jinyoung who is playing the role of yoo sung is such a pretty and gentle guy. He is multi talented too! Saw a photo of him playing with his nephew and he really looks super gentle and sweet!

Everyone on the show really express the essence and act very well. The villians make me hate them. The otp couple make me ship them. The side kick eunuchs make me laugh. The little princess make me cry. And so many touching scenes thats not just from our otp. Bromance, love, etc . Havent watch such a satisfying drama for a very very long time!

Kim joo yung really blossomed into a beautiful fine lady and she is only going to be 17? So young and so talented. I hope her future keeps shining brightly! This show makes me feel satisfied. Its like a cartarsis of emotions and I can feel all sorts and yet there is always something sweet in each episode. I hope the team continues its good work and I am loving their on set bts chemistry too. Glad they are all having fun even when filming hecticly. From the bts , you can see how professional kim joo yung and park bo gum are. They always look at the screen to c how their scenes play out and they look like they are checking to see what to improve next. Cant help but marvel at their professionalism and yet they still remember to have fun.

Cried buckets at the sign language scene. Pdnim , director , our otp are daebak! I dont understand korean yet I can feel the esence of their love, agony, longing. Both actors express wirh their entire being and its so touching. The whole mdbc team delivwr this show so well to-date, giving us surprises and yet having suitable endings to each episode that fit the theme. Its really a special sageuk and I never expect myself to love it but I am falling so so much in love.
Ans i really get the butterflies hearing our cp call his raon. Heart leaping heaps ans bounds! Literally non stop Heart stopping action!

I cant wait for the subs to be out. The short clips shown here gave me the feels even when I dont know korean. Thats how good their chemistry is!!! Daebak episode and kudos to the team for surprising us again! My heart just cant breathe and I am hyperventilating from all these feel!

Good day moonlighters! On my way to work and reading this forum helps me curb some "mdbc addiction". I will only get to watch it with subs tomorrow and I really thank all the people subbing it! I totally dont know korean so I can only rely on translations . Yet this is one show I will watch raw as just based on their body language, I could feel the scene. Looking forward to the ost release this week!

I really like the article on good acting shared by @Grace1003. Immediately park bo gum comes to my mind as he often come across as ernest, real and upfront a a few times in interviews and reality programs ( youths over flowers, 2 days 1 night) . And all the while I thought actors can act as they are not "real", but it seems it works the other way.

speaking of kim yoo jung, she really is a super actress. I saw a few of her shows when she was acting as a child and today I saw her in a 2014 1 hr drama special " the dirge singer" , she still had some baby fat and was only 15. However the emotions she brought to her role just seemed way beyond her years. I hope her career grows well and that she will grow to be a happy well adjusted lady in future.

Before mdbc, I only read soompi forum at times. After mdbc, I post, search internet for mdbc and park bo gum , kim yoo jung and jinyoung pictures/videos and count down to moondays.. I cant imagine after mdbc ends, what I will be doing. Probably rewatch and rewatch?! Haha

Just watching this show and some thoughts came to mind. I could very well be wrong also.
My theory was that Ra on 's father was part of the rebellion that rose against the court due to poverty suffered by the people. He was one of the leaders who galvanised people robbed the rich and gave to the poor and that created a lot of insecurity amongst the nobles. The rebels even went to the palace and attempted to bring down a king whom they think was weak. But I think all these were due to PM Kim's antics as his corrupt ways had brought suffering to the people and made the king useless in his rule. PM Kim's ways were cruel and corrupt while the king wanted to be benevolent but was unable to. PM Kim furthered cemented his power when he killed the queen and removed the influence of the queen's family and made the king marry his daughter (from what I decipher so far)
I am not sure if Ra On's family were nobles who joined the poor people in revolting against the court or who revolted against the loss of power of the queen's family?
Hopefully more clarity can be shed later. I only know now that PM Kim wants the rebels curbed and she is in a dangerous position.
