However, in my country, many people love this drama...

political issues???????????? that's the first i've heard of it. it was going against Li San (Yi San), a historical drama that had been airing for months. K-viewers have a thing for historical korean dramas. they'd watch that over a modern drama anyday. at least, that is the current trend. anyways, AJW's drama did waaaay worse.

So I finally saw the ending for Opponents...I was putting it off because I didn't want the series to end! Lol. But I will say that I liked the ending. I respect the writer and don't think they tried to cop-out of an ending in where YJ would end up with someone or essentially an ending that most viewers would expect and want. I like that this ending was open-ended and strayed away from the typical and formulalic method of a love triangle and in the end the girl or guy ends up with one while the other suffers at love lost. Although of course I was totally rooting for YJ and GP!!!

 

 

 

Oh how I love LJH, he's such an underrated actor in my opinion. He was really good in this drama, he pulled off the challenge of playing such a closed, guarded character when really he's a guy with a sense of humor and personality. Episode 15 was definitely his episode. I mean that scene when YJ comes to the apt to check up on him and he's crying on GN's bed...it made my heart break and I just wanted to give him a big hug lol. So convincing in his emotions, I could only imagine he's thinking of his real children and what it'd feel like giving them up.

 

 

 

All in all I really liked this drama and thought all 3 of the actors did a great job!

it was going against Li San (Yi San), a historical drama that had been airing for months. K-viewers have a thing for historical korean dramas. they'd watch that over a modern drama anyday. at least, that is the current trend. anyways, AJW's drama did waaaay worse.

No...young jin doesn't die. it's an open ending...so who she ends up with is kinda up to you

i started to watch this by downloading. im on the 6th episode now and i like it! im just wondering how come this drama has a low tv rate in Korea?

and can you imagine, i read all the post starting from page 1 till here??? my gosh! it took me 3 days to finish reading. but i enjoyed reading it anyway. im just curious with the ending. but i'll definitely finish watching this!
