  1. Done watching Eps 7 and 8. That was unexpected JBC not a real Jang. Even KPJ did not see that coming. JBC you peanut! How could you do that to NMH! I don't feel sorry for you, PJ teach him and mistress a lesson. This time KPJ be NMH's friend and support for once!

I don't think he did the act with JMR. He merely closed the door so she can sleep or probably just wanted him there until she falls asleep :D.

And NMH, you go girl! Show this people who played you for a fool they are messing with the wrong girl. Sorry but not sorry, that includes KPJ too.

Hoping no tragic ending for KPJ still.

  2. @2handsintertwined No worries. I don't think you are a trouble maker...people are just not accepting when your views differ from theirs. Personally? it's good to hear someone else's POV...no two individual can think alike 100%. For example, some of us here likes a certain haircut or hair colour on WY, which I don't :D OR Seyoung's acting might look awkward to some but for me it's fine...but we respect each other's opinion and don't insist on it and criticize the shipper who thought otherwise..

No Wooyoung is my only biase. I just thought Chansung is very good looking and Junho's acting is awesome

  3. @2handsintertwined Sorry to hear about your experience from other forums...we assure you that won’t happen here...I’m proud to say that we are really welcoming to everyone who loves WY and  SY...hang out with us. We don’t limit ourselves to the topics on our favourite 2PM and leading lady.

@yun84 I am waiting for my friends fanfic too. She is a little busy at the moment with work and other commitments but once she gets the time, it will be here in lightning speed! Glad to see you again.

We are busy on the weekends watching Money Flower. Episode 5 & 6 were really awesome! @Gerry58 and @chic-chic noticed SY's beautiful legs too, especially when she wore the black dress.Too bad that scene in her wet suit talking to JH didn't really show much but all the same it's obvious she has a great figure. SY and JYP artist really have some connections:heart:

  4. @Gerry58 I don’t want Seyoung retiring even if she gets married. I still want her to be in dramas with or without a love interest, with or without kissing scenes. But while single (I hope she isn’t) I’d like her to kiss single good looking actors until she finds her prince :D

As of Wooyoung, I still love him and buy his songs whether as 2PM or as single artist. I am forever a fan. If only Seoul and Japan doesn’t take me 11- 12 hrs flight, I’d probably be watching all his shows.

Oh, I’m still in for the gathering in Seoul if we get a dating announcement from YY couple, by the way..:D

  5. Yes @Gerry58 her accessories vary. Like her watches range from Gucci to Disney brand. I agree with what you said about kissing scene, it adds viewership. There is nothing more annoying when a romantic scene comes on, mood is all set yet all they do is hold hands! Though it’s a drama but still it needs a touch of reality to it. How can a man like JBC resist kissing a pretty girl  NMHY who’s openly expressing her feelings to him? All the kissing scenes were done artistically. At least she didn’t say if a girl closes her eyes, it means she wants you to kiss her (I hated Wooyoung for ignoring SY’s signal during WGM :D at the pension) @elenskivios38 not to worry, I’m sure WY got to kiss a lot more than Seyoung privately being in few relationships...hers is more for part of the job. Who knows, we might get a similar torrid kiss scenes from the drama ‘The Package’ from Seyoung and Hyuk -ie. The man knows how to kiss well too...just to make Wooyoung jealous :D:rolleyes:

    Good weekend YY Nation

Tonight will be tuning in to watch Sy's drama. Also hope to see her in wedding gown. She will be so beautiful

This week so many bad news- Suzy's breakup, kangin's fighting- in a way I am glad wy and sy staying quiet. No dating news for both cos Korean celebs don't last long. Very sad, especially breakup while the guy in military.

Now only watching Money Flower and witch court (so far both good)

@Gerry58 That is sad, break ups are always sad..but I don’t understand why going into the army seems to be the trend amongst celebrities? Two years is nothing if they truly love each other. I mean, it’s like they are only together for the good times? It’s not like the men are going to another country and be incarcerated for two years. When I was in Seoul, I saw a lot of men in their uniforms in subways, catching trains.

The latest celebrity break up was announced on the last episode of her drama.I reckon they already broke up days leading to his enlistment. It’s all about timing. Jong Won and Boa too?

Wooyoung and Seyoung really we’re together (our theories only) and broke up, I’m glad it was all kept away from the press...

I’ve just watched episode 3 only. I felt so sorry for KPJ throughout the episode. He looked so heart broken whenever NMH was with JBC. When JBC told him he is going to sleep with NMH tonight, KPJ got onto the car and that change in his facial expression, you can see him turning red. Red with anger or jealousy. I don’t know how to do GIF, u guys should have caught it.

    JH is an amazing actor!

Yes, I noted that too @kohnlee..That was an amazing acting by Jang Hyuk..

KPJ - when he is with NMY or sees her though he tries not be swayed, but his own self is his worst enemy. I just hope it will not be a tragic ending for him...

That underwater scene of Park Seyoung was impressive! How can she hold her breath for that long? I know it was edited...but, sitting at the bottom of the pool? I wonder how many times she has to go in and out from there too. JH and PSJ probably feel sorry watching her while they’re both in the dry and dressed in suits. Well done Seyoung- ie!

  8. @Gerry58 and @chic-chic Ep 4 of Money Flower was even better! I’m glad to see how subtle KPJ show his concern towards NMY, before it even happened I had a feeling that it was KPJ who left that envelope at the school for NMH to see, to keep JBC on his toes (part of his manipulation) but he couldn’t help feeling sorry for her. Now it’s all ‘wait and see’ how the next weeks episodes leads us..

Kudos to Park Seyoung! How can she hold her breath underwater for that long! The two mean are dry in their suits while she is under 5 meter deep pool...she looked great in that wet suit too! The place where the three leads had a drink...it looked like The LP place WY hangs out?

    By the way, ***I need a JH-PSY kissing scene director-nim...cough,cough…. :D:tongue:

    Chapter Nineteen

“The last meeting for today Sir is at 3.30pm.” Hyung Sang Woo told me.“Let’s take thirty.” I looked at my watch, I have an hour to kill until the next one.

“What do you like for a drink Sir.” Hyung asked. “Apple juice please.” I checked my mobile phone and saw Emily’s messages, asking if I am free tomorrow night to meet her friends. It’s only early days but she seem to be rushing on getting me tied down with her. I had to cancel the last date because we are closing to the launch of the first single Junho, Nick and I are co-producing. I do like Emily but juggling my schedule at current time and dating her is a little bit hard to balance. And one thing I never like in women is when they start to become too clingy for comfort.

