Comments: I noticed Lee Eun Sung since Sharp 2 with Go Ara, where I thought her character was really cute (and a bit more likeable than Ara's character) and her voice was interesting. And then she appeared in two of my favorite 2007 series - Que Sera Sera and Evasive Inquiry Agency - and she acted quite well imo. So I decided to create a thread for Lee Eun Sung, who I believe has a lot of potential and hopefully she'll gain more recognition.

i 1st saw her in s#arp 1 as well and was really impressed with the whole cast. she's one of those few actresses that seems to shine more as time passes...absolutely stunning. when i first saw her, i thought she was a little freaky looking but now, i love her unique slanted eyes and dimpled smile.

although some of her projects, like i am happy, is mainstream, she has a cult feel to her (kind of like han hyo joo and her independent film leanings) that i really dig since most k-actresses seem too generic these days.

Oh, I love Lee Eun Sung in Mixed-Up Investigative Agency. She's absolutely wonderful - she holds a lot of talent and promise at such a young age. I really look forward to seeing more of her in future; I'm even going to watch I Am Happy partly for her. :)

Unfortunately, I don't believe so. It was another singer - Yoongjin. LES was in Epik High's Fan MV as the obsessed fan though

I have waited for so long for someone to make a thread of Lee Eun Sung and finally someone did it. Thanks a lot yoh I first saw her in EIA and since then become her fan. I also watched her in QSS and the latest drama Happiness. She is pretty and very talented actress and i hope she will become more popular after this and appears in many great dramas and films...

고아라·김기범과 함께 청소년 드라마 '반올림' 출신으로 유명한 이은성(20). 그에겐 요즘 한 가지 고민이 있다.

정초부터 영화 '더 게임'의 홍일점으로 충무로의 기대주로 부상한 데 이어, SBS TV 주말극 '행복합니다'(극본 김정수, 연출 장용우)에서 톡톡 튀는 연기로 호평받았으나, 의외의 복병 '뉴하트'를 만났기 때문.

'뉴하트'의 주인공 이름이 우연찮게 이은성(지성)이라, 이를 헷갈린 10대 팬들이 그의 미니홈피에 지성을 응원하는 글을 남겨 그를 곤혹스럽게 만들었다.

"갑자기 미니홈피 방문자 수가 늘어 좋아했는데, 알고 보니 "지성 오빠, 연기 잘 봤어요"라는 글들이 가득하더라고요. 미니홈피를 닫을까 고민도 했죠. 다행히 요즘엔 '행복합니다'를 본 팬들이 '누나, 예뻐요'라는 글을 남겨주고 있어요.(웃음)"

극중 발레를 전공하는 도도한 재벌가 딸 박애다인 그는 씩씩하고 털털한 언니(김효진)와 대비를 이룬다. 하지만 홑꺼풀 눈웃음이 김효진과 판박이인 데다, 엄마 역인 이휘향과도 묘한 분위기가 닮아 실제 촬영장에서 "세모녀가 붕어빵"라는 말을 듣고 있다.

"효진 언니와는 클래식 음악을 좋아하는 취미가 같아 금세 친해졌어요. 얼마 전엔 쇼팽에 푹 빠져서, 효진 언니에게 강추했죠. 이휘향 선생님에겐 벌써 '엄마'라 부르는 걸요." 앞으로는 가난한 복서 강석(하석진)과 러브라인으로 시청자들의 눈물도 쏙 빼놓을 작정이다.

"정통 멜로 연기를 하기 위해 비슷한 영화를 보며 참고하진 않아요. 대신 소설을 자주 읽어요. 에쿠니 가오리 같은 일본 특유의 감성과 멜로를 좋아해요."

데뷔 6년차라 여느 스무살답지 않게 소신이 뚜렷하고 당차다. 대학도 "기계적으로 들어가 공부하기보다, 일만 열심히 하고픈 욕심 때문에 아직 진학할 계획이 없어요"라고 말했다.

"가끔 08학번이 된 친구 (박)신혜가 학교 자랑을 하면 부럽긴 해요. 대신 전 학습지로 일본어를 열심히 독학 중이에요. 나중엔 혼자서 유럽 여행도 다녀오고 싶어요."
