Thanks for tagging! It’s going to be difficult for me to watch dramas on a reliable schedule cos I’d be traveling and WiFi is going to be iffy. Will have to sit this out but I’ll catch up when I can!

He’s an electrical engineer by training if I recall correctly. His college days must have been spent studying and fending off girls methinks I first saw him in Maiden Holmes - good show too! Seems he is going out with Bai Lu according to the grapevine … kekeke -2

Long week. Caught up with some bits and pieces of K-ent, C-ent and JYP’s performance at the Awards came into view. Boy George, Wham!, AHA, Spandau Ballet quickly came to mind. JYP really is a performer, always aiming to make an impression weirding people out. The era and language probably didn’t make any sense to the younger audience judging from their reactions. I am a lot more amused by them than JYP. The red lacy jumpsuit would have me sitting at the edge of my seat biting my nails too like Song Joong Ki. I listened to a lot of golden oldies 50s to 70s growing up cos my parents always have them on full blast. Still do. Read that some of you also do…I think we might be in the same age bracket. I recently finished two c-dramas of Bai Lu’s. Kunning Palace started rocky but the story is pretty good - tells of palace shenanigans and espionage - changed my impression of her ML, Zhang Linghe. The other one with Dylan Wang was rather fluffy but enjoyable for me. That’s about 80 hrs. Yikes…don’t count… There’s a slew of k-dramas that began recently and I’m trying to watch them. I started My Demon and it looks like fun. I’m hanging up Castaway for later…have no motivation to follow through. Started Vigilante too but seems repetitive from eps 3-5, so kinda stopped too. More time this week to explore… -2

Ooh, games! I know the drama for character 1 but haven’t started watching… For character 2, agree that he wears a lot of blue, no? Kekeke…

Hehe…no worries! We are all free to think and feel however we do. In fact, I also think he’s missed opportunities for his character to shine. He’s got some screen presence but not a solid hold. In the scenes with XW and JXN, I look at JXN more. (She’s smart but so meddling and pesky!) I am also wondering why. I think he’s gotten better with the sly and shrewd looks but they are not powerful enough to scare, if you get my drift. He looks cute still cos he kinda pouts. His red eye one resembles someone deranged though he somehow looks pretty in it. Kekeke. I don’t know….maybe it is because he never looks bad so it’s harder to take him too seriously. What illness is he suffering from? Yes! I thought he was older than ZLH! He's pretty good. I just finished ep22 as well. Though the story is easier to follow now, there’s a lot of conflict due to espionage that I find tiresome. Heh. These guys have a truckload of trust issues.

No, I haven’t though I do like a good oat milk drink. I don’t take sugar and avoid cold drinks….kekeke…so I reckon mine’ll be an order of oat latte shaken, not stirred. Xmas is my favourite time of the year - not so much the gatherings but the festivities and the winding down of the year. What? I finally realized who XW really is. Goodness, that took a while and some of my braincells. I’m pretty sure I am not alone when I say that this drama is throwing out plenty of backstory and current within the first 10 eps and is a lot to take in. Plus, the Mandarin used here is harder than other dramas for me … I didn’t real the novel but I do wonder why they had the superfluous modern times bit at the start. They didn’t quite need it for the second life explanation … unless this is really a story within a story… I like how the leads BL/ZLH are different than their usual roles - a lot fiercer and villanous. They are emoting well, contrary to comments I have read so far.

Yes, I’d be the same. Kekeke. I retreat from runs… I know!!! I ve been looking around for nice overnight oats recipes - something I can prep ahead for busy mornings. I like it warm with banana, maple, pepitas/sunflower seeds, goji, cinnamon and berries. Also thinking about adding yoghurt but … (see image above) anyone has a favourite combi to share? -2

Was out at a Xmas market today - the first nice one I've seen here - and they were running workshops too, part of the proceeds go to charity. Was also introduced to Mongolian oat milk for coffee...pretty good! No plans to chop, cook and clean this weekend! I want rest and to catch up with dramas after a particularly hectic week. Srsly...the hair people talk about. -2

Interesting piece! Music was literally coming out of her mouth and she looked like a heart attack was imminent. I don’t go to operas but I am always awed by how they can hit such high notes and make the sounds they make. When they go to the really high frequencies , I get the same sensation as hearing nails on chalkboards. I cringe-shrink-curl and then nothingness… Musicals. I adore them. &Juliet recently played here - was fun and fabulous! The first musical I watched was The Sound of Music when I was 11 - I can still sing the songs but will royally mess up The Lonely Goatherds. Kekeke. My hamster oppa (#2) with Somin! Yes, I read about that too. I have so many questions … wonder what language he will speak as the prince of a very flamboyant alien nation … right now it looks like ballroom dancing. I hope he won’t be asked to do something cringey. I did! It is a feelgood drama with a rather slow start. I got a bit bored after the first episode because I found the monotony of storytelling outstanding. The hook was mundane and FL’s story was not as compelling as I hoped it would be. Some stories in the psych ward are interesting. So I’ll give it a few more eps to see where it goes. -2

Luo Yun Xi is looking quite pale and gaunt in a new drama that premiered today. He plays a neurosurgeon but looks like a patient. From most angles, his neck looks extra long and uncomfortably fragile. i saw him last in Till the End of the Moon with Bai Lu - can’t recall if he was just as thin or if it’s the thick period costume layers that blurred the lines. I read that he’s always been thin - without trying. *super envious* @gm4queen Congrats on the new place! It’ll be fun decorating! Best wishes for the new endeavour too! As for advice, make sure you can get good WiFi signals around the house. -2

Tony Leung, my favorite of all time! He came way before Gong Yoo when Hong Kong dramas were all the rage. My original oppa. I haven’t been tracking him too much but know that he’s earned himself the Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement Award in Venice. He’s 61. Political espionage isn’t my genre but I’d watch the show for him. I think @rocher22 would be in for Yibo? Kekeke, I like RM in glasses and find that’ll make his blonde look better. @partyon CEW has exploded into pieces of meat slabs, hasn’t he? He has such a nice face too.
