CLC goes back to streets to perform

CLC, a new girl group from Cube Entertainment, which is home to musicians like 4Minute and Beast, held their first performance on Wednesday near AX Hall on the streets of Gwangjang-dong, eastern Seoul. The five-member girl group began by singing U.S. pop singer Katy Perry’s “Roar,” just like how they used to when they performed in the streets of Hongik University, western Seoul, while under training.

After the street performance, the girl group’s first mini-album “First Love” became available online and offline Thursday.

CLC, meaning crystal clear, is Cube’s first girl group after 4Minute.

“Rain helped us to come up this choreography,” said Jang Seung-yeon.

Singer-actor Rain also belongs to the agency.

[22-Mar-14][soompi]Rain in Talks to Star in the Hong Sisters’ Upcoming Drama

It has been reported that singer-actor Rain is in talks to star in an upcoming drama by the Hong Sisters.

On March 22, a drama rep told Ilgan Sports, “Rain is currently thinking over a casting offer for MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Feeling Good’ (working English title).” This drama was formerly known as “Jejudo Gatsby,” and model-actor Kim Woo Bin recently turned down an offer for a role in it.

If Rain is to accept, he will be acting as the drama’s male lead—a restaurant owner named Baek Gun Woo, and it will be his comeback to the small screen after six months since “My Lovely Girl.”

The actor to take on the main character will have to take cooking lessons prior to filming, as the role calls for the actor to cook first-hand.

“Feeling Good” is a ‘healing’ romance drama set in Jeju Island. It is said that actress Kang Sora is also in talks to star as the female lead. It is expected to begin airing this coming May.

According to insider source, recently Rain and Kim Taehee have purchased open ticket heading to Jeju and are adjusting their schedule. As soon as they adjust both schedule, they will leave together to Jeju.

This is their first accompany trip in this year. It is known that they decide to plan the trip as they have wrapped up busy schedule and now have free time.

Rain spent last year and this year traveling Korea, China and Europe for Chinese drama ‘Diamond River‘ shooting. At the beginning of this month, Rain has finished drama shooting completely. On March 21th Rain went to Shanghai, China for beverage CF shooting and will come back on March 22th.

Kim Taehee also had busy schedule for Chinese drama shooting until the beginning of this year. She has wrapped up the shooting in February and after that she visited USA to taking photo shoot and some rest  around lunar new year holiday.

From the last year, the couple has been enjoying free date. The two spotted in amusement park in LA, 2012. In last June fans found the couple enjoying their date in one meat restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul. Kim Taehee visited Rain’s drama set and cheered the team at the beginning of this year.

The couple have been continuing their love since they admitted their relationship. Rain received Catholic baptism attended by Kim Tae hee who is known for her devout Catholic faith.

Hello @willenette. looks like our Rain is receiving many offers in his acting career,   Regarding that supposed movie with Soo Ae, I have not read any info about it once turned down by SA.  The drama by the Hong sisters seems like a good project and here's another one, which in my opinion is the best, because of Ha Ji Won, but most of all, I hope that Rain will choose wisely  . . . . .   [-O<

Rain made a statement with regards to the reports claiming that he will be starring in The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days (translated).

A rep from Rain’s agency told Newsen on March 23, “We’re currently checking,” in regards to Rain starring in the drama.

The drama The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days, which made a casting offer to Rain, is the Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese drama In Time With You and it is scheduled to air through SBS.

Writer Min Hyo Jung, who wrote Full House and Rooftop Room Cat, will be in charge of writing the script and Ha Ji Won is in talks to take the female lead role.

Rain and Ha Ji Won acted as lovers in Rain’s music video for Love Story in 2008. Rain has also starred in the 2004 drama Full House written by writer Min Hyo Jung, bringing attention to whether they will reunite through the upcoming drama.

If Rain confirms his appearance in The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days, he will be returning to the small screen after one year since My Lovely Girl air in 2014.

He's considering the offer for the SBS drama "The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days". It's likely he'll go for it.

Rain starred in the SBS drama "My Lovely Girl" last year and was mentioned a couple of times apparently to be starring in a couple of movies and dramas since then. However, they all fell through.

"The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days" is led by actress Ha Ji-won. She's worked with almost every hot male star there is out there including Lee Seo-jin, Hyeon Bin, Jang Geun-seok, So Ji-sub, Jo In-Seong, Ji Chang-wook and more. Her consistency in teamwork with actors has created this result.

Rain has plenty of stardom but his performance in "My Lovely Girl" last year didn't meet expectations so this time, it's important he makes an impression. Ha Ji-won seems to be a good choice at this point. The two of them also showed great chemistry in the 2008 music video "Love Story".

The story has already been approved. The drama is based on a famous Taiwanese drama called, "In Time with You" (literally: "I Might Not Love You") about love and friendship. It starts off with fun romance but deals with the factors of life.

Rain is popular amongst women but fails to have a relationship because of Ha Ji-won in "The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days". His friendship with Ha Ji-won is like a friend, a family and love.

The Korean version was written by Min Hyo-jeong and is being produced by I Will Media.

Rain in Jeju Island forecast

Singer-actor Rain and his actress girlfriend, Kim Tae-hee, reportedly will go on a trip to Jeju Island sometime in the near future.

According to Star News, an online news agency, Rain and Kim recently purchased airplane tickets to Jeju after they both finished shooting Chinese TV dramas.

Rain finished “Diamond Lover” and Kim wrapped up filming of “Saint Wang Xizhi.”

In order to avoid public attention, the two have been enjoying dates outside the country since they began seeing each other in 2013, but they recently were spotted at a restaurant in Gangnam, southern Seoul.

The restaurant is known as a place run by Baekga, a member of K-pop trio Koyote and a close friend of Rain.

Rain and Kim got to know each other when they were both cast in a TV commercial for a social commerce company in 2013.

They both were involved in a wedding rumor last year.

Some news agencies reported that the two would get married soon after Rain was baptized last July.

Since Rain has not been involved in religious activities but was baptized last year at a Catholic church in Gyeonggi, many speculated Rain decided to join the church in order to marry his girlfriend, who is a devout Catholic.

But agencies of both actors denied the wedding rumor.

Rain is being considered for a role opposite actress Ha Ji Won in SBS' upcoming drama 'The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days'. 

His appearance is not yet confirmed, but it's being reported that he is highly likely to appear in the drama. He's worked with Ha Ji Won before in 2008 for his "Love Story" MV, so fans are looking forward to their chemistry if he ends up being confirmed for the role.
