To tell you the truth ppl tend to focus too much on social media. Maybe it took him too much time to check whats'up with his friends or his actions like commenting someone's post was badly received by so called "fans". Or maybe he's just tired of this all. After all no matter how angelic he looks, how high spirited he may look, how beautiful are his smiles and how good is his acting - he's human being, not god. Hard to believe but yes - he's a human. And humans can be tired.
You my ladies have said it all.Its been three days already since the insta spring clean.I think its time to move on already just like he has.He literally posted just a day after the unfollowing(which i believe was intentional for obvious reasons). Speculating at this point seems counterproductive to me.Throwing pity parties or venting our frustrations about why this or that is the way it is, aint helping either(although it can be helped as fans to worry about him, its instinct).There are many who hate our fandom.There are people who hate JG and envious of his recent success.There are many who are bewildered by our fierce passion for JG and his work.Lets not give them that satisfaction to be happy, just because his fans are wavering over an insta change.I will continue saying this forever..please have more faith in Lee Joon Gi.For a person to be in entertainment career for 16 years and still remain at the top and relevant, means he has been wise and thorough about his choices.

How can someone not be emotional when you see something like this:
Now, its one thing to see him crying in movies or dramas.But the feeling is different when he is crying in real life.It just cuts so deep inside.Anyway, can we set the record straight , especially for the lurkers and the people who didnt watch or attend this FM.Of course, given the time this FM was held, people would naturally conclude that he was crying, because he was sad and stressed, with how everything went down that time.It most likely was part of it.But I do believe he was also crying out of gratitude.The fans had made a video tribute of his career for his birthday.If you watched the video, it would tug at your heartstrings too.I would like to think he was so moved by the love of his fans, that even when things were messy at that time.They are still by his side.Cheering for him and showing him their love in the best way that they can.
But then, I wish he never has to cry like this again.Even when he is feeling thankful.I wish he would always smile and feel the love and that he is receiving all this adoration because he deserves it.This guy is too humble.Even here though he is smiling, he is wrinkling his face to hide his emotions;

Note:As for those non fans who continue to question his sincerity.Il just say people will believe and see what they want to see.Its hard to break perceptions.Even when the truth is presented to them.If you try to tell them, they could be wrong.To them, you are just a delusional person, who is seeing the world with rose coloured glasses.Or as they say in kpop, you are an "oppalogist".We just need to continue supporting him in the best way we can.Conquer hate with love, they say.
Also about him changing his brand and stuff, nah dont think anything is being chipped away.JG will always be JG as we know him.I dont think he is gonna change in the way he interacts with fans.What has and will change is that, he will even be more protective over his private life and acquaintances than before. That is all.After all that has happened, I dont think anyone has the right to blame him, for doing the needful to draw the line.This whole fiasco seems overwhelming, because it has happened within a short time.One after another.But all this will pass.Around this time next year.It will just be a memory.The world is too fast and busy, for the media and people, to focus on just one person's issues.

lol at this rate, i wont be surprised if he temporarily locks it to private.But I think its a good decision.0 following might make his sns activities less messy and reduce the noise.Its sad that it has come to this, but for his sanity..its best it becomes a completely official account for just his fans.He needs to protect his acquaintances from this madness.

Most importantly, what really caused a huge hit at his rep was his relationship revelation.But everyone who can at least be objective(and they are many even in Korea), knows that everything that happened, from the announcement to the breakup was due to external circumstances rather than anything he or she, did or did not do.
So in summary, I also worry about him sometimes, but in celebrity world, its not so black and white.So its useless exhausting yourself with worrying.Keep being positive.He will be fine.

This was inevitable.The amount of backlash they received for being FORCED to go public was ridiculous.No matter how much they loved each other, the hate and interfering was just too much.But I do hope he doesnt go into instagram hibernation again to wait until the news cools down.The drama is only halfway and he needs to continue promoting the drama, or at least enjoy the process of filming the drama fully, without being made to feel guilty, for pushing on and being made to seem he didnt care about her at all.

Part 1.Hyun Joon, the sexy profiler(of course he has been consistently sexy from ep 1 but i have to give him for being extra sexy in this ep)
a. looks sexy when sipping a drink and look into his eyes
b. looks sexy while holding and talking on the phone(samsung and phone company should pay him well at the end of this drama)
c.Makes playing pool look sexy.Those eyes though, so much fire...

