Recently, I've been suck into these same sex love movies. I find myself opening up to these sort of movies and find the story and characters to be very compelling. These are the movies I finish: Love of Siam (This is a great movie. Watch and find out why), No Regret (Toward the end is crazy, but I like it a lot. The actors play the characters very well and I believe every single emotion they show and the chemistry between the two main characters.), Formula 17 (lighthearted and funny), Eternal Summer (I don't like this movie. I think the acting is weak so I find myself not believing in the characters and not engage into the story. The movie is slow, too, not in a good way), and Spider Lilies (I feel like this movie is trying really hard to be meaningful or whatever it is trying to be, but I just feel the characters and story are unbelievable and empty).

Also I watch some of the American ones and find them to be good, too. If anyone is interested, I recommend Shelter (I think someone already provided a link to that movie), Latter Days ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvaORqz3puw...feature=channel ), and a short film call Starcrossed (which is 15 minutes long and about a love between two brothers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3JDEHnuUfU...eature=channel), and the Showtime series call The L Word.

I am really excited to wait for the two recent films, Boy Meets Boy and A Frozen Flower to come out online with, hopefully, English subtitles.

^ The L Word is on showtime. Very good show. One of my faves. Came on about 3 years after Queer as Folk, which was the ultimate awesomeness in male sex scenes

*edit* I always considered homosexuality as nature balancing things out. We are running out of room on the planet and we're urged to reproduce and populate more? Plus, it's just hot. Thank the Lord for queer cinema.

Someone asked about "Road Movie", i bought it on dvd and didn't regret it

The two main character are not young and handsome (even if personnaly i think Hwang Jung Min is john teshing sexy in this movie), it's really slow movie...

But this movie is all in subtility, nothing is never said, but little by little you learn the past of the two main characters and can guess how they did end up here, and the feelings they have. For me it's one of the best movie i saw...

Question,

I need help finding a Japanese movie of this genre.

The movie was about two Japanese girls that were in a semi relationship & live together.

All I can remember about it is two things:

One of them gets raped by the boss at her work & in once scene, they are outside

eating ice cream, and one says to the other "When you die, I will eat you.

That way we can be together forever" (Or something along those lines)

I really liked the movie, and would like to see it again, but I can't seem to remember the name ><"

Am I the only one who thought Big Bang Love, Juvenile A was big hot mess?

I couldn't even watch it I was so confused.

kinda off-topic( i think)

but part of me feels the king and the clown shouldnt really be on this list...

it doesn't take a lot to say that the main character's might of been gay

but really i don't believe that was the basis of the entire movie ; to show a gay relationship

..nope.. i think the 2 main clowns(Junki and that other guy..) were not homosexual lovers

but more of partners for life, not really relating to sexuality, more of a strong friendship.

and as far as the king, i dont think he loved Junki's character for his genitals but because

when he acted he was portraying a woman, playing female roles, which i think because

the king is so crazy that he believed the roles to be true and was blinded of Junki's actual gender.

which is why he had gotten so furious whenever the word of him lusting over a boy came about

i dont think he wanted to accept that Junki was a male, he wanted to see him as a woman.
