Not necessarily the lowest settings like chiimin said. How the game comes, the default settings aren't even at the highest, you have to switch them to the highest yourself. My laptop has a 2.0 processor and it's been running it just fine so far with the default settings. So try it out and if it's not working out just experiment with settings I'd say. ^^

Does anybody use the needs cheat to make all of the sims' needs static?

I did... but then it got kind of boring

Oh yeah, and I just noticed this but one of my sims lifetime wish is to be an international super spy (something like that) and she had this opportunity to raid the place where the criminal sims go to work at (I forgot the name ^^ and the after effect is a glitch. If you carry out the opportunity, nobody can enter that place anymore... so yeah... :/

I had to start my town all over again.

I like this TS3 so far, there are lots more development than TS2. (But maybe because I stopped playing TS2 for years so TS3 is kinda surprise and impress me.

OMG I really want this game but I'm still waiting for a new computer (the one we're using now is 4 years old). It'll probably work because we can play Spore on it, but I don't want to start all over again once we get a new computer.

New expansion pack is in the making! You can visit France, Egypt and China.... I think there's more questing ("opportunities") involved. Looks pretty interesting.

omgosh, i love sims 3! i got bored of it awhile ago, and now i'm back to give it more lovin'! I really like creating random characters. I made a gigantic Weasley family after reading Harry Potter, and made a Witch after playing Left 4 Dead.

On the site, there's an exchange option, how do you use it? i tried to download hair from there, and it wouldn't work. Is there suppose to be a program or something that i can use to get hair.

Thank you! The female one is beautiful, and though she did a wonderful job on the male one, it's too muscular and veiny for my tastes.. I prefer a matching set though so I guess I'll have to keep searching.

The skin from here doesn't have separate files for face and body (unlike peggy's) so make sure you delete both of peggy's from your folder.

You have to install the hair separately. They're custom content made by players. Here's a site with a link to most of the CC hair:

You're not allowed to see the inside of some community lots such as the restaurant, spa, store, and workplaces.

As for the roof problem, try messing around with the 'up floor' and 'down floor' buttons.

You can only see the inside of neighbors houses if you're 'invited' in... or if you peek through their windows.

I downloaded it on my iPhone, and I have to say it's pretty lacking. I want to try the one on the computer, but the one on my phone has so little features and I quickly got over it a few days afterwards. Not worth buying at all

Excellent job! How do you get that hair? I might have the one for Light already but I'm not sure if it's the same one. I looked through every website I could find today trying to download more skins, but this is the first time I've see that style (on L)

I love The Sims series.

I was extremely excited for The Sims 3, and I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed.

Its a little slow on my computer.

I suck at making Sims........

And I don't really have a story going on.

But I still love this game.

I like the traits feature, really interesting.

And the favorites and such, very cool.

I feel like playing now.. But its too late.
