Here is the translation for the David McInnis' interview pertaining to Kyo.  Translated from the Chinese translations by Kyo's weibo fan account.

"In episode 11, there was a time where Argus kidnapped Kang Mo Yeon to threatened Yoo Shi Jin.  There was a scene where Song Hye Kyo was tied to a chair and was hit in the face with a gun.  It was hard to act it out.  My heart was hurting, felt very sad because I have to use my hand holding the gun to constantly hit SHK's face, so have to be very careful when acting it out.  Also the scenes where I was pointing a gun to her forehead, I was very worried about SHK.

But I really think SHK is a very professional actress.  When rehearsing, she would say to me 'I'm all right, when it's time to point the gun at forehead, make it more accurate, when it's time to hit, make it more real'.  Originally because she's a very famous actress, so have to be more careful, but in order to show the best performance, she did not have any uncertainty at all.  So that's why, without any burdens, we can show the truest performance.

To be honest, before acting in this drama, don't know Song Hye Kyo that well, but first time collaborating, she is very friendly, easy-going, generous, would take care of others.  In terms of acting she is very professional.  Learned a lot from her."

The only drama that I've watched and re-watch in this past 2 months is just DOTS, DOTS MV, listening to DOTS OST, reading and posting mostly DOTS related things...

I love her role as KMY the most and I'm grateful that KES changed the script to reflect more of HyeKyo's characteristics in KMY, which to me show how much the writer valued her as a person. I'm happy for HyeKyo too that DOTS is the new BIG thing in Asia and she is a big part of that success. Like everyone, I hope to see her walking the red carpet and win many awards for her brilliant acting as KMY.

Song Hye Kyo Receives Attention for Not Taking Advantage of Her Celebrity Status

Despite her celebrity status and all the benefits, actress Song Hye Kyo has chosen to pay for the rental costs of her press conference venue.

On April 20, she held a press conference at the Grand Ballroom of the five-star Four Seasons Seoul. The rental rates for Four Seasons Seoul — one of the most luxurious hotels in the city — are estimated to be extremely high.

It has now been revealed that Song Hye Kyo paid for the rent herself without any support from Four Seasons. This is surprising as top stars are commonly offered lower rates or complimentary use of hotel venues.

A representative of her agency UAA confirmed this, saying, “She took care of the entire payment for the venue. No sponsorship was involved. She didn’t reveal her identity [when reserving], and simply told the hotel staff that there’ll be a drama-related meeting.”

“We just recently found about Song Hye Kyo being involved in the event,” a representative of Four Season Seoul commented on the surprising news.

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo starred in the recently ended phenomenally popular drama "Descendants of the Sun."

Song Hye Kyo is making a special donation to the Statue of Liberty!

Here comes another patriotic donation by Song Hye Kyo!

The top actress is once again donating Korean language brochures, and this time it's to Statue of Liberty in New York! Previously, Song Hye Kyo was praised for her donations to the Provisional Government Building of the Republic of Korea in Changsha, China. It was also revealed that she has already donated Korean language brochures to various locations in New York awhile back. 

On April 21, Song Hye Kyo commented, "Whenever I travel for work or leisure, I see brochures in Chinese and Japanese at various archaeological sites and museums, but no Korean brochures. I get very sad and disappointed by that. It also harms my pride as a citizen of Korea." 

 It's so good too see the top star continuing to support her nation!

“Acting has never been easy, and it will never be. When I was younger, I thought time will tell. But as I become more seasoned, it was the complete opposite. I became very nervous whenever I start filming a new work, to this day. I think a lot about the character I play. I became stressed thinking about how to portray the character the best way.

“Even after completing a successful role, nothing much changes. I will do as I have always been doing. It won’t lead to any change of direction in my career.”

“Song Hye-kyo is like an ordinary person. I used to have many friends to hang out with when I was young. I had so many that I could not take care of all of them. Nowadays, the older I get, I lose more friends. I became increasingly cautious in terms of relationships to the degree that I only hang out with those who can tolerate anything that I do. I cry if something bad happens, I grab a drink with friends when I get stressed out, I travel, I sometimes lash out at my closest friends. The only difference is that I’m a celebrity and I’m shown to the world. Apart from that, I think I’m like most women my age.”

“Nowadays, as the filming session is complete, I usually stay idle. I was so stressed out and exhausted, which leaves me spaced out. Now is the time for recovery, without worrying about anything.”

I asked him why, and I said it’s deplorable. News reports about our project spread. I thought it was just a minor thing. I still have a lot to learn. Helping Seo gives me a lot of lessons. I ask him questions while doing the project, and he answers me, then I‘m on a learning process. I believe I’m in the right direction, so I will continue our project,”

“I haven’t decided which project I will be engaged in. I hope I could work with like-minded staff and actors. I’m not sure whether my future project is Chinese or Korean.”

“On the character I want to play in the future, I have a lot in mind, but as you see, there are only limited roles a Korean actress could play. I do get offers for roles in thrillers, a genre I never tried before, but I haven’t accepted a role because there are many things to consider, like the quality of the writing. I wish there were more diverse choices for actresses, as there are for actors. A lot of great Korean actresses remain out of the limelight because the roles they can play are limited. I hope directors could offer actresses more diverse genres or more multidimensional characters.

Despite of "loveletters"... For me this is her first to take control, confident in public interviews.. In front of 100 people or even more alone in table ( when love letter she's companying  sit along with mc) ... So much confident in her eyes n gesture.. Love it.. At last she's can nail it.. So much improving in her private public.. I mean for public speaking etc

She's so relax not rushing in project (rejecting the big projects on movie n modelling ) n more n more determine in charity project..  I really sure she's surely feel so bless n happy now with dots n her achievement in it n she's also enjoying the moment like others casts of bundling  dots succes but with her "style"

Obsessed ME! Everytime SHK uploads a photo on her insta, I have the habit of refreshing it to see how fast it accumulates likes! As of the moment, 30-50 likes in 1 sec. Sure enough , it was higher when it was just uploaded a few hours ago...

DOTS crew held a meeting at KBS today and they talked about a possible second season, in the article that I read it said that they will not continue with the same storyline but KES, Actors and Directing crew will most probably be back for a possible air time of 2017.

I hope that this is the reason that SHK rejected that Chinese Movie, since she's considering doing DOTS-2 which will mean that shooting will start sometime this year.

Guys, i just browsed the aino_aino ig account. Oh my goodness! All her photos got the most likes from their posts. Two of her photos got 2000plus likes. And the other one with SJK got more than 4000 likes. Other top female stars photos not even passed 500 likes. Amazing!

I think the reason why her latest post was about the jewelry, maybe she already knew she have the most number of likes from their ig posts. If that's so? Wow she's really kind.

Lately, she only doesn't show how nice she is by her charity works but also how she is in every small doings showing her gratitude to all. This small things she does trully shows her true inner beauty.
