I am actually so upset with the storyline this drama. The only thing that made me finished it were because of Chae Rim and then great performance of Lee Jong Hyuk (He is a good actor. He was so extremely evil in GREEN ROSE but so charismatic here) and eyecandy Lee Jin Wook and others supporting actors including the child actor.

I am a Young Jin-Gye Pil Supporter. Soo Ho might be more good looking than GP but I did not like his childish character at first. He gave YJ-GP very hard times when they acted as his bodyguard. I just started to like him when he became good person and clean shaven, which were near the end of the drama..Whereas, GP is such a charismatic character..that's what made me like him

So upset because of the vague ending, I have no idea whom YJ really liked. But somehow, I have an impression that the writer favour Soo Ho, although in the drama YJ was supposed to have stronger feeling to GP because they shared many good and bad things together as partner. Was that because LJW was the lead actor? But anyway, I still make the MV s because I like the OSTs.

I wanted Young Jin to end up with Yoo Gwan Pil. They make such a cute couple. Now, I'm wondering if there's going to be a sequel to it. Since the ending left us all hanging. If there is going to be a sequel, I want it to have twists and then at the end she ends up with Yoo Gwan Pil.

This is the second MV from me. I think the title of this drama is most suitable to describe the relationship between Young Jin and Gwang Pil.

I just finish watching last week and I love it the storyline is not the typical heavy drama to cry on & the ending is good enough that make you smile it. I love Lee Jin Wook he got improved in his acting ability. I seen him in other series but in this drama I got amazed at least he made it improved. I’m just sad because it has a low rating. But its okay I love it :D

ReallY I thought the voting is over since we all know the ending to this drama. count me in. I'm a SH/YJ fan. I keep on watching Powerful Opponents maybe 3x times already, I especially concentrate on YH/SH on their sweet moments together.

I am not a Chae Rim fan, but after watching this drama, I am captivated! I like her portray of YJ, and I find this hairstyle (with fringes) really fitting on Chaerim.

Must admit that I am one of those people who hate ambiguous endings with passion!!! But somehow, given the circumstances, I can kind of accept Powerful Opponents ending!

IMHO, I thought it was sort of obvious that YJ & SH will be together. Throughout the show, YJ was always more attracted to SH in the romantic sense, whereas I believe GP was more like an older brother to her.

It's very easy to confuse friendship and love when you work too close together. Proximity can do weird things to people. And that's what exactly happened in YJ and GP's case, at one point they confuse their partnership + friendship with love. I guess in the end, they understand they are better off as partners and good friends. They can rely on each other because they understand each other, and that they trust each other. If they truly love each other, than nothing, not even their jobs, would stop them from being together. However, both of them choose their careers in the end...in other words, I think YJ and GP realize they are not romantically compatiable.

On the other hand, I like to think that YJ's feelings towards SH starts to develop right after when SH told her to stay put and rest (after she got beat up while protecting him). Then YJ's reaction to the kiss speaks volume. She tried to be disgusted by it...however, we can see her couldn't stop thinking about it. All her life, YJ concentrated on becoming a body guard and a good daughter...so she never truly given any thoughts on other things in life, especially a love life. Like she said in the beginning, she declared, "I am married to the country!"

YJ is always the one to take care of people, her father, her grandpa, and her brother. And she "takes care" of the ones she protects. Never does she know what it's like to be taken care of. Therefore, when a passionate guy like SH suddenly shows up in her life, YJ truly gets to experience what's it like to be a "normal" woman. To be courted, to be cherished, to be protected, and most of all, to be loved.

I love how SH always tries to protect YJ, although in his childish ways. Like how he got so pissed when he saw the scars on her face, and would revenge for her. Or when he noticed how tired she was, and demanded her to stay and rest. Also, when YJ was falsely accused, SH did all he could to clear her name. Most importantly, SH was willing to change, to become a better person because YJ asked him to. I think deep down, YJ is truly touched!

And like some of you have mentioned, during YJ's operation, she dreamt of all of them, BUT with SH in front of everyone...and that signifies the importance of SH in YJ's life. Besides, remember the 1-year-after scene, when YJ picked up her pocketbook (card holder book), how she smiled sweetly to herself...and that is because of SH's letter!

Regarding GP, I like to think he will be paired up with that new student in the end. The girl who was not afraid to go up against him! We all know GP rarely smiles...but he smiles this secret smile after what the girl told him. He couldn't help but impressed by her. And really, I want him to be with someone who doesn't have any link with SH. I don't want him to feel any unecessary guilt again!

So yeah, a very enjoyable drama!!!
