Lee Sang Yeob and Kim So Hye will reportedly work together for a new KBS drama.
Several media outlets reported on September 21st that Lee Sang Yeob Kim So Hye will be the main lead of the upcoming KBS drama "Innocent Boxer" (literal translation).
Lee Sang Yeob's agency UNGBIN ENS responded to the reports and revealed that the actor is positively considering the offer. Meanwhile, Kim So Hye's agency S&P Entertainment also stated that the idol actress is also positively considering the offer.
"Innocent Boxer" will base its story on the novel titled "Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Suk."
Lee Sang Yeob got the offer to play the role of a sports agent. There are no details yet on Kim So Hye's character.
The upcoming series will air exclusively air on KBS. Meanwhile, it was not yet revealed when it will premiere.
If Lee Sang Yeob confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up drama after the series "Eve." Meanwhile, the actor will be part of the new Mnet show titled "Artististock Game." Lee Sang Yeob is both active in acting and variety shows.The actor is known for being a good villain and a protagonist in a romantic drama. Actor Namkoong Min, 44, who is currently appearing on SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer” is getting married to his longtime girlfriend model and actor Jin A-reum.
Local news outlet Dispatch broke the news on Wednesday with detailed wedding information. The report said the couple’s wedding ceremony will take place on Oct. 7 at the Silla Hotel in central Seoul. Shortly after, Namkoong’s agency 935 Entertainment confirmed the news and said the ceremony will be held privately among close friends and family.
Namkoong and Jin met for the first time in 2015 when Namkoong was directing his debut short film “Light My Fire” (2016). Jin starred in the film. They started dating in 2016.
Namkoong debuted in 2001 in the film “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” (2021) and went on to star in numerous films and drama series. Most recently, he won the Grand Prize at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for his role in MBC’s action thriller drama series “The Veil” (2021) last December.

Namkoong Min takes lead role in comedy series 'One Dollar Lawyer'

Actor Namkoong Min, who made his debut in 2001, had his major breakthrough with KBS' 2017 hit comedy series, "Good Manager," which earned him the second-highest honor at the network's year-end award.
About five years later, the actor has returned to comedy with SBS' new series "One Dollar Lawyer," taking the lead role as a peculiar lawyer, Cheon Ji-hun.
The new comedy series revolves around the stylish lawyer who only charges his client 1,000 won ($0.7) for his fee, despite being one of the best attorneys around.
A soon-to-be graduate of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Baek Ma-ri (Kim Ji-eun), who comes from a family with a legal background, comes to finish her training at Ji-hun's office. Joining hands, they fight against the privileged and their high-priced, fancy lawyers from getting away with crimes.
The series kicked off on Friday with an 8.1 percent viewership rating, and had 8.5 percent on Saturday.
"When I first read the script last year, I didn't know that there would be this many series featuring lawyers. So I tried to put focus on how I can make it interesting when I built the character of Ji-hun," the actor said in a written interview through the network.
He added that he created a stylish, fancy look for the character to make him more mysterious and interesting.
"At first (in the script), Ji-hun had the look that fits the title 'One Dollar Lawyer.' But, I wanted the viewers to get curious about Ji-hun from just looking at him. So I came up with checkered pattern suits and curly hair. And I even went on a diet to give a slimmer look for the character than my previous work," he said.
"That's how I created the appearance. And in acting-wise, I tried to keep a fine balance between the comedy and serious drama."
This is the second time the actor is working with actress Kim, since they co-starred in the MBC's action series "The Veil" last year.
He shared that being united with her again has allowed them to create better chemistry between their characters.
"We know each other's passion for acting and what we are good at very well so we have been hitting it off really well on set," he said. "The chemistry between the characters is especially important for this series. And the actors and staff have been doing a great job discussing the script and characters with each other on the set. So I'm pleased and excited to be working on this."
"One Dollar Lawyer" airs Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.

