Sorry I'm writing so much today.moderators. I'm so sorry.I promised I will stop way earlier during the day, but I guess I never knew how much I care about JG when he is a stranger and a thousand miles away.It just pains me to see such a good person be torn apart by things he shouldn't even be guilty for.
It hurts that his true fans are not in close proximity to tell him via a phone call or hear from him to see how he is doing and tell him it will be ok.
I just imagined a scenario: So let's say as these IQ and EQ deprived people are saying he makes a private apology to PMY.Imagine this conversation, phone or face to face:
JG: Hello, "Min Young Ah, am sorry if the dating news that has been released, has affected you and hurt you if you developed a romantic feeling for me because of the things I said and the way I acted in the show."
If I was Min Young Ah, If I was super close to the guy I would be like dude grab a humble pie and I would laugh it off.But if I was just beginning to develop a friendship or renew a friendship with the guy, I would be richard simmons pissed like, how can you make such presumptions when I didn't come out and said I like you in that way.Does that mean every fan that laughs at your jokes, smiles when you smile, flirts back when you flirt, shows any kind of admiration mean to you that they want to pursue a love relationship.How arrogant.Thats the kind of things you say in a cringe rom com or makjang drama.Dont think too highly of yourself it's un attractive.
Ok let's imagine the inverse scenario, he makes a public apology to the viewers:
JG:"Sorry for misleading you into thinking I have fallen for Min Young Ah when I already had a girlfriend."
General Public(excluding shipper's and antis): Ummm the show's concept was friend reunion.You said people misjudge you, minyoung said she was awfully misunderstood too.PD nim said they connected you two because you are similar.Why on earth would anyone come to the conclusion that you or her were looking for a date through the show?All we got out of the show is you two are lovely people and would have cracking chemistry in a rom-com.
JG Fans: But dispatch was the one who released the news not JG or his girlfriend!Do you think they consulted JG and JHB and ask them if they want to go public?JG would have said nothing until wedding day if Dispatch just shut the richard simmons up.

Who wouldn't react that way when your sunbae is JG, and he remembers and recognises bunny bunny among the hundreds of female colleagues(models, actresses,stylists, dancers etc)that he has worked with when they have not really connected over 10 years.That means she holds a special place in his heart.Not as a potential love interest but as someone special.I don't know but I think that's why she behaved that way and I think that's why his face was full of emotion towards the end.
People who are saying apologise apologise is it really for PMY's sake? or to compensate for broken shipper's hearts?(if it's the second question, how bloody stupid and delusional).No actor or television personality asks to be shipped with their TV colleagues in real life.
Have they thought if that is what PMY would want, her sunbae and oppa who comforted, listen to her to be cursed at and called all sorts of degrading adjectives just because he didn't satisfy their fantasies.How about IU? would she want her sunbae and oppa who stood by her, cheered her on and never said a bad word about her, all throughout the promotion and filming of moonlovers up until the end of the broadcast, when everyone was cursing her to the high heavens to be treated this way? Also people are acting like the flirting was only on JG's side when it was on both sides.If my memory is correct.JG started by saying oh I have the impression that bunny bunny is cute and bubbly.Bunny bunny said she is sexy.When they were teasing each other their beer drinking skills, bunny bunny said I'm in pyjama and stuff like that and he was like rebuking himself jokingly saying don't imagine.When JG was at the restaurant and bunny bunny whispered in the phone.When he said why am I getting goosebumps from the whispering, he said that after the line was cut.
These were two people who had good phone chemistry and simply enjoying innocent banter.PMY has nothing to regret for..she is a lovely woman and people have seen that side of her and JG has nothing to apologise for to her and not to viewers either because the show was about a friends reunion concept via a romantic concept in a romantic setting and that's what it did nothing more nothing less.

