Thank You :)

Beautiful Dresses with our beautiful goddess

oh wow!! Thanks, I've always thought it looks like a wedding/ bridal gown and I kept imagining her walking down the aisle with that dress instead of the one she used (the Reem Acra dress which was also a stunning gown hahahhaa)..... I dont like the one she used on the press conference also a jenny packham gown)

Some women don't show until the last trimester of their pregnancy, and somehow I have a feeling JJH may be the same. In the Kloud Beer CF, only her chest fuller otherwise her bump was not noticeable (considering it was a hugging dress). But dang!!! It may be the "make-up" but she is glowing; the "pregnancy glow". By now, she should know the gender of the baby. I wonder will it be a girl or boy, he or she will be one good looking child :P

maybe they edited it, sometimes they dont show her full front figure or they got a shot that's too far, they said that if you didnt let your baby get too big in your tummy , you wont have a hard time delivering it, esp if you want a natural birth, I just dont know if you can control the growth inside ahahahah... maybe the food that you eat???.... I'm excited for her, yeah.. she probably knew if she'll have a daughter or a son... i wish its a girl heheheh.... It would be too cute to see her with a baby bump, hollywood stars were always proud of the bump, unlike korean celebs....but I kinda think that shes lucky if she'll just start to show up in her 3rd trimester....

ILLI HANBANG BIO SKINCARE CERAMIDE ATO CREAM

I remember JJH was the model for illi years ago but this is new. So she is now the model for illi again?

I think that she was always the model for illi Hanbang Bio Skincare which is also a brand from Amorepacific. She's still the face of their official website:

http://www.illi.co.kr/index.jsp

So, she is a model for Amorepacific's illi Hanbang and HERA. I don't know if she's still the spokesperson for AP's weight loss VB Slimmer DX program. It wouldn't make sense now to promote VB Slimmer in her current condition.

Busan film festival fuels Asia's booming movie market

ASIA'S most influential film festival kicks off Thursday in the South Korean port city of Busan, celebrating its 20th anniversary at a time of growing regional clout in the global movie market.

"An increasing number of filmmakers from around the world are paying attention to the importance and potential of Asian cinema and the market here," said actress Kang Soo-Yeon, co-director of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

"BIFF has always recognised the importance of Asian cinema and aimed to help introduce the region's rising talent," Kang told AFP.

This year, the 10-day festival will open with the world premiere of Indian drama Zubaan by first-time director Mozez Singh.

BIFF has never had a Bollywood production as its curtain raiser and Singh described the selection of his movie as a "wonderful turn of events."

"All you really want is to make the best possible film that will reach out to as many people around the world as possible. Busan will give Zubaan this chance," he said

The coming-of-age feature follows the story of a young man who uses music to question his role in modern Indian society.

"New ground"

"BIFF has constantly broken new ground by empowering new and young film makers and it continues to do so," Singh said.

The festival's 20th edition will showcase 304 movies from 75 countries, including 94 world premiers.

Asian superstars such as Korea's Jun Ji-Hyun and Lee Jung-Jae, China's Tang Wei and Taiwan's Chang Chen will walk the red carpet alongside Hollywood A-listers like Harvey Kietel and Tilda Swinton and Europe's Sophie Marceau and Nastassja Kinski.

The combined box office collect of Asia's biggest movie markets – China, Japan, India, South Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia – out-earned North America for the first time last year by US$10.5 billion (RM46.12 billion) to US$10.4 billion, according to the Motion Picture Association of America.

Much of that was down to stellar growth in China where box-office receipts surged 38% from 2013 to US$4.8 billion.

Growth in the first eight months of this year is estimated to have been even higher at 49%, and the Chinese market alone is expected to out-earn North America by 2018.

Cradle for talent

In the 20 years of its existence, BIFF has prided itself on identifying the filmmakers who have helped spur the industry's growth in the region and on championing the cause of independent Asian cinema.

Multi-award winning Korean directors Bong Joon-Ho and Kim Ki-Duk's early work was first introduced to the world at the festival, as was the work of China's box office king Feng Xiaogang.

Bong and Feng have gone on to direct Hollywood-funded productions - Bong with the sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer (2013) and Feng with the war drama Back to 1942 (2012).

BIFF's Window on Asian Cinema and Korean Cinema Today programmes are designed to give audiences a look at who might be coming next.

There are a combined 20 world premieres in those two sections alone, with much expected of the Korean-Chinese comedy thriller Bad Guys Always Die, directed by first timer Sun Hao and backed by China's Feng and Korean veteran Kang Je-Gyu.

