I don't think there's anything wrong with that. My last relationship was like that, she was older than me. Well, I guess it was one of the reasons it didn't work out in the end...but that's not the point.

It shouldn't matter what his age is if he's a great guy right?

And a year shouldn't bother you too much. ^^;;

Hah, as for me I prefer the older ones.

love and age have nothing in common and they really should'nt be put together. age is just a number. but love is a feeling.

I dont think 1 year age difference is a big deal, for both sides. And I guess, girls feel they have more security when an older man is around? Not to be sexist or anything, but girls tend to be more mature than boys? o_O thats my point of view =P

i think its okay for an older girl to date a younger guy .. as long as the age gap isnt too big.

a year is fine, but personally it comes down to how you two get along.

age shouldnt really matter too much when you like someone.

I think views on this usually change as you get older. Age becomes a lot less of an issue. If you really like the guy, then go for it.

i second that. age isn't really an issue, its more about maturity

^ i agree.

but not just the guy's maturity but yours too.

my friends going out with someone 11 months younger, but like three grades younger.

he's pretty mature; and

she's a little immature too so it works out perfectly for them :)

This is just a curious question.

For me, I would! Because I look young and am immature for my age, I think I would match well with someone younger (not too much younger but a few years younger, i think would be ok).

Jaejin from FT Island is 3 years younger than me and I just think he's SO CUTE and hot <3 lol,

So how about u guys?

Would you? If he's mature, good looking, etc..?

I wouldn't.

It would feel too much like a little brother.

No matter how much taller/bigger/mature.. good looking, I can't get past it psychologically that he's younger than me.

It's just personal preference. I know a lot of people would, but I won't.

I wouldn't even go 1 year younger.

^- same..

i probably not even a month younger.. or a day for that matter..

he HAS to be older than me..

it's just one of those things that i can't help.. i don't mean to offend anyone

For the time being, no. A 3 year gap means a lot especially when it comes to maturity in the teen years :/

So in a few years, maybe.