Even though am no expert on business, the media or whatever but just my humble opinion. will this affect his viability with PDs, writers etc as an actor?
Absolutely not!!!let me give an example of our lovely bunny bunny PMY.I will not talk in details about the nonsensical "controversies" about her over the years.But did all this affect her as an actress?No.Did it diminish her worth as a marketable artist or reduce her status as an A list Actress.No.The PDs over the main stations have continued to book her over and over again and award her during the annual awards..why, they know that there are some "controversies" that are not worth wasting opportunities for.Nothing PMY said, did or the people associated with her in her private life were a cause for serious concern business wise.
Let's talk about IU.She has been subjected to the worst cases of harassment, bullying, negativity etc over the years.Did that stop the PDs from casting her in Moon lovers.Answer No.Now we may have different opinions about her but my point is, PDs and writers also have the ability to draw the line when it comes to exiling people from the industry and exercise good judgement on when private life infringes on their work as industry professionals.
SpoilerI could go on and on about the examples and include Kim Soo Hyun, Jeon Ji Hyun, Song Hye Kyo, Han Hyo Joo and others who have had alleged "controversies" arguably much more serious than dating news but did this affect their viability as actors no.
SpoilerOk let's talk about JG himself even though moonlovers was surrounded with negativity in Korea.what happened two months later after it wrapped up?He is being considered for a big budget drama, "criminal minds" and model for lotte.What does that tell you about the PDs and writers and advertisers. they know he is bankable.They know his skills are unrivaled and he has shown that no amount of negativity can faze his career and they know that his image as a public figure is very strong.
Look even today, instagram netizenbuzz, soompi the negative is being drowned up with positivity people sending their good will messages to him PMY, and JHB. Not many who are true fans of PMY or IU are against this.IU camp is mostly quiet. her instagram they are talking about her music.Most PMY camp is actually happy because this means PMY's drama will now receive more attention and the shipping can stop.The real undeniable culprits of this mayhem are shippers who are blowing this out of proportion(some shippers are even pissed he is receiving overwhelming support instead of 100%backlash) and dispatch but as always I trust in JG.He will be fine.

@Littlebelly house your theory actually makes a lot of sense and I've seen a few people talk about it.In someone's words she said "Maybe some top honchos(higher ups) were not happy with the positive buzz JG and PMY were getting, but especially JG on TVN like they felt threatened.But the question is who and which broadcasting station?
Lol were they that scared that there is a very very high possibility that if Criminal Minds is taken by TVN and JG headlines the drama following MEC positive response it's going to be mega successful.I mean JG has gained humongous support internationally due to SHR and was gaining an increasing amount of support domestically because of MEC.
I am a bit disappointed with the way the special 8episode MEC news has been handled.It makes it seem like the MEC crew said" well dude you are controversial now so screw off" we are cutting off the program. I personally don't think they meant it like that unless I'm proven wrong.But from a business point of view, I totally understand them.They had to react in someway and say something whether good or bad.
But that being said, I think JG left a positive impression on TVN and that isn't going to go away just because of this nonsensical news.
1.The TVN MEC writer expressed her delight in working with JG saying it always felt like they were having a mini fan concert just by being around him.
2.The TVN MEC PD nim said he has worked with many excellent artists but JG felt like a brother and he would love to have his number.Thats a huge compliment from a PD.Its like when you get a 100% on your annual work review.
3. He and PMY met the objectives of the show and made the show buzz worthy again.like how many honestly new about the show especially on the international level.

Hopefully this will be my last post on the matter lest I am triggered to respond to someone.Let me repeat as someone said so eloquently, JG went to candy show to correct "misconceptions about his personality".The way he was perceived as being cold and indifferent among other things.He wanted to find someone who can relate to his struggles as a public figure in the k entertainment industry.A friend who will lend a symphatic listening ear.That person happened to be PMY.Who could have been a better person than her?she is a fellow high profile actor, no stranger to controversies and misconceptions, person who has similar personality cheerful go lucky. similar way of dealing with pain..happy outside, broken and hurt inside.
Candy show is a show that shows the blossoming of friendships albeit this season made pairs of the opposite sex.How can it be a dating show?Because they are people of opposite sex?or because there is mild flirting that goes on?ike in season 1 Jang Geuk Suk had so many candies and he is a great flirter too .So should we say he was scouting for the best date since he had so many?or more ridiculously was he meant to date every candy he had chemistry with..you see how ridiculous that is!
That being said, being the kind of person that JG is, who cares more about other people and their needs above his own.He ended up being the candy by making PMY laugh all the time, listening and advising her.People really need to pay attention sometimes and leave their delusions aside especially when it's a reality show. He said to PMY and am quoting him directly in the last episode:
"I am so happy to have met a FRIEND like you.Your voice is the kind that cheers people up."
He also said in Healing camp:
"The way to heal from emotional pain caused by people is through people."

Some people(not attacking you darling,) are implying that LJG lead PMY on, with the flirting and there were sexual undertones in the candy show like the way he reacted to PMY's whispering in a certain clip just to give an example or the way he said I miss you and other tender words blah blah giving the impression that he likes her in more than friends way.My question is have these people never had male friends before? coz I see more of the critics are women.Or is it the camp that believes men and women cannot be friends so they have never experienced what it is like to be in male-female platonic relationship?

In any case, maybe this is actually a good thing.This storm will help in testing and sorting out who are the true fans, the ones who just liked him because he satisfied their delusions and who are the antis.I am appealing to all the true fans of JG in this forum, to please brace ourselves,rally around our beloved Joon Gi and support him and attack all the negativity with our fierce positivity and love.I think this is the ultimate test for our love for him.He needs us now more than ever.
I'm really disappointed in people.How can people already start attacking his character and bash him when the news has just broken out in two hours.Do people really have that little faith in him as a person?No wonder he feels lonely.Maybe this is what he meant by saying he lacks affection.

