@rachel and @Jelve - I just noticed that Soompi Forums will be migrating next Tuesday to their new servers, and will be offline for a week. They will have temporary forums for us to log into, but I wonder if this thread will be carried over to the temp forums? I hope so, otherwise we'll have to wait a week to post here? Hopefully all goes well and we'll be intact and together on the new forum again. Ciao!

A: Invision Power Services Inc. This company provided Soompi the original forum software back in the old days.

Q: What will be officially transferred to Invision?

User ranks (trainee to immortal including staff positions)

Q: Why are we moving?

There's a button in the lower right corner that says "insert other media". Also there's a thread here to test and learn how to insert anything. I hope this helps

Edit: I've been testing how to post a picture, and also if you only paste the link+enter, it automatically would show your picture, just wait for a few seconds.

 

I'm happy I can login from my pc again (though my username was changed ), sooooo I can post pics again!!

So it is good for something - this temporary Forum - because there are not sooo many Threads left - I checked all - and found this too.

 

For the Pix - I´m not sure if it is still like that - but in the beginning you could only insert Pix with the ending jpg. Maybe thats the Problem?

Maybe it needs more time to be fixed in my zone!

Thanks, @rachelyun! I had to insert my picture a different way - I could not use the "Insert Other Media" - "Insert Image From URL" feature.

@Jelve, here is how I inserted my countdown calendar:

Insert your image bulletin board code directly in your post like this (NO SPACES):

[ img ] http:// yourimagehost .com /yourimage.jpg [ /img ]

Your image host should have a BBCode link for message boards and forums that you can use to post your image. The direct image link won't work anymore. Hope this helps!
