Oh, that rumor.  The netizen who started the rumor later admitted it was a prank and made up.  He/she really doesn't know KSH to make up that rumor.  The paps have been following him for years, would he openly go on a date at a restaurant full of people in broad daylight?  He is even discreet taking pictures with his female costars at public events.  He really gives fans and journalists no chance to make speculations.

 

I also don't think all cameos are connected to him.  The only ones I know are Suzy and IU.  The production wanted Suzy to cameo in MLFTS and they know SH is friends with her so they asked him to ask her.  In Real, SH said he personally asked IU and Suzy to cameo.

I saw some top notch celebrities invited. Ceo Phillip is very considerate to us, just when we are felling deprived, he posted a new video of him..it's like getting water in draught season..ol! 

 

The original KSH is much more handsome than the doll I wonder why they chose him as a spokesperson , other than he's a hallyu star,  is it because of Real? So it goes along with his persona there. Anyway, i hope it's a long term contract, because i want to go there next year and that doll had better be there

Paradise City is one of Real's investor.  Part of the resort was built for the movie's filming site and to be used as a tourist attraction after the movie is completed.  Before Thaad, Real was slated to open in South Korea and China simultaneously and Paradise City saw this as an opportunity to market themselves to the Chinese market because of SH's name value there.   Even though things didn't go as planned and Real is unable to be released in China, you can tell the CEO is very pleased with Soo Hyun as their spokesperson.  How often do you see the CEO of a big corporation and their spokesperson on such close terms?

 

Soo Hyun's CF contract is for 3 years and started in April 2016, that means it doesn't end until 2019.  

 

I went to Paradise City when I visited Seoul in June, it is very high end and very beautiful inside.  Unfortunately, I forgot to visit Soo Hyun's wax figure.

Real wasn't officially released in China so we don't know if it would have had better reception there.

 

I'm not a fan of wax figures so I wasn't disappointed when I realized I forgot to seek it out at Paradise City.  IMO, none of the KSH wax figures look like him, even the one at the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong.