Oh dear God.My hurt already hurts so much for him.Look at the poor timing of this news.Seriously he just finished candy in my ear.His FM is coming up in less than two weeks.His drama news was just around the corner I believe, because fall dramas casting news comes around this time.
What happened to true journalism.This is why I hate tabloids.For one I'm still skeptical about this news but ok let's wait and see.Something just doesn't seem to add up.I think oppa JG or Jeon Hye Bin herself should release a statement rather than letting their agency deal with the riffraff.Also what's with the sudden wave of negativity in the forum too.

You are worried about Hong Sisters.At least they can be funny(depends on your sense of humour although sometimes its really "hul") and creative with their plots as seen by "my girIfriend is a gumiho" and "master's sun".I would be more worried if writer Kim Eun Sook (DOTS,Heirs, Secret Garden, Gentleman's Dignity, Goblin) ever came into the picture.Since she does write rom coms too sometimes.Yes they say she propels kactors into stardom but JG doesnt need that..we have said it over and over.He is already established.They say her scripts appeal to the Korean and some international female audiences..I say ok lets agree to disagree.They are an easy watch sure but imagine the cheesy, cringy lines arrgh and plot that starts in north and ends in the middle of nowhere. JG is a natural flirter, charisma is a given, he is funny and cute without even trying. He doesnt need cringy lines to make the audience swoon over him..he will deliver properly in rom com without those extra fluff.Of course I would still watch any drama they give him and I know he would give it 100%, even by said writer I am talking about but still nah even rom com..he needs to be given the best script to showcase his amazing TALENT.We have seen already by how well candy in my ear has gone.

1.lets start with the trending topic for today: candy in my ear for the sake of those who havent watched the latest episode yet.I will put my thoughts in spoiler.

and swoon with me for best hairstyle of JG(all of his hairstyles are jang)But I really really love it when he is wearing that hairstyle. It just brings out his manly effortless sexy aura side(I also love all his various auras) that I have grown to love so much.Swooooon!!!
has "Min Young-Ah" ever sounded sweeter and tender than hearing it from JG's voice.I swear if my name was Min Young I would get goosebumps if I heard my name being spoken like that. Its like that scene when he went to the restaurant and PMY was whispering aaaah on his phone and he got goosebumps(of course it was for a different reason he was thinking naughty thoughts hehehehe) but that feeling when you hear something pleasing to your ears.
c) before even I read the translated subs from instagram..my ears caught PMY change in voice. Lol
as soon as he called out her name up until the end..her voice and laugh although already high pitched became even higher pitched....hahaha thats a classic and unconscious thing to do when a female is attracted to a male she likes(like fangirly kind of way).

Anyhow all I want namoo to do is really fix that LJG wikipedia and asiawiki too.My goodness so annoying.The wikipedia is pessimistic and reducing the worth of our favourite actor.who wrote that nonsense.
Whats with the so called his "low rated dramas" gibberish they were writing about.I could write a 100 reasons why that section is bullcrap and rubbish but il hold myself.Also every other prominent Kactor in the awards section has both "nominations" and the "awards"received.JG has numerous nominations at the major awards.why are his not included on wikipedia page?
The asiawiki one, info is so not up to date and they omitted all the major awards he has won pre- military.If they are too many at least, list the ones from SBS for iljimae(2008), he won top excellence award..Baeksang(all the awards for the King and the Clown).Post military- APAN top excellence award in 2013 for two weeks).and he won Seoul international awards twice for arang and joseon gunman.every other actor has these credited to their profile on asiawiki.fix this namoo team.

Talking about Timberlake.I think he is also Timberlake's fanboy.The way he dances to "sexyback" with so much energy, intensity and passion.can you imagine the effort he had to put in to learn the lyrics to that song as a non native English speaker?He has been dancing to that song since years ago.

JG must be really likable even with the seniors too not only the juniors.It even shows in the BTS videos.Some even joke around with him like Yu Oh Seong sunbae-nim from Joseon Gunman.Even sunbae-nim from healing camp seemed happy and impressed with him.

@40somethingahjumma Bulls eye!!once again you always manage to hit the nail on the head and be the best voice of reason.*slow claps*.What's incredulous is all these assumptions and allegations as you have eloquently said are totally unfounded.There is no way that could happen.These people converse behind the scenes. Thats why people on JG's side are scoffing at this so called 'scandal'.I see a case for defamation (k-net and disgruntled shippers)and invasion of privacy(dispatch) here.
@minwookie what's even more ironic is that Wookie and JG are best buddies.
