Medical Internship In Ny?

Hi guys,

My friend is looking for an internship in NYC/Manhattan. She wants to pursue a career as a pediatrician, so I was wondering what places offer internships or places that are really good for volunteering? I don't know if it's too late or not, but I want to at least know a few places to try Thanks!

Most hospital if not all, have their own website and a 'career' section or 'volunteer' section where you can apply and become part of their staff whether it is an internship, perm/temp job, volunteer work, ....ets

At this point its pretty late. Should start looking them up in early spring term. She should ask the science dept at her uni/college for opportunities too, since some schools have affiliations and if not, they have bulletins of internships etc.
