I wouldn't mind ferrari and them splitting actually. The FIA has imposed too many rules to F1 that has really really limited the abilities of the cars. What F1 was all about back in the days was super high tech cars of the future. Now with the rule changes, it will be as fast as Indy cars and LM cars.

I don't keep up with this sport, but what seriously happened to Lewis Hamilton this year? I thought he was gonna be the next Schumacher.

The McLaren has been horrible. The cars chassis has been destroyed practically that McLaren themselves has stated they have stopped trying to fix the car and started to produce next years car.

Ferrari Considering Early Focus On 2010 Car

Ferrari has dropped a firm hint that it will soon switch its focus on to the 2010 car, with its current F60 having failed to prove a match for the race-winning Brawn and Red Bull Racing cars.

Having scored just one podium finish so far this year, the team has little chance of turning its fortunes around in time to battle for the title.

And that is why Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has suggested that the team will soon start shifting its efforts on to making sure that it gets its 2010 car spot on.

"I am confident we can improve our performance in the next races, but having said that it is quite difficult if not impossible really to dramatically change the car during the season without tests," di Montezemolo told the official Ferrari website.

"When you have a car at the beginning of the season with certain characteristics it is difficult to change it during the season between one race and the other.

"But I am very confident we can improve our performances in the next race, and then we will be fully concentrated to next year's car, without KERS, with clear rules after the important agreement that we have been very pleased to find with the FIA last week."

Di Montezemolo has once again blamed the early season uncertainty over double-decker diffusers for playing a part in Ferrari's troubles this season.

"Unfortunately we started the season with grey rules," he said. "It is difficult to give a correct interpretation, and the proof is that the three teams that have won the last F1 world championship - like Ferrari, McLaren and Renault have made the same interpretation of the rules, and they are not as competitive as before.

"This is one of the reasons of our battle, to have rules more stable, clear, transparent, and we have done the car with the KERS, it means more weight on the car and a lot of other teams have not done the KERS.

"So if the federation wants to introduce the KERS, it has to be the same for everybody. Now I think it is time to go back to clear rules."

So, FIA just announced that F1 will be coming back to the U.S in Austin in fact...Anyone excited? What do you think of the 2010 season? I wish Schumacher would smoke everyone again...or that Vettel would win.

Bernie Ecclestone, President and CEO of the Formula One Group stated: “For the first time in the history of Formula One in the United States, a world-class facility will be purpose-built to host the event. It was thirty years ago that the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ was last held on a purpose-built permanent road course circuit in Watkins Glen, NY (1961-1980), which enjoyed great success. Since then, Formula One has been hosted by Long Beach, Las Vegas, Detroit, Dallas and Phoenix all on temporary street circuits. Indianapolis joined the ranks of host cities in 2000 when they added a road course inside the famed oval. Lewis Hamilton won the last Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ in 2007, signalling the end to eight years at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This however, will be the first time a facility is constructed from the ground up specifically for Formula One in the US.”

Considering Hamilton and Alonso has a lot of bad blood between them from being teammates, ya. Also, Alonso pissed at kovalenien for blocking him on an overtake.

Mclaren released their car today, pretty radical compared to the other cars with a U-shaped side pod system and front flowing exhaust like the Renault. Should make for an interesting season with all these changes to the cars with no F-duct, Kers coming back, adjustable rear wings.

I  wish I could attend the Korea GP. I am pretty excited that F1 is returning to the US for the upcoming season, however.

Mark Webber is def. my favorite driver, he manages to set so many fastest laps in the season.
