i wouldn't say i'm a fan but i also have nothing against him....just indifferent? but you're right...he just seems a bit socially awkward and so people don't find him very endearing at first sight.

i think if anything, i would feel relieved to see him bag a slam. all of that pressure and tension...even i sense it!

i'd like the see him win the AO next year, preferrably against djokovic in the final. we don't get to see this match-up a whole lot, so it'd be nice. and while i'm on slam final wish list, maybe i'd like to see delpo (health permitted) vs. nadal at the FO, fedal at wimby, and i'll make up my mind about the USO when it comes. watch me jinx everyone i've just mentioned

I saw Federer playing in Stockholm Open last week. It was amazing to see his ball-touch live.

Alright, now that I've come off sufficiently creepy lol, what's been new in the tennis world? I've been following tennis with one eye open one eye close lately. The ATP Tour Championships are finally here though...and I have no idea who's gonna win.

i'm glad berdych finally won a good match though. i loved his wide eyes and giddy smile at the end. it's the same sort of reaction he had when he beat fed at wimby. kinda like a kid saying, "omg, i won!" which is really cute since i'm under the impression it means he respected those opponents a lot. i sat at work today itching to see nadal vs. djoker, having already missed berdych vs. roddick. so finally i gave in and took off early twas a good match, 'til nole got something in his eyes?

i love how half of the matches have been played already and yet still NO ONE is guaranteed a semifinal spot yet. tis the nature of round robin i guess

isn't it strange that while Murray got bumped down to 5, he's still in Sod's quarter, which is like his own quarter since he avoided the other 3? and isn't it stranger still that he's again in rafa's 1/2 and djokovic's in fed's 1/2? what must i do to get a murray/djoko matchup prior to the final!!! heh, but i'm excited regardless.

p.s. i hope the fundraising event will go well. prayers for everyone affected by the flood.

Agree! Federer is great, but boring. Roddick is much more fun to watch and he's more emotional. He's got a good 2 handed backhand and serve but makes too many unforced errors. I used to think he'd be the one to carry on Agassi's legacy since they have similar play styles but he's never really gotten there.

On another subject i'm looking at new tennis rackets. I've been using the Prince white rackets the one's Patrick Rafter used to use. I hit with high power so i need a racket that doesn't generate it's own power and is high accuracy. I'm thinking of Wilson...but don't know which kind.