“Your drink Sir.” He placed a tall glass of apple juice on the coffee table.

“Have you seen Park Seyoung recently?” I asked  Hyung.

    “Yes, Sir.” He briefly answered.

“She’s alright I assume?” Sad that I have to ask my personal assistant about her, when all I could do was pick up the phone and tell her to come up.”Hyung.Please call Park Seyoung to come and see me now.”

“Right now, Sir?” He sounded surprised with my request.

    “Yes please.” I confirmed.

“Okay Mr. Vice President.” He stood up and went out to make the call. After a couple of minutes, Hyung confirmed she is on her way up. I quickly went to the bathroom and looked at myself on the mirror. Fixed my tie and hair and quickly rinsed my mouth with a mouthwash. Then I paused and thought why am I doing this? I washed my hand, dried them and went to sit on my desk, facing the window.

“Park Seyoung is here to see you Mr Vice President.” I turned around acknowledging her arrival. “Hyung if you can please get Park Seyoung-shi a drink.” He nodded and left.

“Good afternoon Mr Vice President.” She looked radiant in pale blue top and loose fitting black square pants and flat shoes, the colour matched her pants. Her straight hair is shorter, reaching to her shoulder. She is prettier without her glasses on. Her cheeks have a soft blush of pink.

“You wanted to see me Sir.” Park Seyoung said.

“How are you?” I asked. I couldn’t keep my eyes off her. “You look different without your glasses. I mean that in a good way.” I said.

“I’m well. Thank you Sir.” She answered. ”I’m wearing contact leanses.” Hyung came in bringing her a cup of tea. She thanked him before he left.

“You can talk comfortably to me. It’s not like we are strangers. We’ve established some sort of relationship before you knew who I was.” I told her.

“Fine. I’ll speak to you in comfort.” She said then took a deep breath before speaking again.”I will tell you honestly. After learning you are the VP of this company. I am finding it really uncomfortable because of what happened. But in a way, I was glad that you are who you are and not some jerk I happen to meet in a bar. It can’t be helped that we are in this situation, so I am doing my best to be professional at all cost. The last two weeks have been very tough for me but I need to make a decision. At the end of the week, I am handing in my resignation.” Seyoung said.

“Resigning? For what reason?” Surprised with what she said.

“Did you not hear what I just said?” Seyoung answered.

“I heard what you said. But I don’t see the logic why you have to leave? No one really knows what happened that night or the second time.” I told her.

“It is for the best. Sir.” Seyoung replied, her head low refusing to look at me this time.

“Park Seyoung. Do I have to ask you again to look at me when I talk to you?” I reminded her. “Wait. Are you crying?” I asked when I heard a sob.

“If there’s nothing else you want from me. I’d like to go back to work. Sir.” She quickly stood up but I stopped her.

“Is there something you’re not telling me?” I asked her. “Look at me for God’s sake!” I held her face up to look at me. “I can’t.” She said in half-whisper.

“What do you mean you can’t?” I asked her again. “Tell me!”

“I’m pregnant!” She said. My hand fell from her face, stepping back. “I’m pregnant.” Pregnant? No. That is not right. I heard it wrong.

“How did that happen? Are you sure it’s mine?” Giving her a questioning look. The sting on my cheek where her palm landed heavily, brought me to my senses.

“Yes. It’s not yours because I sleep with every man I meet in the bar. So don’t worry, this child is mine.” The next thing I heard was the door closing when Park Seyoung left.

    Chapter Twenty

I chased after Park Seyoung when she came out half running from the VP’s office. I had a bad feeling when he asked her to see him, it will turn out this way. She headed to the Fire Exit instead of the lift.

“Park Seyoung-shi! Wait!” I grabbed hold of her arm when I finally caught her.

“Let me go!” Trying to get herself out from my hold. “Leave me alone!” I held her in my arms, trying to calm her down. She broke out into a sob, her face on my chest, her legs giving away so I slowly sat her down on the steps.

“Sshh. It’s okay.” I whispered, rubbing her back gently. “You did well by telling him.” The phone on my pocket was buzzing. It was the Vice President.

“Yes, Mr Vice President.” I answered.

“Please cancel my 3.30 meeting. Just tell them I have an emergency situation.” VP ordered. “Where are you?”

“I am downstairs. Sir. I will be back shortly. I will make that phone call now.” Then I hanged up. I quickly made the call, with Park Seyoung crying in my arms. After a while, she lifted her face, all wet from the tears. I took my handkerchief and patted her cheeks dry. She took it from me then blowed her nose on it.

“I need to go back to work. Thank you. ” She said getting up starting to go down the stairs.

“Go home.” Seyoung refused, saying she will be fine but I insisted. “Did you drive to work?” She nodded. “Wait for me.” I said as we walked to her floor.

                                                            ===============

“When you mentioned Park Seyoung to me the other night. Did you know already?” I asked Hyung when he returned to my office.

“No Sir. But I had my suspicion.” He replied. “How?” He told me about their chance meeting at a pharmacy.

“But she denied it, Sir” Hyung added. “When I asked her about it.”

“You mean you saw her again after that?” Hyung nodded yes.

“We live in the same neighbourhood. I only found out recently, she buys meat from my Mom’s shop. I tried to convince her to tell you.” Hyung said.

“You lived in the same neighbourhood?” Another surprising information. “Is that why she decided to tell me today?”

“No, Sir. What happened today was unplanned. She told me to mind my own business.” Hyung said.

“Did you know she was resigning?”Hyung looked surprised, he had no idea either. My hands are covering my face now, completely dumbfounded with what I found out today. “Do me a favour Hyung. Can you please make sure, she gets home safe?”

“Will do, Mr Vice President.” Hyung said and turned to leave.

    Chapter Twenty-One

“Say that again?” Junho said in total shock when I told him of the news. Nick is just making his way to join us at the recording studio. “You are going to be a Dad? Who?” I told him about Park Seyoung.

“How could this thing happen? Don’t you carry condoms in your pocket? That is the rule. The only rule!” Junho showing me what he meant, flashing two packets he dug out from his jeans pocket. “You’re not even dating the woman! You don’t sleep around, man. You were never the type, unless she is your girlfriend. Or is she?”

“No.” I said, gulping down my whiskey in one shot.

“Are you sure it’s yours? It’s one night stand.” But I looked at Junho. “No?” I nodded. Junho opened his mouth but couldn’t say nothing.