The 2015 Asian Filmmaker of the Year Award will be presented to Japan's Studio Ghibli, formed by animation master Hayao Miyazaki and responsible for the Oscar-winner Spirited Away (2001).

Political pressures

But it hasn't all been plain sailing for BIFF with controversies seemingly stalking organisers at every turn over the past 12 months.

Political pressure was brought to bear last year after they scheduled a controversial documentary looking at the Sewol ferry disaster in which more than 300 people died.

Busan's city mayor, who was also chairman of the BIFF organising committee, urged the festival's director, Lee Yong-Kwan, to cancel the screening.

In the end, the film was shown but Lee said he later came under pressure from the municipal authorities to resign.

Then earlier this year, the festival had its state funding slashed to 800 million won from last year's 1.4 billion won.

Kang Soo-Yeon, who now shares the festival director duties with Lee, said she hoped the focus would shift back to the films themselves.

"I think it is important that this year's festival can be appreciated by as many people as possible – without any misadventure – and then we can move on to planning the next 20 years," she said. –AFP

Article: Everything you wanted to know about celebrity salons

Source: TV Report via Naver

Summary of the interesting bits:

- Stars usually start their work day by heading to the salon. All hair and make up must be perfect before schedules for the day begin. Sometimes they'll have their staff join them on set to touch up as the day goes on.

- Stars who don't have schedules will still go in once in a while for upkeep. A salon isn't merely to get your hair and make up done but to create an "image" for your career.

How are salons chosen? "We don't go to salons that celebrities want to go just because they like it. From the company's perspective, we have to balance out an image we think matches her versus the image she wants for herself. Stars will usually use the same salon for 2-3 years but with variation, because shop A might be better at sexier make up looks while shop B is better at innocent looking ones." (Celebrity management agency A)

- Stars will test out certain salons a couple times before making a final decision on where they think fits their image the best. They will usually move with their stylist if they move shops or go solo because they know their skin condition and favorite concepts the best.

Salons and the stars who go to them:

Musee Neuf:

Kim Hyo Jin, Shin Se Kyung, Chun Woo Hee, Kang Hye Jung

A by Bom:

Han Ye Seul, Park Soo Jin, Han Yeri

Jungsaemmool:

Han Hye Jin, Wonder Girls, miss A (Fei and Jia), Park Joomi

Jenny House:

Han Ji Min, Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Jung, Moon Chae Won, Son Dambi

Lee Kyung Min Foret:

Hwang Jung Eum, Kang Sora

Style Floor:

Moon Geun Young, Nam Bora

S Hue:

Han Chae Young

Lee Hee Hair & Make up:

Uhm Jung Hwa, Hong Eun Hee

Azurer:

Kim So Yeon, Son Dambi

Aura

Go Jun Hee, Jang Jae In, Suzy (personal schedules), Lee Chung Ah, Lee Da Hae

 Boris:

Kim Ha Neul, So Yi Hyun

Freelancers:

Jun Ji Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Min Hee, Jun Do Yeon, Suzy

Sunsoo:

SNSD, Red Velvet, Girl's Day, AOA, Gain, Kim Ok Bin, Jung Ryeo Won

- Prices vary widely depending on the celebrity and the type of work because salons will sometimes have to follow stars on drama sets. Pictorials and CF shoots are paid the day of, but salons will be paid on monthly, etc basis for longer works like drama filmings.

- Most aren't sponsored, the work is paid for, but popular stars usually get bigger discounts.

- CF shoots are the most expensive, costing between ~$3,000-5,000 USD per day. More famous make up artists and hair designers will obviously charge more. For pictorials, the ad agency will usually cover the costs instead of the star's agency. For dramas, the agencies cover it, while for movies, the production company will cover it.

- For drama filmings, stars will get in the salon by early morning and have a director-level stylist do everything, then have one staff member follow the star on to the film set to do touch ups.

- For movie filmings, it depends on whether the role calls for special costume make up. If it's a modern film, the star will just use their regular salon, but for historical concepts, they'll use a costume make up team contracted by the producers. Same goes for horror films, etc.

- Salons will follow stars to overseas pictorials and filmings. Most magazines will have collaborations with specific designers but other than that, stars get to choose the salons they take. Some will take the director of the salon but most will ask for the one staff that they've worked with on set all day as a sign of gratitude for the work they've done all along.

- All of the members in idol groups get styled by the same salon other than older idols who choose separate salons they're more comfortable with. Idols are the same as actresses in that they head to the salons to start their day but work with 2-3 more staff throughout their day for touch ups. (usually 2-3 is the norm for groups of 5 members)

- The salon's head designer will be a part of the group's concept design, joining the group for album jacket filmings and MV filmings. Directors will also join idols for concerts or fan meets.
