According to the information shared on iMBC Triangle, the Music Producer of “Heaven’s Postman” Movie will be Producer of  MBC Korean Drama “Triangle” OST as well.

“Heaven’s Postman” or “Postman to Heaven” is a 2009 South Korean-Japanese film starring Kim Jaejoong and Han Hyo-joo, It was part of the “Telecinema7″ project, seven feature-length mini-dramas which were collaborations between South Korean TV directors and Japanese TV screenwriters; you can watch this movie here.

The production team for upcoming MBC TV Mon-Tue drama ‘ #Triangle ’, has today released photos of one of its main characters, Heo Young Dal, that is played by #KimJaeJoong (JYJ).

The role of Heo Young Dal which is played by Kim Jae Joong, is someone who lives at the lowest rung of society, but why is he seen sitting alone at the top of the hill from the photos, while dropping tears and belting out a song?

Heo Young Dal lives out his life as a casino debt collector, and would stop at nothing to make sure he gets the money back, and is known as an infamous thug from Gangwon-do. Having lost his parents at the age of 7 before getting separated from his brothers, Dong Soo and Dong Woo, all Heo Young Dal can find around him are his enemies ever since.

The photos that were released today, reflect the bitter life of Heo Young Dal and the loneliness that he has been carrying with him since he was 7. Basking in the setting of the sun, Heo Young Dal sits alone at the top of the hill, while dropping tears and singing out loud, as his vocals resonate from around him to afar.

Heo Young Dal is described as a person who lives on bravely like a weed, and Kim Jae Joong will be displaying the determination of Heo Young Dal who would overcome all obstacles in order to survive in this harsh world.

Kim Jae Joong has continuously showed off his image as a perfect guy in his past dramas, but he will be showing off a brand new image through ‘Triangle’ this time round. He said, “Just from the character description, you will find that Heo Young Dal is somewhat similar to myself in real life, so I had an easy time when it comes to portraying my role. My previous roles were really different compared to my real self, so it wasn’t easy for me. Heo Young Dal might appear to be innocent and ignorant, but he actually has his own dreams, so please look forward to the process of seeing him work hard to change himself and work towards realizing his dreams.”

‘Triangle’ is a story about 3 brothers who get separated when they were young following their parents’ death, but gets reunited when they get older. ‘Triangle’ is helmed by screen writer Choi Wan Kyu and director Yu Cheol Yong, who are working together again after 5 years. They had previously worked on ‘All In’ and ‘Swallow The Sun’.

The drama will replace ‘Empress Ki’, and premiere on May 5th at 10PM (KST) through MBC TV.

With little time left before he goes to the army, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong shared that JYJ will make a comeback before then. 

On April 30, Kim Jae Joong and the cast and staff of MBC’s Triangle held a press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Gangnam. There, he talked a bit about plans for the near future. 

“I think this project will be my last before going to the army. I want to go to the army after I’ve shown everyone something good.”
However, with the saddening news, Kim Jae Joong added, “It’s hard to give you confirmed details, but I plan on participating in JYJ promotions in the latter half of this year.”
“If it was all on me, I have intentions to adjust it, but because it is a group activity, it’s not something I can just fix on my own. So it’s hard to give you solid details.” 
Triangle, starring Kim Jae Joong, Lee Bum Soo, Im Si Wan, and more will air on May 5.

On April 30th, the press release for MBC’s new drama ‘Triangle’ was held at Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyun-dong in Gangnam District, Seoul. Kim Jae-joong wore a black suit and a yellow ribbon to offer his condolences to people affected by the Sewol ferry disaster.

‘Triangle’ is a melodrama about three brothers who got separated at a young age but meet again after not knowing about each other for 20 years. Kim Jae-joong plays a guy who’s called ‘trash at the casino’ living in Gangwon Province.

Kim Jae-joong said, “My character is a gangster, who lives in Sabuk in Gangwon province. He keeps his desires and ambitions. He will start to change after meeting his brothers and Baek Jin-hee”.

Kim Jae-joong also said, “I’ve played cool roles so far like a directing manager or a military officer. But it was hard for me to know about the character as I have never lived like that. I actually feel that I act like ‘Heo Young-dal’ in my daily lives, except the things the character has to do. I like my role as he is more humane than other roles that I played”.

Here are the questions asked to Kim Jae-joong.

- You worked with Lee Beom-soo for ‘Dr. Jin’. What can you learn from Lee Beom-soo?

I’ve watched him acting since I was young. I admire him. I feel grateful to work with him again. I always think that I should become an actor like him.

- You are planning to join the military in the second half of the year. Will this be your last drama before that?

I think so. I’m not sure about the exact date. But I think JYJ will still perform until in the second half. We should wrap it up first.

- Why did you choose ‘Triangle’?

I wanted to join after reading the script. I just loved it. Like Yim Si-wan, I’ve been on many dramas. So I always wanted to try various roles. I like my humane character in the new drama.

- You faced so many hardships in the highlight videos.

He looks cool in some scenes. But he mostly faces so many hardships like being covered with coal. I feel sorry for him. But I’ll do my best to express him as naturally as possible. The more I shoot, the better I understand about the character ‘Young-dal’.

- Don’t you feel pressured comparing to your former drama?

I try to do my best and enjoy working. (Laughter)

- Can you tell me more about the action scenes with Yoshihiro Akiyama (Chu Sung-hoon)?

I’ve never watched ‘The Return of Superman’. But I only knew about him as a friend of mine in Japan knows him. I talked to him in Japanese cause I thought it would be easier for him but he was really good at Korean. I only got hit by him. When we talked, I felt he is against his manly image shown on TV but he is very nice and calm. I was very surprised by that.

- Don’t you want to be a solo artist?

I just feel sorry and sad about it. I don’t think there isn’t any artist who wants to hide himself from the public.

Kim Jae-joong will show a different character this time. The first episode of MBC’s ‘Triangle’ will be aired at 10pm on May 5th.

The press conference for MBC‘s ‘Triangle’ took place on April 30 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul.  At the event, Siwan revealed his first impressions of co-star Jaejoong, who plays his older brother in the series.

Siwan said, “I first met Jaejoong during our casino practice.  I was really fascinated at the time.”  Jaejoong added, “I was very fascinated, too.  He was someone I saw on TV, so I was very intrigued.  I was very fascinated with Baek Jin Hee, too.  I thought to myself that they were all very handsome and pretty.”

Siwan continued, “After meeting Jaejoong for the first time, we went out to eat and he ate mackerel for dinner.  I found that very awkward and different.  For some reason, I did not feel like Jaejoong would eat and even if he did, he would enjoy something like hamburgers or pizza.  It was really interesting.  I had an almost mystical fantasy regarding his image.  However, when I saw him eating mackerel, he seemed very much like a normal person and I liked it.”