“She works at the company.” I added. “I only found out later.”

“What did I miss?” Nick finally came. Junho told him the story, as expected, he is not anymore shocked than I am right now.

“What are you going to do? You’ll try to stop her from resigning and deal with the consequences? In few weeks her bump will show. She’s actually doing you a favour man. And there’s your Dad too.” Nick said.

“What is your plan? Get married?” Junho asked.

“Marriage isn’t always the solution.” Nick told Junho. “What about Emily?”

“I went out with her twice. That’s about it.” I said.

“You slept with the baby’s Mom twice.” Nick added.

“You are not really helping, Nick.” I said.

“I’m just saying.” Nick said, patting my shoulder.

“Well, that is not what I heard from the grape vine.” Junho said.

“What do you mean?” I asked him.

“You know how sometimes girls gossip. My sister asked me if I know about you dating Emily. I told her there was no mention on your part that you are ‘dating’ her except that you went for dinner a couple of times.” Junho explained, my phoned buzzed. It was Emily again. She’s been calling me all afternoon.

“Speak of the devil herself.” Junho said. I turned my phone off completely.

I went to Park Seyung’s apartment after meeting Nick and Junho. I’ve been ringing her phone in the last hour, but she’s not picking up. I waited patiently outside of the building, until I saw a lady going in to her apartment building and took the opportunity to get in.

“How did you get here?” Seyoung asked when she opened the door.

“That is not important. Can I come in? We need to talk.” I said.

“I think were done talking.” Seyoung replied firmly.

“Maybe for you. But not me.” I insisted. “Please.” She looked at me for a moment before opening the door wider allowing me in.

“Well?” Seyoung turned to face me, arms across her chest. Seyoung looked like a high schooler rather than a soon to be Mom with her freshly scrubbed face, dressed in short pink striped pyjamas and a matching dressing gown.

“May I?” She pointed her head to the couch and sat down. “I need to know what are your plans. I mean with…the baby.”

“I do have plans but that doesn’t include you.” She replied in sarcasm.“You don’t have the final say on this matter, you know. I am half responsible to this.” I told her. “Am I not allowed to feel this way? Look. I am not downplaying how you felt after finding out you’re pregnant. But It is the same for me too. How did you expect me to react? Like, ‘Oh yeah, I am going to be a Dad. Great! See you later?’. You think I was going to say that? I mean, after that last time, we were virtually strangers again. Yes, we work in the same company, but we never see each other.” I stood up, faced the balcony in frustration. I put both hands to my hip. “It hasn’t completely sunk in yet, but I am accepting reality and coming to terms with it. There is only one solution I can think of.” I said, turning around to face Seyoung.  “Let’s get married.”

  10. I love the the first two episodes! It does have that dark, sad, revenge plot to it...who knows how the story will unfold...KPJ knows NMH rescued him out of the water. Only NMH is unaware of the manipulation going on around her...but I guess, overtime there might be a fierce side of her emerging when truth about her ‘happy ever after’ was controlled by people including her father...Though he may appear like a stalker (for obvious reasons), but I can see the tenderness in his eyes, even smiled, watching NMH in her vulnerable (drunken) state. When she touched his face...even responding to her babbles...looking forward to next 22 episode!

Park Seyoung truly deserving of female lead. Good actress with very beautiful visuals...Jang Hyuk is oozing with charisma...as always:wub:

    Chapter Fifteen

It has been over two months since I took over the position as Vice President. After meeting with Park Seyoung’s team, there were only two occasions that our paths have crossed. The first was when I went down one day to try out the cafeteria food with Hyung for lunch. I was on a queue waiting to be served when I saw her with a food tray looking for an empty table to sit. She walked past us briefly acknowledging me with a bow like all other employee that saw me. The second time was a week later, I left work a little late and she was at the nearby bus stop when my car have driven past, I wasn’t sure if she saw me. Or maybe she did. I was either busy with company matters or out doing other business with Junho and Nick. We are getting all the preparations ready for our first venture as music producers. Our target launch is in two months, for a singer we have picked amongst the top ten choices. It was also good for my two buddies after another failed attempt to date. After that incident in the restaurant, they’ve completely cut any communication with the two women. Min Young and Se Rah tried calling, asking them what happened. Nick and Junho told them they were too busy to see them. The last time they heard, Min Young, Doo Nah and Se Rah were hanging out with sport celebrities. I’m glad, my life isn’t as complicated as I thought it would be after the brief involvement with Seyoung.

“Come see me in my office.” Father said when I answered my office phone. Literally a man of few words. A trait I didn’t inherit from Dad. People may see him as one ruthless business man, but to his family and very close friends who knows him well, he is a good person and have my full respect.

“Yes, Dad. You wanted to see me.” I asked the moment I got to his office, he was signalling me to sit down.

“Are you dating someone at the moment?” He asked. I have a feeling where this question leads to.

“No. Wae Dad?” He rarely ask these kind of question, regarding my personal life but when he does it means something is on.

“I need you to meet someone. A girl. Daughter of one of my business acquaintance. See if you’ll get along okay.” He said.

I can only give my Dad a questioning look. We’ve made an agreement when I turned eighteen that he will not interfere with whom I should marry or date, provided I promise to take over the company when time comes. And my Dad have been true to his word. Hence, I got to date anyone I like provided they are educated and have good family background. But to be honest, the only good family background I know of, are within the circle I move around, people with money.

“I know. But just give this a try. Meet this girl. Look, you will be thirty in few months. Don’t you think it’s about time you get serious when it comes to relationship?” He added.

“Why all of a sudden Dad?” I asked him.

“I am not telling you to get married right away. I just need you to take a different approach on relationship.” Dad explained. “You are not getting younger and I’m getting older.”

“No expectations?” I asked. Dad shook his head no. As we do when we make a father and son deal, it was sealed with a hand shake.

                                          =============

I am Jo Sang Woo, best known as Personal Assistant to the company’s Vice President. I have always been focused on doing well in school growing up until I finished my degree in Business. Having lost my father when I was only fifteen, I took on the responsibility as head of household and look after my Mom and younger brother. My Mom’s hard work in running a small meat shop from a nearby market and my part time jobs earnings together paid off my college fees. After working in a small company for three years. I was lucky to be offered a position after rigid screening and panel interviews. My employment have strict confidentiality clause, meaning I can’t disclose any personal information about my boss to anybody, including my family. My Mom only know, I work for a conglomerate but not as personal assistant to the heir of the conglomerate. I first met Park Seyoung when I went for corporate training, a couple of months before the new VP started. I also see her in the cafeteria at lunch time either with her team or just by herself. A couple of times, I purposely would sit across the table she was seated, but she is often busy talking to someone or simply eating quietly by herself. We never formally say greetings to each other. But I was surprised when I saw her that night with the VP coming out from the bar. When I asked Mr VP if they are together, he said they are not. Since then, I haven’t seen them together again until that official meeting with Training Department and one accidental meeting when the VP joined me to have lunch at the company cafeteria. Driving her back to her apartment the morning after she stayed with the VP was an easy one, because I live in the same neighbourhood.

