Watch: Rain Controls Kim Bum’s Every Move From Inside His Body In 1st Teaser For New Fantasy Drama

 

 

tvN’s upcoming drama “Ghost Doctor” (literal title) has unveiled its first teaser!

 

Helmed by “Heirs” director Boo Sung Chul, “Ghost Doctor” is a fantasy medical drama about two doctors who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities, but who end up combining bodies and spirits.

 

Rain will star as genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min, while Kim Bum will play silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak.

 

Apink‘s Son Naeun will play emergency room intern Oh Soo Jung, who believes in supernatural phenomena and miracles despite studying medicine.

 

In the newly released teaser, Cha Young Min’s spirit controls Go Seung Tak’s every move from inside his body, almost as if piloting a vehicle. Meanwhile, Go Seung Tak wears a blank expression in the operating room as he moves robotically at Cha Young Min’s command—then shoots Cha Young Min an irritated glare when the smug surgeon tries to point the scalpel in his direction.

 

The clip ends with Rain saying in voice-over, “A body-rental medical drama. ‘Ghost Doctor’ premieres in January.”

 

“Ghost Doctor” will air its first episode on January 3 at 10:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!

RAIN and Kim Bum showed as if they were ‘possessed’ throughout the video - hahaha -    It begins with Kim Bum moving as if he was being controlled by Rain who is holding the control stick to his actions. Watching this, I'm  curious about the kind of story that lies between the two. Rain seems to be satisfied with his control. It looks fun. It makes the first broadcast more awaited as to what kind of story the two people with different backgrounds, skills, and personalities will explain through the ‘possession’. tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Ghost Doctor' will be released on January 3 (Mon) at 10:30 pm KST.

They have decided to postpone the pre-recording schedule for today's 2021 MAMA. The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place live on December 11 at 6 pm KST. The ceremony will be held at CJ ENM Contents World in Paju, South Korea and will be hosted by its first-ever female MC, Lee Hyori. The theme for the ceremony is titled as 'Make Some Noise'. The crème de la crème of the South Korean entertainment industry will be attending the ceremony as presenters. Kim Bum remains obedient, but gets frustrated when Rain suddenly scratches his nose. Presenters for 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (CJ ENM)

The star-studded presenter lineup of musicians, actors, dancers and comedians for the upcoming “2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards was unveiled Tuesday.

Singer-actors Rain, Uhm Jung-hwa, Choi Soo-young, Super Junior’s Choi Si-won and singer Tiffany Young were confirmed as presenters. Lachica’s Gabee and Prowdmon’s Monika, who appeared on the hit TV program “Street Woman Fighter,” will also appear as presenters.

Comedian and rapper Haha, actors Song Joong-ki, Ahn Bo-hyun, Jo Jung-suk, Heo Sung-tae, Kwon Yul, Kim Young-dae, Nam Yoon-soo, Kim Seo-hyung, Kim Hye-yoon and Jo Bo-ah will present the awards to the artists at MAMA as well.

This year’s MAMA will feature a diverse range of artists, including aespa, Ateez, Brave Girls, Enhypen, INI, Itzy, Jannabi, JO1, NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT U, Stray Kids, TXT, Wanna One, pop singer Ed Sheeran and the “Street Woman Fighter” dance crews. Singer Lee Hyo-ri will host the event.

The ceremony will be streamed online through various online channels, including YouTube and Tving, with the red carpet event kicking off at 4 p.m. and the main ceremony at 6 p.m. on Dec. 11.

*** TODAY, December 8, is an online press conference for RAIN and Ro Hong Chul's Netflix's series 'The Hungry and the Hairy".  Ro Hong Chul revealed why he thinks RAIN and Kim Tae-hee will never split up with each other. "I don't think RAIN will ever divorce his wife. If he does get a divorce, it means Kim Tae-hee's got a problem, not him. This is how great RAIN is. I got to know that after traveling with him. He truly is a great guy." He also could not stop saying about how incredible RAIN is. He said that RAIN is the cleanest celebrity he has ever met. "He smells good even after we have a barbecue together. He takes amazing care of himself." He said that RAIN doesn't like asking someone for a favor, nor he asked for a favor. "I've gone on a trip with a lot of people in the past, and RAIN is the best travel mate by far. He's probably the best one in the world."
