was doing random reading and was reading on the month of March.
according to wiki, in many olden days calendar like the Roman and Russian calendars, March was the first month of the year...
the birthstones for the month are aquamarine and bloodstone and they symbolize courage.
a successful long distance relationship does not survive on just love but also a good dose of courage ~ to pursue and stay firm in your decision..
so perhaps, a good sign that the taecgui wedding happened in march. -

it is said we are what we read. does that apply to dramas as well? do they say anything about us?
so based on all those who have mentioned their favourite dramas, here are some random observations.
-- we seem to prefer comedies over melodramas
-- girl may be space cadet but her logic cannot be defeated and results in lots of fun menboong moments
-- girl does not waste time crying and is cheerful
-- guy may be little rude but he is not noble idiot and goes for what he wants
-- guy enjoys the menboong moments and misses it when it is not there..
-- we love height differences!
so conclusion, we are a happy ship that don't dwell in melodrama, love to laugh and taecgui are the perfect birds for our birdwatchers. -
seeing this new launch of season 2 makes me wonder what it is about a couple that results in shipping and what draws a certain audience to a couple. does the ship gather like-minded folks?

drama: Bright Girl's Success (2002)
tone: comedy though some serious bits
reason: washing sheets together not only beat depression and financial blues but was a great couple bonding exercise. who knew?
taecgui connection: GuiGui decides to share her blankie with Taec. blankets are important and clean ones even more so....
drama: full house (2004)
tone: comedy
reason: he called her 'his rice bowl' in both a mocking and loving manner even though she is actually a bad cook...
taecgui connection: poor Taec ate her chicken even though it had no flavour; she is also a bit of a slob who hides stuff behind cushions on sofas...
drama: smiling pasta (TW, 2006)
tone: comedy
reason: when asked by the second lead, "we fall into the ocean; who will you save? me or my older brother?"; her confused blur response, "but I don't know how to swim."
taecgui connection: when asked if they would date in real life, GuiGui kept her practical head on and gave a realistic answer instead of giving some fake rubbish...
lets hear some of your favourites.. am guessing that most of us will not be going for mushy dramas and will probably have a bit of quirky, funny dramas... prove me right... or... .wrong! -

OkCat's is eating (left to right) candy, hardtack crackers/biscuits, & some strawberry flavored snack you suck out of straw/tube. That's the candy in OkCat's mouth. It's actually called 'Apollo' but in the poster it's called Ah*Lo.

Q: have folks noticed that it is only during week days that okcat posts morning ♥ or night ♥ but not in the weekends... uh why? one can also wish morning ♥ or night ♥ during weekends as well no? any thoughts?