    Chapter Sixteen

“Are you okay Noona?” Dok Yung asked. When he saw me nodding my head off while getting myself coffee from the staff kitchen. “Did you have a late night out?”

Aissh. Senja! What do you mean a late night out. Did you forget? We left the BBQ place same time last night? Did you think I went for another round somewhere?” I told him off.

“You are the beer or soju queen in the team but you only had ice water with a lemon wedge. I wondered why so I thought you did.” Dok Yung remarked.

“Yeah. I just didn’t feel like drinking last night. But I enjoyed the pork belly.” I said, smiling at him.

“Yes. You ate them like there was no tomorrow. Two servings easy.” Do Kyung told me. And I think he was right. It’s not like I don’t like pork belly but I always prefer beef over them. And lately, I’ve been off soju and beer. The taste and smell of it makes my stomach queasy. It’s like my body is just rejecting it. The last week, I’ve been struggling to get up each morning even when I go to bed early the night before. I really need to see a doctor, I’m sure this is a sign of early menopausal.

Noona when we finish work later. Let’s go for a round tonight.” Do Kyung suggested.

“You want to die? Are you suffering from dementia or something? You forgot we have one more training scheduled for tomorrow.” Reminding him.

“Sorry. I briefly forgot about that.” He said, scratching his head. After Do Kyung left, I gave out another yawn and it’s only ten in the morning. We have been very busy in the last few weeks. Too busy to even think of the Vice President. The most I saw of him after he came to meet the entire Training Department was a chance encounter at the cafeteria. I went straight to my parent’s house after work. Over dinner she begged me to meet Jihoon again. Mom wasn’t giving up until I promised to give it a second thought. My eldest sister and her kids happened to be there as well.

“Seyoung-ah, eat slowly. You looked like you haven’t eaten for days.” Big s ister told me. I only noticed it when she said it. I literally was shoving the braised pork ribs Mom made into my mouth, when I saw the pile of bones in a bowl next to my plate.

“Just let her. She misses her Mom’s cooking.” My Dad said. Even putting more meat to my plate, his way of saying he misses me.

Kenchana. I cooked plenty so that you can eat as many as you like.” Mom added, waving her hands to me to eat more.

“If I don’t know you have no boyfriend, I’ll probably think you are eating for two.” My sister said. The bone I was munching on fell on my plate with a clang with what she just said.

“Unnie!” I exclaimed. “How can you say that?”

“Why? I was only kidding.” My sister defended. “Mianhe.” She quickly apologized.

“Hey. Stop it and finish your dinner.” My Dad said.

With a baby? Hah! I thought. That is impossible! But then again, it is not. How long has it been since the last night? Two? Three months? Oh no! The thoughts playing in my head over and over again as I was driving back to my apartment. I was in a panic! So for my peace of mind. I dropped by a pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test home kit. I went straight into the aisle where they are displayed. I couldn’t believe how many choices they are! Undecided, I bought three from different brands, when I heard someone calling my name. ”Park Seyoung-shi?” When I turned to look, it was Sang Woo, Jang Wooyoung’s assistant. And a packet of pregnancy test kit fell on the ground.

“Here. You dropped this.” Giving Park Seyoung the packet. I saw her walked into the pharmacy as I waiting for my Mom’s medications to be dispensed. She asked me this morning to pick it up on my way from work. Seyoung went from aisle to aisle looking for something, then stopped at the women’s section. I walked over to the counter when Mom’s name was called. On the way, I saw her walking towards same direction as I am, while looking at the items she had on her hands. I needed to call her attention otherwise she would have bumped into me. I must have startled her because I saw the surprise look in her face seeing me and dropped one packet on the ground. I quickly picked it up to hand it to her.

Gamsahamida.” She replied after quickly taking it from my hand. I signalled her to go first and pay for her purchases. Seyoung bowed again and stood in front of me on the queue just then another chemist came so we stood next to each to pay and left after bidding her goodnight. A car was partly blocking mine, so I rang the number displayed on the dashboard for the owner. I could hear a sound of the phone ringing, then a female voice answered. It was Seyoung, she was only few steps away from me walking towards where I was standing.

“I’m sorry. Is this your car?” She asked pointing at my black Toyota Corolla.

    “Yes.” I said.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t realize it. I was rushing before the pharmacy closes.” She apologized, looking quickly inside her bag to get the car keys.

“It’s okay. I’m not in a rush.” I said to her. “You remember me, right?”

“Of course, I do. You are the VP’s assistant.” She replied, still looking for the keys. “You live around here too Sang Woo-shi?” She remembered my name.

“Yes.” I said. She finally found her car keys. Waving it in the air in relief. “See you around then. Goodnight.” Then she hopped into her car and droved off.

    Chapter Seventeen

“Would you like to order some dessert?” I asked Emily. She is the girl Dad was telling me about. decided to meet her for dinner a week after we had that talk. Emily is only a year younger than me. Pretty, confident and smart. Youngest of the three daughters. Did her post graduate studies overseas and recently returned home three months ago.

“No. I’m good. But I’ll have coffee. Thank you.” Emily replied. I ordered two for both of us. “You are not dating anyone?”

“No. I’m not.” I replied, looking at her. “Would you date me then?” She asked directly. I was somehow expecting this.

“I won’t answer that with either yes or no.” I told her honestly. “That’s not being fair.” She replied back. “What makes you say that?” I asked. “Because if you ask me right now if I will date you. My answer is yes.”She said. “You’ve only known me for two hours, to be exact. How can you say you already want to date me.” I asked back. “I might have a dark side, you know.”

“Do you?” Emily asked. “That makes you even more interesting.”

“Really?” I said half-laughing. Over all her company was fun. She isn’t restrained with her opinion on different matters. And I like that in women.

“Mr Vice President. Should I take you home now or you want to go elsewhere.” Hyung asked, he came to pick me ups after dinner.

