How she first started

Yoo Ha Na originally got her start in the entertainment business by posing for pictures in various magazines in South Korea. One of Yoo's photos caught the eye of Chen Yu San (producer for the Taiwanese drama My Lucky Star) from a magazine she picked up while at a beauty salon. Chen made arrangements afterwards with Yoo's agent to fly Yoo from South Korea to Taiwan to audition for My Lucky Star, which landed Yoo the lead female role in that drama. At the time, Yoo had already done a music video with Taiwanese singer Jay Chou.

I just finished watch MLS and she acted soooo well! I love the chemistry between Jimmy and Hana. They are so good together. I'm glad she landed the leading role. Hopefully, she'll return to Taiwan and film so more idol dramas. Jimmy hadn't filmed a drama for over 3 years and Hana is so lucky to be his leading lady. I hope her role in there had actually open more doors in Taiwan and Korea for her. She deserves it!

I just saw her in My Lucky Star-her first drama! When I heard how she got picked to be in My Lucky Star-come on, right out of a magazine!?- I was reluctant to watch the drama expecting horrendous acting. But after watching the drama--- seriously, she acted better in this drama than some other actresses with lots of dramas under their belt. Though it looks like she had her voice dubbed and she had to respond to lines not in her native language- she looked completely natural and fitting in the taiwanese drama! And despite the language barrier, she managed to have great chemistry with all the Chinese/Taiwanese actors/actresses. She is a natural!

i first saw her in jay's mv "white windmill" and she left a deep impression on me....afterward saw her in "my lucky star'' and till now that impression has not left me...i am glad to find out that she has a project, can't wait to see it

I dont think they will be paired up again in the future because HaNA will be mostly in korea. I enjoy the drama too. Her current korean drama is First Wives Club.
