Hyunie looking young and simply gorgeous while Wookie looks so young and his usual handsome self with some extra weight. Seems like he’s adjusted to army life pretty well.
These coincidences of the timing of their posts and social media presence after a while IMO is no longer just mere coincidence. Seems like there’s a pattern as mentioned by many in this thread and my gut tells me it’s highly possible it’s “unconscious coupling” on our beloved OTP. (N.B. Borrowing from Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin phrase).

SBS has not moved on from SP. It my not have topped ratings wise but it’s given them relative success and the OTP chemistry had provided a steady revenue stream that I wouldn’t doubt will have the producers recoup their investment. I also noticed that after SP, SBS’ slate offerings are still big on the legal drama genre. Same with the other networks. Using SP as still part of their promos still gives them come-ons and the marketing strategy still works. So methinks SBS is going to milk this cow till it runs dry.

Seems like the consensus of those who’ve seen and had the viewing experience of the Dcut have the court kiss tops among NamJi kisses as the one with the emotional connection and the feels in the romantic-o-meter.

I’m confused so the Blu-ray that has stock available is the complete package but the Dcut DVD does not contain the couple disc? My budget can stretch to $200 but the Blu-ray is gold at $300+. I cannot justify. Huhu
The struggle is real whether to spend $300 on single purchase for a Kdrama DVD.

@masthuI’m glad you raised the food truck issue and prompted those of us not in the know. I’m not active in other social media apps or accounts so Its great that the parties involved chimed in and explained their sides. To @distressdoll and @pickledthoughts I do appreciate you dropping by and taking the time to explain things. I really hope all sides are open to discussion. And after much thought, there’s a meeting of minds and reason will prevail. This all started with good intentions and I believe there’s one thing that all sides can agree on. We (as shippers of the couple) all root for NamJi and we want to support their individual endeavours. Likewise those who are fans of just Wookie and Hyunie are supportive of their work as actors and their choices be it professional or personal. The worse scenario that I hate to see if this is not resolved, is for Hyunie to be caught in “scandal” and she is caught in the backfoot and the only recourse her management team can do is “damage control”.
Personally I’ve been thru bitter disputes among fans of couples who have decided to go their separate ways. I was part of a fan group of one HW couple from the start of their relationship or when it was still “are they or aren’t they status”. I was a fan for both the actor and actress individually though looking back I think I stan more for the female side of my favorite couple because of her persona and how she evolved. It started with great chemistry and then the speculation of them being together and them going the distance (children and marriage). Then shite happens, they have “uncoupled” and some fans took sides. To this day I remained neutral and I decided to distance myself from all the blame game that fans who used to love them together are at loggerheads now on who to blame.
I think it’s the high expectations and standard set for us women in relationships that when it goes down the drain, the public backlash is skewed towards the woman. The vitriol-coated-with-righteous indignation from women themselves are to a point that one would think they were the aggrieved party themselves. To cut the story short, it’s messy and no one wins.
With the prevalence of misogyny in our society today and the Ent industry in particular, I hate to see Hyunie put in such a disadvantaged position not to her making but due to overzealousness of fans.
Let’s not forget Hyunie is a working actor and she has earned a good rep among her peers in the industry. The young lady worked hard for where she is today. SOOP has done a good job in managing her career so far and I’m sure they have great plans for her. This new project has the makings to increase her profile to new heights. And as the more experienced actor she carries a big weight in rolling this film off to a good start and not be embroiled in some shipping controversy. That would not be fair to the production team and other cast members and more so to her co-star who also have some pressure to make this a success as his first lead role. I’m sure his big agency if push comes to shove, will not take things sitting down.
Let’s all take a pause and look at the bigger picture.

Hey Teach, that’s like a toss up of the coin and we only have one chance. But I’ll take that probability. The chances of it going the way we wished for is good enough for me.
But considering how they’be been “super cautious” not to be photographed together after the drama wrapped, taking pains esp. on Hyunie’s part not to actively attach or associate herself with Wookie related topics in social media tothe point of being suspicious. So, the odds are high that he won’t send. But if he does, I’l be happy. LOL! (with same expression as Wookie in the MBC section TV interview). And how Hyunie will respond is something to look forward to.

its really great news that Hyunie accepted. I’m really appreciating how SOOP is managing her career.
Is she done with her classes for this semester or is she supposed to go back to campus after the Korean Holidays? Could be she’s filed for LOA, or she’s done with exams and she’s just finishing her thesis or case studies and she’d made arrangement with her school that she can continue her studies without her going in campus like regular students. Or another option is taking open-university courses while she’s working.
Well whatever she does I’ll support. NJH has a good head on her shoulders. And I believe her management team are just following a plan. I figured as much she’ll be working sooner. She’s experienceing an upswing on her career and It will be a lost opportunity if she doest ride on that.

Wookie has been consistent in how effusive he is in his compliments of Hyunie in her craft and as a person. That’s why anyone who listens to him or read his words when he talks about her - it jumps out how he ADORES her professionally and personally. Without much prompting he gushes about her or mentions her name or thoughts related to her. Plus his body language and “speak” when it comes to Hyunie is a dead giveaway. As many Wookie fans mentioned he’s not a very good liar when it comes to his TRUTHS. Judging from his previous interviews he’s a straightforward guy. So him speaking of Hyunie in glowing terms is not just part of SP promo but speaks of his admiration as a thespian to a fellow thespian who takes her craft seriously. It’s a testament of how he values her professional opinion. Indeed he was having a blast filming SP. Not to take anything away from his previous co-stars, it must be enriching as an actor to have someone he can just bounce off ideas and comfortable enough in her own skin and willing to step out of her comfort zone. Any other actress with an image to protect and limited acting talent will balk on downplaying her looks (e.g. uglyfing herself in SKL and some scenes in SP) and trusting JCW in their intimate scenes. As proof of that she more than prove to everyone and “shookED” her co-star in their kissing scenes. I’ll bet a month of my pay, Wookie thought he got the intimate scenes covered being the experienced partner in romantic relationships and kissing scenes. I’m guessing during their discussions before they shot the kiss scenes, he was at his element. But as many NamJi shippers contend, he got SCHOOLED by inexperienced NJH at some point. Hah!
8. Credit to PD-nim and the production team for giving Wookie and Hyunie and the other actors some artistic freedom. It also goes to show that PD-nim believes in their talent and acting experience and values their opinions. It takes a certain comfort level and confidence between actors to allow their fellow actors to veer off script. It’s jarring when you up the ante and then you’re co-star doesn’t pick up on that. Or, you believe it would have been better to act out a certain way but you don’t have trust in your co-star mediocre talent. And what’s worse is a lazy actor/actress who just coasts on their looks or PR created popularity. I just love it that Wookie mentioned about how meticulous Hyunie is with the script and her character study. I think Wookie shares the same trait as her in that aspect. He must has learned something from her in preparing for her role. Speaking for myself this is so true in whatever field you are. Working with someone who allows you to grow and unselfishly gives out their learnings. Ahh. Wookie, if you don’t marry her, I’ll marry her myself. LOL!

10. I find this really interesting that they have different acting styles because they have so much chemistry. Speaks of how on the same wavelength they are emotionally and mentally. I wonder who goes or inclined to method between the two. It bodes well for lovers or potential lovers/partners to speak the same language even if they may different approaches to the same end goal. LOVE!!

18. I get why he finds the court scenes difficult. I was/am truly impressed with how he can memorise the long lines on the laws and its provisions, court decisions. As NJW he really exhibit the legal acumen in the court scenes. Good job Wookie.