“I’ll go home.” I said. “Dinner was good though.”

“That’s good to hear Mr. Vice President.” Hyung replied. “I saw Park Seyoung-shi the other night.” He said all of a sudden.

“Park Seyoung?” I clarified. “Why you suddenly mentioned her?”

“No particular reason, Mr Vice President. I just thought I’d mention it. That’s all.” Hyung said.

“How is she?” I suddenly got curious.

“She looks well. We only talked briefly. Then she went.” Hyung answered. And I left it like that.

                                         ============

I looked at the black and white ultrasound print in my hand. I have been sitting in my car the last half an hour, staring at it. “Congratulations. You are eight weeks pregnant.” The doctor’s words playing in my head on repeat. I knew he used protection, well I thought he did. A man like him wouldn’t be this careless. Ottoke! These home pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate, I told myself earlier. According to my research there is small percentage that they will show false positive results. A blood test and ultrasound is always the best way to confirm pregnancy. So I went on the net and searched for an OB/GYN centre to book myself an appointment. My baby. Right. I am going to be a Mom now. This tiny life living inside of me, I am loving him or her already. But my mind is in turmoil. Should I let the Vice President know? Or should I leave the company? I need to tell my parents too. How? That I got myself knocked up by some stranger? By the way, he is the Vice President of the company I work for. But the love for this baby growing inside me outweighs the challenges I might face ahead. I will protect this child, no matter what.

“Hi Mom.” I greetd when she answered the phone. “Are you and Dad home?”

“I am at home but Dad isn’t in yet.” She answered. “Are you alright? You’re not sick are you?” If there is one person in the world who knows me best. It is Mom.

“Ani. I’m okay. I’ll see you and Dad at six.” Then I hanged up. I had to bite my lower lip to stifle a cry. I may have disappointed my parents because of my idiosyncrasies growing up but I never disappointed my parents like I will be now. This is going to break their hearts.

    Chapter Eighteen

“I’m sorry Mom. Dad. For disappointing you.” I said between tears, kneeling in front of them.

“Get up. Why do you have to kneel.” My Dad said, bending down to help me stand. And like what he used to do when I cry as kid, he wiped my tears and kiss me on the forehead. “It’s okay. I am not angry at you. Surprised. Yes but not angry. It’s not good for the baby.”

“My baby. You’re going to be a Mom.” Mom said, drawing me into her arms.

“You should be angry at me. Because of the shame I brought to our family.” I said.

“Are we in Jeoson era to worry about what people say? What do you mean shame? A child is a blessing not a burden or cause shame. Remember that.” Dad reassured me.

“But you never mentioned about a boyfriend. Who is the father? Does he know?” Mom asked. I shook my head no.

“He’s a good guy. A colleague.” Well, that was half true. “You need to tell him. He has the right to know.” Dad said. I wish I can tell my parents it is not that simple. I can only nod my head. “If he will acknowledge his child, that’s good. But if he doesn’t. It will be his loss.”

I’m glad it went well. Telling my parents about my pregnancy. It is only right to love this baby the way my parents have given me love and support all these years. Though my Mom asked me to stay the night, I refused. I just want to be alone and think things through but an unexpected visitor awaits me when I got home. Sang Woo was waiting at the gate of my apartment complex. I opened my car window to greet him.

    “Hello Seyoung-shi.” He greeted back.

“Why are you here?” I asked.

“Can I talk to you? “ He asked. I move to park my car and got out and went to sit on a bench not far from the parking area.

“How can I help you?” I asked him.

“I will apologise ahead if I may sound intruding with your personal life.” Sang Woo said. This doesn’t sound good.”Mr Vice President is seeing a woman that his father wanted him to meet. He Has been meeting her twice already.” He said.

“Why are you telling me this. I’ve got nothing to do with him.” I said.

“The other night at the pharmacy. You bought pregnancy test kits, right?” Sang Woo said, that took me by only half surprise. I had a feeling he saw what I bought.

“Don’t misunderstand. It wasn’t for me.” I denied. I have to.

“Then why looked so guilty if it wasn’t for you.” Sang Woo replied back.

“Guilty or not. It is none of your business.” I said looking at him.

“It is. Because I like you Park Seyoung-shi.” He said.

    “What?” I asked in surprise.

“I said. I like you Park Seyoung.” He repeated. Loud and clear.

“This conversation is finished.” I said then walked away. I don’t need another complication right now.

“My feelings aside. The Vice President has the right to know.” I turned around and walked back to where he was after hearing that.

“Right to know what?” I asked my eyes bigger with anger towards him.

“That you are carrying his child.” He said it. “Regardless of what you think about him. The Vice President is a good man.” I looked at him, angry tears streaming down my cheeks. He took a handkerchief from his trouser pocket and wiped my tears. I grabbed it and sat down on the bench and cried those tears I held back. The tears I couldn’t cry in front of my parents. But why am I crying in front of this man?

“How can you like someone like me? Pregnant with your boss’s child? By the looks of you, you seem to be a good person.” I told him after I calmed down.

“Don’t worry about my feelings. I’ll take care of it.” Sang Woo said. “Just take care of yours.” I am now both laughing and crying with what he just said. Is this man for real?

“Let me tell you a story. Mom told me that there is this pretty lady who always come to her shop and buy beef. Mom said, she is really pretty, very nice and funny. She told my Mom that her beef is the best amongst others. Mom has grown very fond of her. So she always set aside her favourite beef. One day, this lady came and bought pork belly instead of the usual beef. She asked the lady why she is buying pork instead. The lady told her, the smell of beef is turning her off lately, and suddenly been craving for pork. Mom told me that night, she might be pregnant because she was like that when she was pregnant with me and my brother. One weekend, I helped Mom in her meat shop, hoping to meet this lady she was referring to. It was you. After you left, Mom told me you were the lady she was talking about. When I saw you coming I hid behind the counter so you won’t see me.” Sang Woo said.

“Are you Eunhye Ahjumma’s son?” Surprised to know that. ”Yes. She did tell me her son works for a large company.” I said. “Hang on. Do you live in this neighbourhood?” I asked.

“Yes. Just two streets away from here.” Sang Woo confirmed.

    Chapter Twelve

I felt a pang of jealousy watching Park Seyoung having dinner with another man. Not only that, she seemed to genuinely enjoying his company. When she looked up and caught me watching them, I can only nod and walked back to our table to deal with the three cunning women who thought can charm their way through to us with their superficial appearances. They are wrong.

“That trip took you a while.” Nick asked when I sat down.

