Amongst shippers, most are Arjenias. I find this to be true across most ships. Either OIM is quite strong or most oppa supporters just don’t care about shipping business because we just support him with whoever he chooses, no pressure. But again, I will never force him to be with her and I will not stop supporting his future dramas just because it’s not with her. Some people who are throwing a fit are shippers of other ships, most likely not Minoz because we don’t usually participate in shipping. Back to my point, because most shippers are Arjenias, I see some sort of double standards when it comes to how their relationship should be. He should be the one to chase her and he is at fault if she doesn’t want to be with him. He acted like he liked her for 8 months so if he doesn’t actually like her then he played with her heart (but we really don’t know that)... such and such. There’s a bit of unfairness in the way he’s treated so yes, if I only look from a minoz’s point of view, it will get me angry too. I’ll speak for the minoz here on soompi, there are some who totally supports this ship but will not participate in shipping actively because they don’t particularly like the way lmh is treated by shippers.
Here’s the thing, I haven’t brought it up because this is a shipper’s thread. Whatever goes on on twitter or elsewhere can definitely get any party angry, depending on which fandom you belong to. I don’t agree with OIM and other ships but I also don’t agree with some things being said about lmh from the other party. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I hope this can be place where minoz and arjenia come together and support them as a couple. I wish this won’t be a place like Twitter. If I had anything to complain about, I might go to lmh’s main thread because putting it here opens room for discussion and can spark fan wars. I’d like to think I’ve been very respectful and considerate. I have never posted anything about what I’ve read about lmh that isn’t true and gets me angry from people who claim they are kge supporters. So I hope the shippers here, who are more kge supporters, would consider that this is a place where some are minoz too. It makes me uncomfortable and it definitely makes most minoz here on soompi uncomfortable, hence why I am one of the only few active in this thread.Quite honestly, this happened too many times on here for me to ignore it this time. In supporting this ship, I try my best to not be biased. I have never made any comment about kge that would come off offensive to anyone because I truly like and support her and would be angry if anyone tries to tear her down. But if I’m being honest, I don’t think some are as considerate when it comes to lmh. I would be lying if I said some things thrown around here didn’t anger lurkers who are Minoz. So I’m asking that perhaps try to see from the other point of view and understand that Minoz are active and lurking here too.
It takes the fun out of shipping when we hate on each other’s fandom. We’re MinEuners here right? MinEun is the joint of minoz and arjenia so I ask that we refrain from sparking wars between the two. If anyone is unhappy about how kge is being treated by fans on twitter or elsewhere, I suggest taking it to her main thread just like how minoz would take it to lmh’s thread.I wish we can just continue to ship happily here and ignore all the chaos outside. The past few days have been rocky here and we were never like that to begin with. I like when we just ship everyone to everyone and have a good laugh making fun of our own ship while fully supporting them together.

I understand the protectiveness of both camps but I also draw the line somewhere. I cannot speak about how LMH has affected KGE - whether at a professional or personal level - because am a new KGE fan. So I do not even venture in that area out of respect for KGE fans here.
But like you I would respectfully react to posts which hint about LMH's "improved" acting as a product of being with KGE cos as any LMH fan familiar with his body of work would say, this is simply not true. Just because he is more well known for his gorgeous looks all this time, I would have hoped that no one would conclude that that is all he could offer and just because of his current association with KGE, he miraculously transforms into this great actor. Now, that is not fair.
It is my hope that we continue to celebrate their professional union as it gave us TKEM. That they showed a great connection in this drama is what gave brith to this Shippers' Thread. That this beautiful connection would extend to their personal lives is a dream that we shippers all share & wish to come true.

These OIM girls - if you thoroughly dig into their profiles they either ship him with their idol and that is their ideal ship or to themselves and then there are seriously some who want LMH to saty single bcz hey he's our oppa - our eye candy- we'r minoz and we've rights over him.
And sorry to say none can't win against these richard simmons bcz they come in great numbers from left - right - top - bottom. So shippers kinda succumb with no support. And you will be surprised to know that they've sorta in war with almost every other fandom except for their female idol fd. They think of themselves as some clique. totally spoiling or running over the shippers. They're big mood/ship spoilers.

Then just don't mind them. You cannot expect everyone to agree with what you believe in or want to promote. If they argue with you or attack you, block them. It is so easy to make an attack on social media because of the anonymity it provides. But it also gives you tons of leeway to NOT GIVE haters and those with a different agenda significance in your social media life. And if you cannot really hack it, then leave that outlet for a while.
It is the same way in this forum. Not everyone will be happy with what you post. But so what? As long as you abide by the forum's rule and you do not disrupt this community, then you have as much right as everyone to post your opinion. That's what grown ups do. Adult up!

OhMyGah! After 35 pages and how many hours of enduring the glitch on Soompi (all comments blacked out w/ an error message), I thought I would never see the end of this thread! Actually I still have 3 pages to go hehe
So I see that the ship has undergone an emotional roller coaster ride. Nope I will not preach or disparage anyone for appearing to jump ship. I will just share how the final BTS affected me --
I dunno about you guys but when I saw BTS epi 16 - esp the head patting/caressing, something lurched inside me - a sudden but soft & warm feeling in my heart when LMH reached out to comfort a visibly overwrought KGE in a very public place. Did we expect anything less?
And as for the kissing scenes? SO naturally sensual. As if they were not acting... These are the things I want to say about the whole thing.
They do not have to be dating or be in a relationship now. As a shipper my prayer is that they find their space & time when they are ready. The connection is obviously there. They (and us) just need time. And if I ever find myself in doubt of our OTP, I will simply remind myself of this (while singing Aretha Franklin's, "You're all I need, to get by...).