Doesn't take life too seriously when he is not profiling(I wonder how i thought like this when Hyun Joon has already about 3 to 4 life altering tragedies.Its a wonder he is still sane.)Well, the promos kind of say, he was gonna be a mischievous kind but change 180 degrees when on the crime scene.But bear in mind, this was and is not preproduced.So they can change or make adjust the script, acting, characterisation etc..depending on audience response(especially the Korean audience).
According to JG, like he said in his zaobao exclusive interview

So here is my theory and am merely speculating.The casting confirmation, first script reading and initial filming was done in April.That was when he was under fire for being "too flirty on my ear candy and put the program into disrepute".So I am guessing at the time, they or he might have thought, its too soon to act a character that reminds people of the "controversy"so lets tweak our original visions of the character.Does that make them weak? nope.That's business for you.Another reason could be we already have Nana Hwang who is supposedly meant to be embodying that hyper, flirty side(whether she is doing great or not is up for debate).Making them both like that would probably bring comparisons between Penelope and Morgan interactions(nwhich is a no no because KHJ is an original character.Note i havent watched the US version but from what i heard.Their interactions were quite amusing.We dont want any Hyun Joon-Morgan comparisons because well...there is no link).Also it would off set the general mood of the drama which seems to be serious and mature from what we have so far.If they over do the flirting.Or maybe, because we are still in the get to know your team members phase and their relationships are still at infant level.They are not yet that deep.
In any case, we still have 14 more episodes to go.Thats a long way.Almost a full length mini drama(which have 12-16 episodes).Loads of things can happen in those episodes.Lets sit it out and wait.And if he isnt gonna be a lot flirty espein this dramat, JG is only 35.He has a lot to show us.There is always next time.

Hmm, I have alot of thoughts about all of the highlighted stuff.But how to put them in writing here and not be too wordy.I will try.First, about Hyun Joon and Lee Han.I love their bromance and Lee Han is growing on me.Or should I say I like his character.But girl, am too loyal and far too biased.In a JG drama, aint no one stealing the shine off JG's character for me.My love for his character is always first place. Which ever ship he is on with the female actress, if he has a loveline.I will root for it and it has to sail at all cost.I want his character to be happy(even if the female character is pissing the hell out of me).Like in this CM drama, my non existent ship with sun woo and Hyun Joon aboard, is gonna sail at all costs
(i think this is more for my sake than hyun joon.Like come on, how can you manage to secure MCW and JG in one drama, and not have a loveline!.Thats an abomination.And they are just oozing chemistry without even trying).Actually it has already left the harbour in episode 1 when he agreed to ride her car, when his was towed away. Also come on Hyun Joon is love baby.@antoniaclamens has so eloquently listed all his qualities.He is boyfriend material, husband material.The type you take home and copyright/patent for life.You will have to do a lot of convincing to me that he should be any where but number one. .Ok seriously, I dont think there is any uff missing in his characterisation or anything.JG has fully embodied Hyun Joon and is doing his best to breath life into that character.Like there is no trace of wang so in there.I feel Wang So is still vivid in people's minds.It wil take time infinite to get over wang so.Its like how Gong Gil was back in the day.According to JG, it took years for people to let go of gong gil and fully embrace his characters after that.There are people in Korea that still reference him as the pretty/king's man, who became manly when they look at him now, and its been over 10 years already.Heck they are still others in Korea who call him "pomegranate ahjusshi". Even though that CF is like a decade old now.JG's performance of wang so was so strong and powerful, and his characterisation was so so dramatic.People would write paragraphs and paragraphs of analysis on Wang So.His relationships and all.While Hyun Joon even though he has tragic written over him, they are not fleshing out that aspect of his character too much, and screen time among the characters are evenly divide,since this is an ensemble cast not where he is the single main lead and carrying the drama.The feeling is different.So rather putting Hyun Joon between "fun" or "boring".I feel Hyun Joon is the kind of character you just sit back and enjoy and swoon over. Thats why its a piece of cake for JG to act him.Also perhaps JG himself has spoiled us himself.If you look at his dramography.Almost all his drama characters were dramatic.So its a different feeling to see his character, so well rounded..not seeking justice for his own self interest.Not having strained relationship with his either of his parents etc.
Lastly, future roles:
a.JG as an Regal and elf-like(Wang So says Hi.Among the many descriptions of wang so.I would think this fits perfectly. Doesn't wang so/gwangjong fit regal(meaning monarchy, majestic and dignified).I also feel that combination fits better in period dramas.And well we already know his stance on period dramas now unless he changes his mind.I dont mind.I would love it.Gimme the king of historical dramas any day.I am game.
b.Or handsome spy(Kay says Hello. Ok under cover agent and spy are not exactly the same thing but its kinda close right.)Although I would be more than happy about this.JG wearing jaw dropping suits and looking like James Bond.come forth!
c.Or bad guy.Oh oh.this one would have to wait at least 5 more years.I am not ready to see him as an antagonist just yet.Korea has yet to write a completely bad guy in dramas as a main lead that we would root for.Not as a supporting character or part of an ensemble cast, we have seen this before.If he acted as a villain right now,(he would be relegated to a secondary character) maybe unless its a movie.And wouldn't you want to see him as a full villain for at last 16 ep?
