I wore a similar outfit (dress-shirt, tie, suspenders, and knee-length slacks) to my semi-formal earlier this year =)

Wanted to do a tux too for prom and "escort" my friends but my mom said she'd kill me if I did -__- Hence the dress currently hanging in my closet...

i'm going to another school's prom in early june (yes i know its so far away haha) and i got my dress yesterday

it looks better when you wear it & i love the details on the bust area

I got my prom dress custom-made. Total for the dress with material + labor = $90. =]

My favorite part of the dress was the back.

The design I came up with myself, and I got it made by a lady that makes the dresses for my dance group. =]

what kind of shoes should i wear? and clutch?

also, i'm unsure of how to do my hair? pictures?

my prom is this friday

(its strapless) and i'm in my brother's room

i think pink heels would be cute, peep toe. mmm i'll post a picture when i get a chance. i think putting your hair up would look nice too. but, when it comes to wearing the dress, wear a strapless bra because when you can see the straps of the bra on a strapless dress, the look gets thrown off. pink clutch too? IMO though :]

But while I'm at it, suga_sw33t, pretty much any dress can be a prom dress imo, as long as you glam up your appearance enough. A few of my friends are wearing short, informal dresses but I know they're going to go all out with their hair/makeup so it's fine. That's a cute dress btw - I like the detail at the bodice and the pattern =)