Kim Seon Ho Makes Meaningful Donation To Help Typhoon Victims
Kim Seon Ho has made a meaningful donation to aid flood relief efforts in Pohang.
On September 16, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that the actor donated all his earnings from the play “Touching the Void” to provide refreshments to more than 1,000 victims and volunteers affected by the recent Typhoon Hinnamnor.
Kim Seon Ho’s agency Salt Entertainment also commented, “Kim Seon Ho expressed his wish to donate all his performance fees to help those who lost their homes due to the typhoon, so we decided to fund the provision of refreshments. We hope it will be a small help for the victims in the recovery of their daily lives.”
Reportedly, the decision to run a food truck was made according to the association’s apparent need for on-site food assistance ahead of the Chuseok holiday

The only Drama by her I have seen and liked was "Revolutionary Sisters."
I'd love to see her older Drama "Terms of Endearment" with Chae Shi Ra and Ji Sung.
I have liked Seo Ji-Hye ever since seeing her in "Punch."

The legal drama is set to follow Namgoong Min as a particularly cost-effective lawyer, who only charges a fee of 1,000 South Korean Won (approximately 60 Indian Rupees).
Despite his proven skills, Cheon Ji Hoon sides with those in need, unafraid of standing up against those who abuse and manipulate the system with the help of their power and money. "Good Job" Confirmed to Follow "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" on ENA
July 22nd saw the release of pictures for the first script reading of the upcoming television drama "Good Job" which had been confirmed for the Seezn streaming service. But with the unexpected success of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" the upstart television network ENA is eager to keep the legal drama's timeslot filled, and has now confirmed "Good Job" to air on television. "Good Job" stars Jung Il-woo and Kwon Yuri as romantically entangled detectives.

The eight episode "Good Job" reunites the two leads from the historical drama "Bossam: Steal the Fate" from 2021. New pictures also confirm more cast members. These include Eum Moon-suk and Song Sang-eun in the second leading roles. Jo Young-jin, Yoon Sun-woo, Lee Joon-hyuk-I, Hong Woo-jin, Cha Rae-hyung, and Shin Yeon-woo-I have also all been confirmed for naming roles. "Good Job" will begin airing on ENA in August after "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" has finished airing.

Kim Seon Ho sheds tears as he apologizes for the commotion he caused through his controversy
Kim Seon Ho directly apologized for the past controversy over his private life and eventually cried.
On the afternoon of July 20, Kim Seon Ho appeared in front of reporters at the press call event for the play 'Touching the Void,' which took place at the Daehangno Art One Theater Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This is the actor's first public appearance since the controversy involving his ex-girlfriend.
On this day, Kim Seon Ho appeared with a handwritten letter ahead of the conference meeting. He said, "I thought it was the right thing to do, so I came out alone first. I am a little nervous so I thought I would talk incoherently so I wrote this down. I hope you can understand with open hearts."
After a moment of silence, he began reading his letter. He read, "I am really sorry and apologize for sharing this at the press call event. Many people worked hard from this spring to summer to make this play. I feel like I have caused a hindrance to everyone so once again apologize to the team and everyone" and shed tears.
He continued to say, "I am truly sorry for causing concern to many people with bad news. Looking back, I have reflected a lot on my shortcomings. All I can say is that I will put forth the effort to become a better actor and a better person. I am sorry."
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho will play the role of Joe, who was isolated on a snowy mountain in a distressful accident, in the play 'Touching the Void.' The play will be in theaters from the 8th of this month to September 18th.

Kim Seon-ho Tops Poll of Which Celebrity to Spend a Humid Summer With
The mathematics-based cram school corporation Seven Edu recently released the results of an online poll which had been taken from June 19th the July 12th. Some 4,914 respondents were asked which celebrity they wished to spend a humid summer with. Of those respondents, 4,101, or 83.5% of the total, stated that their celebrity of choice for this query was Kim Seon-ho. Kang Daniel was second place 640 respondents for 13%, while Kim Jong-gook was third place with 57 respondents for 1.2%.While international fans tend to know Kim Seon-ho best for his acting work, with his having a breakout role as the second lead in "Start Up" followed by a leading role in "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" last year, the respondents to the poll were most likely thinking of his work in variety shows. Kim Seon-ho has been on hiatus the last nine months. The cause has been a scandal where an ex-girlfriend accused Kim Seon-ho of bullying her into having an abortion.
Kim Seon-ho acknowledged the substance of the complaints and apologized to the ex-girlfriend. Purportedly, she accepted his apology. Kim Seon-ho is making his return via stage with Touching the Void, a play about mountaineering that's based on the book of the same title. The play started this past July 8th, with Kim Seon-ho first appearing in the July 9th performance at the Art One Theater in Seoul. It is not known if or when Kim Seon-ho will return to screen acting.