“Sorry, I was checking how my stocks were doing in the market. And they looked good.” I said to Nick.

“Well it better be because I’ve put few thousands on that.” Junho added. “I know it is only spare change to you but I am not as well off as you and Nick are.”

“It’s okay Wooyoung. I can live loosing that money. Junho, let me know if you get stuck. That’s what friends do.” Nick said patting Junho’s shoulder.

I can see how the three women giving each other meaningful look and smiling. Their eyes flashing Won signs. When Park Seyoung left the washroom, I immediately sent Nick and Junho a text message telling them of what I heard.

“So you are into stock investments too?” Fake No 1 Minyoung asked Nick.

“Just for fun really. Wooyoung is the genius. He is into everything that can make money.” Nick replied. Of course, that was also a fake statement.

“Where did you invest all those money?” Fake No 2 Se Rah asked as well.

“In the oil market.” Junho answered. Flashing a fake smile to his date.

“Doo Nah. Are you not interested about business? You have been fairly quiet.” I asked Fake No 3. Her acting demure and being prim makes me want to puke.

“No. I don’t really know anything about stock market.” Was her fake answer.

“Man, I got to go. I’m beat. I’ll take care of the bill.” I said. I just can’t stand being with these women anymore. ”Good night ladies.” I stood up shook Nick and Junho’s hand and left them. I can see the disappointment on Fake No 3’s face. Seyoung and her date was still in the restaurant but instead of leaving, I went to where they are seated. She can see me approaching, her eyes getting bigger as I walked closer towards them.

“Seyoung-ah.” I said when I reached their table. “Nice to see you here.” She immediately stood up to greet me.

“Hi. Good to see you too.” She said. “This is Jay a friend. Jay this is Jihoon.” Jay? How did I become Jay? Right, it was the name I’ve entered on her phone the other night. She doesn’t know my real name. Jihoon stood up and shook my hand. Seeing him up close even made my blood boil. Her date is taller than me and as good looking as my friend Nick. How can she meet someone after spending a passionate night with me not long ago? Huh!

“Nice to meet you, Jay.” Jihoon replied after shaking my hand.

“Jihoon, can I just speak to Seyoung for a sec?” I asked him.

“Sure.” Jihoon answered. I held Seyoung’s elbow and walked few tables away from him.

“What are you doing?” Seyoung asked, looking annoyed. Her back facing Jihoon on purpose.

“Give me your number.” I asked, taking my phone out from my suit jacket.

“Why?” Seyoung asked. Refusing to give in.

“You know why. Come on.” I asked again giving her my best smile. “Please.”

“No.” She said firmly, glaring at me.

“No? Okay. I can just go back to your date and tell him what happened to us two nights ago. Either that or give me your number. Your choice.” Half threatening her.

She only looked at me and saw her dialling Mr J on her phone. “Happy?”

“Thank you.” I said after saving her number. “Your date is waiting.” Walking her back to her table.

“Thanks again Jihoon. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Park Seyoung?” I left after bidding them goodnight.

    Chapter Thirteen

I dropped my purse on the bed, sat down and rubbed my sore ankles from wearing those heels. The encounter with Mr J tonight was the tipping point for me. How can I forget him when he turns up wherever I go? I enjoyed Jihoon’s company. He was smart and charming. I thought I really wanted to give him a chance. But when he asked if I can see him again, I made lame excuses about business trips and projects keeping me occupied the entire next week and will just let our Moms know when to set for another date. I even refused his offer to drop me home. The less he knows about me, the better. I feel it’s not right to be involved with him when two nights ago, I spent the night with another man. I was about to get up when I heard my phone buzzing. It was Mr J.

“Why are you calling me?” Was my greeting to him.

“I’m outside. Can you come down?” He said.

“What do you mean you are outside?” I asked again.

“I’m at the gate of your apartment building.” He said.

“Why are you here this late at night?.” I asked again.

“We need to talk.” He said. “Please.” He wants to talk? About what?

“I’m coming down.” I don’t even know why I agreed for this talk. Put a light jacket on and went down to meet him. “How did you remember my address.” I asked when I got there.

“I have a sharp memory.” He replied. “How was your date?”

“It was alright.” I said. “What is it that you wanted to talk about?”

“Something happened that disappointed me tonight.” I looked at him when I heard what he said.

“I thought you were dining with friends. Did you not talk to them about it? Why see me?” I got curious.

“Because we are going through the same ordeal. Someone outside the circle can probably give us a better opinion.” He is sounding deeper than I thought he was.

“Is it bad?” I asked, now feeling a bit sorry for him.

“No. Not really. But enough to upset me.” He said. His head bent low.

“You are not a stalker or anything right?” I asked him out of nowhere.

“Park Seyoung. I have my flaws but I am a decent person. Stalker? Really? And why are you asking suddenly out of the blue?” My question took him by surprise as well.

“It’s just that, I’m getting cold and my legs are tired. I think it would be better if we talk inside rather than out here.” I told him honestly. Rubbing my arms to warm myself.

“I can stand in front of the CCTV camera if you want so I can be easily identified. If that will put your mind at ease.”

“Let’s go.” I agreed to his suggestion. And walked towards my apartment building.

“I was only joking!” He said, following me behind. When we got in the elevator, I made him stand facing the CCTV camera all the way up to my apartment which he obliged, and pointed to where all the cameras are along the corridors. But in reality it was so hard to control the sexual tension building inside me being that close to him. What is it with this man I just couldn’t resist!

“Come in.” I invited him, but he stopped at the door. “Why are you not coming?” I asked.

“Because if I take another step. You know what’s going to happen, right? And I don’t mean talking.” Mr J said. He felt it too.

I looked at him, trying to read his mind. I understood what he meant. “I know.” Was the only answer I gave him. Two steps forward and we were kissing. Like hungry animals feasting on its prey. The sexual tension on the rise at rapid rate filled the whole room. I wanted him. He wanted me. We were pulling each other’s jacket off. I was working on the buttons of his shirt, he was reaching for the zipper of my dress while none of us breaking the kiss. He lifted me up, I wrapped my legs around his hip for support, arms around his neck. His arms on my back, holding me tight keeping me as close as he can to him.

“The bedroom?” He asked briefly between kisses. “End of corridor.” I said, kissing his cheeks, nose, eyes. Anywhere I could touch my lips on. When he laid me down in bed, he looked at me. “Are you sure about this?” He asked. “Yes.” I nodded. And he started kissing me again and did more than that.

