The red carpet footage..  the hanging camera that goes around .. what a cute function though quite intimidating to LJJ. But Byunghun-ssi was totally perfect for it
Looks like BH had quite a long opening speech.. no wonder he had a rehearsal for it Seems that he's most popular to deliver speeches at the awards, huh.

Byunghun-ssi must be very happy that he's able to attend the awards tonight and that his junior at BH Entertainment, actress Shim Eun Kyung (also co-star in Masquerade) won Best Actress award in the film category for Miss Granny. Come to think of it.. another BH Ent/Msquerade actress, Han Hyo Joo won Best Actress award as well for Dongyi before this.

Byung-hun Lee to play a T-1000 in Terminator: Genesis?

We already know that three of the most iconic roles in the Terminator franchise – Sarah Connor, John Connor and Kyle Reese – are to be filled by Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher) respectively in director Alan Taylor’s prequel/sequel/reboot Terminator: Genesis.
However, there are still several actors whose characters are yet to be revealed, including Byung-hun Lee (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), who is said to have a “key role” in the film. Well, we might just have discovered who he’s playing thanks to potential leaked call sheet on Reddit (via CBM), which suggests he’s taking over the role of the T-1000, played by Robert Patrick in Terminator 2: Judgement Day…

Certainly looks pretty legit… now, how about a Robert Patrick cameo?

Terminator: Genesis is set for release on July 1st 2015 and sees Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his signature role as the Terminator alongside a cast that also includes Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man), Michael Gladis (Mad Men), and Sandrine Holt (House of Cards).

Is Byung-hun Lee playing a T-1000? Possible Scene Details Leaked From Terminator: Genesis
Call sheet possibly leaked online. Details on a scene involving Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese and a T-1000

A user on Reddit's Terminator sub-forum posted a picture of what he claims is a callsheet from the filming of Terminator: Genesis. This picture was posted a month ago but has flew under the radar until now.
Vista is the name used for the movie while filming.
The callsheet details a chase scene involving Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney). But the biggest point of interest, the scene features a T-1000 dressed as a police officer, riding the hood of a police car and liquefying through bullet holes. Robert Patrick famously played a T-1000 in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. But according to the callsheet, the T-1000 in Terminator: Genesis will be played by G.I. Joe actor Byung-hun Lee. Lee was announced as joining the film in an unknown role. Hollywood Reporter said Lee's role was "locked in the depest vaults of CyberDyne" and "promises to be a doozy"
The picture is a bit blurry but I was able to read the names of some of the stunt team. Through IMDB, I was able to verify that the names mentioned are real, some even credited with working on Genesis. And one of the locations mentioned is on Religious Street in New Orleans and can be viewed on Google Maps.
Of course, until we hear something official, it's best to take this with a grain of salt but Byung-hun Lee as a T-1000 is an interesting possibility.

Lee Byung Hun to Play the T-1000 Terminator in “Terminator: Genesis”?

Lee Byung Hun’s role in the new “Terminator: Genesis” film, after having been kept a secret since the announcement of the movie, seems to have been revealed.
On May 28, according to various Korean news sites, the “Terminator: Genesis” cue sheet was revealed on online community. The cue sheet, headed with “VISTA 2ND UNIT,” lists the shooting calls, locations, and cast players. Particularly of note was Lee Byung Hun’s character description, which was listed as “Cop, T-1000.”
T-1000 is the famous antagonist previously played by Robert Patrick in the 1991 film “Terminator 2: Judgement Day.” It is a cyborg created from “liquid metal,” capable of shapeshifting and nearly impervious to damage, due to its liquid properties.
If it is true the Lee Byung Hun is indeed playing the liquid terminator T-1000, he will most likely have a large role in the film, increasing anticipation of his fans for the movie.
The actor will be wrapping up filming for “Terminator: Genesis” in about a month, after which he will return to Korea.
The film, which is slated to premiere next summer, is the story of a young Kyle Reese, Sarah and John Connor’s father. It is a reboot on the regular series, and will be made as a trilogy. At the megaphone is Alan Taylor, who directed “Thor: Dark World,” and starring in the film alongside Lee Byung Hun are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke.

