Song Hye-kyo talks about friendship with Huang Xiaoming

Actress Song Hye-kyo, who is starring in Chinese drama flick “The Crossing 2,” talked about her costar Huang Xiaoming during a recent interview with a Chinese media outlet.

“I received lots of help from him,” Song said about Huang via Chinese media outlet Feng Huang Yu Le’s interview released Friday. “He is a very warm person. He was always concerned whether I would have any problems in acting. Because of his generosity, we were able to act well together, just like old friends.”

“The scenes that we acted together were shorter than I thought,” she said. “If there is any chance in the future, it would be great to do a fun film together.”

Song also offered congratulations to the recent marriage of Huang and actress Angela Yeung, better known by her stage name Angelababy. “I hope they will live happy ever after,” she said. “It would be great to meet together (with Angelababy).”

Song takes the lead role in the second installment of “The Crossing,” alongside the stellar cast that includes Huang, Zhang Ziyi and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Directed by Hong Kong and Hollywood director John Woo, the two-part film “The Crossing” centers on the sinking of the ship Taiping, an actual disaster that occurred in 1949 that claimed thousands of lives in China. Song takes the role of Zhou Yun Fen, a wealthy debutante who marries General Lei Yi, played by Huang. Dubbed as a Chinese version of “Titanic,” the film illustrates three couples and their love story against a backdrop of war and disaster.

The first part, which was released last December in China, was a box-office hit and the second part opened in China on Thursday.

I've already watched TC2, SHK's acting is deeply impressed and moved  she expressed excellently feelings inside the character. However, movie's flow as well as the way that Director directed it is not good, even in this part. Maybe becos this is his first romantic film

Kyo's name is on Weibo's real-time hot search.  Kyo's AIMH oppa, Song Seung Hun, is confirmed to be in a relationship with Chinese actress, Liu Yi Fei.  C-netizens are asking Kyo to marry into China and asking their Chinese actors to snatch up Kyo to make up for their loss of their goddesses (Tang Wei and Liu Yi Fei) .  Some of the comments on Weibo are hilarious, with some saying that whoever manages to date or marry Kyo, he'll be called the "Nation's Hero"