    Chapter Fourteen

I decided to drive for work today, being the start of the week. I expect traffic all the way. I got up at the usual time, shower and got dressed. I try to come early to prepare for the meeting with the new Vice President at eleven.  Actually, I’m also trying to leave the events of the last few days. I know, I did a lot of crazy things but not to the degree of sleeping twice with someone I barely know. Park Seyoung! You’ve really done it silly! Banging my hand on the steering wheel. The morning went smoothly despite the usual manic Mondays. The weekly brainstorming with the team, looking at ways to improve training strategies to make it more interesting and fun. The phone calls to be returned from other departments and so on, and so forth. Then it was time to meet the new Vice President. It was bizarre, how low key his joining the company was. Usually there would be photos and announcements on staff notice boards but none of it came. The entire Training Department personnel were standing in line waiting for his arrival, then I heard people talking getting louder on approach. I recognized the man himself straight away. Standing next to him was the man who droved the car from the bar and back to my apartment. He must be his personal assistant. Mr J, he is the new Vice President? The stranger I slept with, is the company’s new Vice President! Before they get any closer, I took two small steps backward to hide behind Minho one of the men in our team.

“Good morning everyone. My name is Jo Sang Woo, personal assistant to the company’s new Vice President, Mr Jang Wooyoung.” I heard his introduction. I was keeping my head down trying not to be noticed.

“Hello everyone. Nice to meet you all.” Mr J or rather the Vice President greeted us.

“Who among you is Team Leader, Park Seyoung.” Sang Woo asked. I can feel all eyes on me. Minho moving backward so I can be seen.

“Ms Park Seyoung?” Sang Woo asked. I looked up when he called my name.

“Welcome Mr Vice President to the Training Department. My name is Park Seyoung. And these are my team members.” Saying my introduction. The new VP extended his hand to me for a hand shake.

“Hello Ms Park Seyoung. Mr Jang Wooyoung at your service.” I accepted his hand for a shake. I am seriously hoping the ground will open and swallow me at this very instant.

“Do you mind introducing me to your team?” He requested. Flashing that deadly smile again, finally letting go of my hand. I introduced each one to him as requested.

“I heard your department is doing a marvellous job. Well done.” The Vice President said. “Don’t hesitate to contact my office if there is anything I can help you with.”

“Thank you very much Mr. Vice President. The whole team are working hard.” Bowing to him. He looked at me and smiled. Is he amused with my discomfort? I wish I could say something to him like I always did, but learning he is the VP of the company I am working is a total game changer.

“I’d like to have a word with your Team Leader. It was lovely meeting all of you. You may go back to what you were doing, Thank you for your time.” He said to the entire staff, then Mr VP turned to me. “Where can we talk?”

“This way Sir.” I showed him the Training Room. I heard him say to his assistant to wait outside. I opened the door and followed him in, closing the door behind me.

“Hello Park Syoung-shi.” He greeted. “I didn’t know we work in the same company.” Working in the same company is an understatement. He is the company.

“Me either. Mr Vice President.” I answered, keeping my head down.

“I’m sorry I left while you were still sleeping the other day.” The VP said.

“If you don’t mind Sir. I prefer not to talk about it. I’m already embarrassed as it is.” I said, still keeping my head down.

“What is there to be embarrassed about? That I am the VP of the company you are working? Or the fact that you slept with me.” He asked. I kept silent. “Don’t you think it is rather rude not to look me in the eye when I’m talking to you?”

“I apologise Sir.” I said, lifting my head up to look at him. I can feel my cheeks burning.

“Why are you blushing?” He asked. He is half- sitting on the table, with his arms crossed. He really looked every inch of an Executive right now dressed in an expensive suit. While me, just a mere employee, in tailored black pants and beige long sleeved top and black loafers.

“This is not blushing. Sir. I honestly don’t know what to say.” I told him.

“Please don’t feel uncomfortable when I’m around. I want you to be the same person you were before finding out who I am in this company. We need to separate personal from professional. I expect that much from you.” The Vice President said. “Arasso?”

“I understand Sir.” I replied. “Again, my apologies.”

“Have a good day, Park Seyoung.” Then he left, leaving his beautiful manly scent linger in the room.

    Chapter Nine

I was glad work kept me occupied the whole day. Thank God we are all set up for the two sessions we were running and basically stayed in the training room the entire time. Though I struggled initially after only managing to sleep for three hours, two mugs of strong coffee kept me going. Jenny asked where I was because she couldn’t find me last night at the bar, but admitted she didn’t get there until after 10 pm. I only remembered checking my phone when I got home early this morning and saw the missed calls. Looking at the time of her call, I was already with Mr J. I don’t know what was I thinking. The first man I ever slept with was not even a boyfriend, but someone I met at a bar. I could have run away when I had the chance, but I didn’t. I was willing. I had few drinks, but I was sober enough to remember everything that happened last night. Every intimate detail. A car was already waiting with a driver the moment we were outside, giving him instructions to go to his place. We were holding hands the entire trip as if we were afraid one might change his or her mind and let go. But none of us did. When we got inside his apartment, all inhibitions were gone. I am sure he used protection, or did he not?

Kurae. If he turns out to be a jerk there was no one else to blame but you. I said to myself. But basing on what I saw, he seemed decent. His lives in a posh neighbourhood. His apartment done tastefully, from the appliances, furniture and decors. His car was an expensive model. Probably he is a high maintenance playboy? Oh my God! What have I done? After telling myself off and short moment of hysteria, I saw few missed calls from my Mom. So, I called her back.

“Yes Omma,” I greeted my Mom.

“I’ve arranged a blind date for you tomorrow evening. He is the son of a former college classmate. He just got back from America after finishing his PhD in Psychology. I’m sure you will have common ground to talk about because you are a Psychology major. He is only two years older than you. He is about 184 cm tall and very good looking, ” My Mom describing the man I am meeting.

“Okay Mom. What time and where am I meeting him?” I asked without arguing. I am surprised with myself too.

“Really? You are coming?” My Mom couldn’t hide the shock in her voice. Usually, a lot of backwards and forward exchange of words happen before she can convince me to a blind date, or to anything I don’t like to do. It was over a year since the last one.

“Yes. Where am I meeting him?” My Mom gave me the name of the restaurant. It is not far from work. I can easily go there when I finish.

“Seyoung-ah. Are you okay?” I nearly gave out a laugh when Mom asked me that. She couldn’t believe I said yes straight away. “Are you planning to ask me buy you something? Because, usually this is what you are like when you want something from me.”

