pro baller secondary qualification tournament held in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Yongin 29 and 30 with averaged 192.3 points (5769 points total). He had to follow a formal professional qualification bowler stopped in the second qualification tournament regulations, must exceed average of 200 points (6000 points total) in 30 games. FT Island's Lee Hong Ki (26) also did not pass the qualification tournament recorded an average 177.2 points.

The expectation was high for Pro Bowler Kim Soo Hyun rather than 'Actor Kim Soo Hyun'. Start preparing for a professional challenge in earnest since last April, in first selection he had stable pitching moves and swings in the game surprised bolling world. In the second day at the time of the 11th game, hit a succession of nine strikes which is hard even for a professional athletes. And he has over 30 games with average 214.6 points.

Kim Soo-hyun even has trained an average of 4-5 hours each day at bowling alley ahead of the second qualification tournament. In practice, however, they did not fully demonstrate their skills. Each Bowling  has different oil patterns on the lane.

Korea Professional Bowling Association director in charge of qualification tournament game chairperson said, " it was more difficult to adjust the lane condition than in the first qualification, in order to increase the discrimination by pulling the actual professional bowler." Kim Soo-hyun is the second qualification tournament the first day of the game did not get a good score.

Pro Bowler Park Kyung Shin (39) who helped Kim Soo-hyun to train was disappointed and said "i expect good grades, his psychological burden was greater." Second day averaged is 201.5 points in 15 games, but finally failed to entered the 200 point average.

Looking at the breakdown of the points, Soo Hyun did very well, had he not slip behind a bit on the 29th, he would have passed the second round.  Passing or not, fans all over are extremely proud of him for his perseverance and showing great sportsmanship throughout the competition.