Get dizzy in the best way possible! jTBC, which is hosting the 50th Baeksang Art Awards tonight, installed a rotating camera booth on the red carpet so that fans can see their favorite celebrities in close-up, 360-degree action. The videos are being posted on jTBC’s Vine account. So far, we’ve seen Kim Soo Hyun, Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Byung Hun, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Go Ara, Jung Woo, 2PM’s Taecyeon, Lee Bo Young, Choi Jin Hyuk, Yeo Jin Goo, B1a4‘s Baro, Kim Hee Ae, A Pink‘s Eunji with Shin Sung Rok, and many, many more! There’s no way you can watch all the clips and not feel disoriented, but it’s totally worth it to see the varying degrees of awkwardness as the celebrities try to figure out whether to turn around with the camera or just let it pan around them. Some of them remain cool and composed (Lee Byung Hun, looking as suave as ever as he coordinates a perfectly-timed smile and wave right at the end)…

Korea media are widely reporting about this today with a lot of positive anticipation. Wonder if BH has truly finished filming thus the "info" being leaked somehow. Hope he's already on a break as it would seem very tiring to go back and forth to the States when there's another event in Seoul next week.  But what do we know, right.. when we don't even realized that he's back? Byung Hun-Lee To Play A T-1000?

South Korean action star Byung Hun-Lee has been generating a small storm recently in action movies Red 2 and G.I. Joe Retaliation. While the actor has yet to achieve the hollywood stardom of fellow martial artist actor Jet Li, there is no denying his action movie abilities.


A while ago we reported that the actor had been cast in the controversial new instalment to the the Terminator franchise - Terminator: Genesis, speculating it was likely he would be playing a Terminator of some description. We feared that we were in store for a repeat of 1993's science fiction flop RoboCop 3, suspecting that Lee would be cast as a ninja Terminator.
Thankfully our fears were unfounded as according to an alledged call sheet posted on Reddit from Terminator: Genesis (filming title - Vista) which details a scene involving Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) in a car chase involving a police car and a Brinka armored truck. Interestingly The call sheet states that Lee is cast as a Cop/T-1000. While it is possible that Lee is playing a police officer that a T-1000 imitates, the stars martial arts background and rising stardom in hollywood suggest Lee is in actual fact a new T-1000.
The T-1000American actor Robert Patrick (X-Files, Fire In The Sky, The Unit) rose almost overnight to international recognition in 1991 when he starred in that summers blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day as the movies antagonist - The T1000.
An advanced prototype, the series 1000 Terminator was a specialized infiltration unit composed entirely of mimetic poly alloy (liquid metal). Impervious to damage from firearms, the only units only weakness was exposure to extreme temperatures. The units vscous liquid composition allowed the series 1000 to imitate any object, organic or inorganic, that it had "sampled" by touch - so long as the source object was of similar mass or size as the unit itself. Most beneficially, the T-1000 primary means of infiltration was its capability of imitating humans. Yet the unit was unable to form complex machines, moving parts and/or chemicals, but was capable of fashioning blades and stabbing weapons to harm or terminate its targets.
While it is highly possible that Skynet followed the advanced prototype T-1000 with an actual field model, presumably in limited production numbers, and while it is also possible that like the series 800 there will have been more that one base model number, based on a different individuals cloned DNA. It is unlikely that a second series 1000 was ever developed after the prototypes failure to terminte 9 year old John Connor in June of 1994.

In the Part 1 clip, BH appeared from 00:20 till 03:45 time-mark. He's opening the awards ceremony for the 50th Baeksang Award. Lee Byung Hun stated that as a Korean actor, it is an honor for him to do the opening segment for Baeksang.

Can't quite remember where I've read it but it was mentioned that Terminator: Genesis filming ended on Monday, May 26.. Maybe, if that the case, Byunghun-ssi probably took the first flight home. ^^

Thanks to the highlight by @adikkeluangman at Memories of The Sword movie thread, and found this capture posted by kang576 who is one of the movie staff. She is the person with the earphones (standing between BH and JDY). Her work is to research & finding the right location sites for the film scenes.
Though she mentioned Kim Go Eun and Junho in her post, only Byunghun and Jeon Do Yeon featured in the photo with the staff. Looks like a younger version of BH & JDY characters, doesn't it.. before the revenge part.