“I am alright, Omma.” I reassured her. “No catch. I just thought I’ll give it a try. That’s all.”

Senja?” My Mom still in doubt. “Okay. Wear a dress please when you meet him? You are really pretty when you wear a dress you know and put some make up.” Mom reminded me.

Arasso.” Assuring her again before hanging up. I know it means buying one as I’ve never bought a dress for ages. I went to a mall and looked for a dress to wear for the blind date before going home.

    Chapter Ten

“Your coffee Mr Vice President.” Hyung placed the coffee he picked up for me on my desk.

“Thanks Hyung.” I said, giving it a sip. I am not supposed to be at the office today being a Friday but somehow Dad convinced me to sign some documents on his behalf. My Uncle who is the President is also away on a business trip himself, so being the next in the hierarchy, I have no choice but to turn up at the office to finalize the deal. Yesterday was a busy day too. After dropping Park Seyoung at her place. I slept until midday and went to see my friends and business partners Junho and Nick. We spent the rest of the day deciding which artist we will be choosing to produce their music. Ten came down to five. Five came down to three. Then three came down to one. Later, we are going to meet up for dinner but this time they are bringing their dates. They have been asking me to meet them because between the three of us, I seem to be the best judge of character when it comes to women. True enough, the last girlfriends didn’t turn out well. Although both were very pretty but that’s all they know, with very high maintenance tastes that goes with it.

“Mr Vice President. Can I ask you a question?” Hyung asked.

“Sure. Go ahead.” I said. Curious of what he was going to ask, looking at him.

“The lady you went out with last night. Is she your girlfriend?” He asked.

    Ani.” I answered him. “Waeyo?

“I just thought she looked familiar, that’s all.” He answered.

“Really? You’ve seen her before?” I asked him again.

“Yes. But I could be wrong.” Hyung said. “Is there anything else you’d like me to do for you Sir.”

“No more. Cham, I am meeting friends for dinner around the area at seven tonight. You can go home after you drop me there.” I said to him. Hyung bowed in acknowledgement then left, closing the door behind. I put my pen down and leaned back on my chair, thinking about what Hyung Sang Woo just said about Park Seyoung. He said she looked familiar. I wonder where he had seen her before. I noticed the apartment she lived is in a decent neighbourhood. The building blocks were gated, it is obviously not cheap to rent or own. She must be earning decent money. Even the way she was dressed, she must be a department head or a team leader. She was articulate and quick witted. Too bad I didn’t ask for her number. Although I gave her mine she may not call me at all. That actually suits me if she doesn’t.

The French restaurant was not far from the office. It could have been an easy ten minutes away on foot. These two friends of mine want to impress their dates by picking this fancy restaurant. When I got in, I was ushered by a waitress to the table booked under Junho’s name, located on the first level accessible by stairs. They were already at the table with three ladies, instead of two waiting for my arrival. It was next to the glass window facing the main road.

“Wooyoung-ah.” Junho and Nick stood up to greet me shaking my hand. “Ladies, let me introduce to you our friend. Jang Wooyoung.” Junho started introducing me to all ladies, shaking their hands individually.

“I hope you didn’t mind we invited our friend Doo Nah to come along.” Says Min Young, who was Nick’s date. I think she is the one Junho and Nick was telling me about.

“Oh no. Of course not. I was only invited to come. Junho and Nick arranged this not me.” I told her.

The ladies are pretty as expected. Fashionably dressed, combining trendy and sexy in one. Min Young was wearing a black figure hugging lacy dress, showing her black undergarments. Doo Nah in beige tight fitting dress with straight neckline just sitting on top of her chest, with a thin strap to her shoulder. While Junho’s date Se Rah, wore a red long-sleeved satin top with very low neckline. The women really knows how to show some skin. Food and wine was delicious. The girls are fun and good company. I found out they are established career women themselves all working in the advertising world. After dinner, I excused myself to go to the washroom. As I was heading towards the corridor where it is, I was shocked bumping into Park Seyoung! I barely recognized her with how different she looked tonight.

“What are you doing here?” We both asked in unison.

    Chapter Eleven

Why in God’s name I have to bump into this man! After what happened the other night, I was really hoping not to see him again.

“What are you doing here?” Mr J asked.

“For a meal with someone.” I answered straight away. We then heard voices coming, he grabbed my hand and went inside the disabled washroom, locking the door. “Why are we hiding?” I asked.

“We are not. We are just talking.” He said. “Are you here on a date?”

“Why does it matter to you if I am on a date or not. We are strangers to each other.” I replied, looking at him.“What about you? Why are you here?”

“I’m having dinner with friends.” He answered. “It must be a blind date looking how you looked tonight. So different from before.”

I know right? I nearly wanted to say to him. I bought this blue off shoulder dress, matched with three inches beige coloured pumps. It took me the whole night to finally settle on this one. A little too pricey for my standards but I promised Mom to wear one and I did. I even had make up, put some false lashes on and wore contact lenses. Overall, I know I looked extra pretty tonight. Even my blind date Jihoon said the same. And Mr J too, well, he used the word different.

“I’ll take that as a compliment. Thank you very much. “ I said. “But I need to go back to my date before he ask for a search party to find me. Now, if you can please step out of the room so I can do my business?” I reached for the door knob when suddenly I heard voices directly outside the door.

“Doo Nah, you are lucky if you hook up with him. I heard he is a son of the CEO of that company. So technically he is the richest amongst the group.” One lady said.

“Nick is rich too. But you are right, Wooyoung is more well off.” Another voice said.

“Can you imagine? If we get married to these three men. We will all live in luxury!” Says another one who sounded more excited than the previous. Then the voices were gone.

I turned to look at Mr J. who was also listening to the conversation. “I can’t believe how shallow those women are. They think marriage is all about money. I bet you, if those women think you are loaded, they will be all over you too. So you’d better watch out.” I said to him. He nodded, then I unlocked the door and left. Few minutes later, I was back to my table on the lower ground of the restaurant.

“I was afraid you’ve left.” Jihoon said when I sat down.

“I bumped into an acquaintance upstairs so it took a little while to come back. I’m sorry.” I apologised to him.

“That is fine. I’m glad that is the case.” Jihoon said. “Would you like to order some dessert?” He offered.

“Yes please.” I took the dessert menu from him, chose what I like and ordered it. My eyes started to wander around, looking for him. When I looked up, there he was watching me from the top floor. He nodded his head to me before moving away from my view.
