I just cant forget how our cp look in his wedding attire. So heartbreakingly handsome and the sadness in his eyes is so piercing. Even haeyon looked sad. Its bound to be a heartbreaking episode and I really wonder how the loose ends will be tied. I still hope for a happy ending!

I fell in love with mdbc from episode 2 onwards. I watched for kjy but fell for pbg. Now I am just looking out for his old shows and news updates. I am crazily in love!

Dong yeon is so young and he is a great singer and guitarist too.jinyoung is also super talented. All these k stars are so talented! If they speak english or mandarin, can you imagine how much bigger they could become?

Morning! The thread jumped so much. I didnt think cp was rude. Its more like shocked and thrn anger at been intruded. Hence he told hy not to go there again. He wanted his own private sanctuary to think of raon. His character has always been direct and he ask questions when in doubt. Confrontational sometimes and he tackle a problem by its bullhorns. He didnt spare any ammunition to question the dumb and dumber minister about his gold and why he was still in court though he was dismissed. In other words, he was just been direct with hy. I appreciate this part of him as he wont give any false hopes and hy need to mend her heart as she went into the marriage with eyes wide open.
Scholar jung and his princess's role is not totally useless. From beginning scholar jung was the reason raon was writing love letters for him to princess and created that fateful meeting with cp. without them, its not so easy for raon to meet cp and for cp to have a reason to help her pass the eunuch exam when she was trying her mightiest to escape. So i dont see any wasted characters in this show. Plus scholar jung ( he isnt a eunuch by the way) was there to showcase how cp changed the exam question last minute and he managed to ace it hence reducing the no of kims who passed the exam. He was also seen as advisig cp on the assasination since there is no ally on cp's side. Their screen time brings some lightness to the drama which is ik angst territory now. As pdnim said, its a youth fusion sageuk and coming of age drama, not meant to be a melo. So there are different elements to balance it.
I dont think editing anyone's post will reduce our enjoyment of the drama or change it. Lets just enjoy it while it last as we only have 4 more episodes of it!

I suspect thr guy with thr moustache is the guy whom by reported to beforr he knew eunuch sang sang was the head of cloud society. By and eunuch sang sang talked about traitors in their society when by mentioned sang sang hid his identity to catch traitors. I wonder if this is the guy who betrayed them.
I dont know how to wait till next week but because our otp met and hugged in the last scene, I felt I could get through the week easier. Again i have never been so crazy over a drama. Pgm and kyj are slaying their roles so well! Same for jinyoung !

Just love how park bo gum can be so versatile. Never have any actor's acting touch me this way. It feels like i am in his world and when he cries, I cry with him. I hope he will stay well with their current crazy schedule and really hope the team keep up with their health and have enough sleep.

Woke this morning with a heavy heart. Mdbc stirred in me emotions like a roller coaster ride and Its so crazy. Cp got my heart reeling when he cries or happy or get shocked: the emotions were so jarring when he was smiling happily like a lovestruck fool to the end scene when u felt his heart drop.
Brilliant scene, acting and super music . My heart was in a million small pieces. We need more strength for tonight! Group hug everyone!

The last scene when he looked so shocked and broken hearted slayed me. Park bo gum u r rocking it! My heart just break to a million pieces when I knew raon left and when he found out her identity. It broke again when he knew she left. I feel the life sucked out of me and the song just put the nail in the coffin. I can only hope for a happy ending. Gosh!!

think we should appreciate mdbc for the drama abd forget about the negative publicity since one man's meat is another's poison. I am happy with this show and thats it. Not everyone appreciates drama anyway.
lets just say the level of journalism these days is very much on grabbing attention with click bait headlines.
Anyway , dreading work tomorrow and yet happy about moonday. Conflicting feelings!

I just watched KBS 2015 awards when he was a host together with Kim So hyun and he sang some part of one candle by G.O.D and I thought he sounded so good. He looked super handsome in the awards ceremony too.
I watched bits of Reply1988 and I am in love with his character Choi Taek. He managed to make Taekie all vulnerable, sweet, manly and cool, dorky all at the same time. I didnt watch the rest of the reply series but only watched 88 just for him.
Now I am listening to R88 OSTs and just loving the chemistry he has with hyeri. I think he has loads of chemistry with his costars. I hope he gets some rest and wont feel too pressured after MDBC.
I hope he stay true to himself and that his career will grow long and strong.

Love thr insights by jilia and after your explanation the song indeed seems v apt. Totally no knowledge of korean language so can only understand the english words of "love is over".
Work has been awfully busy so no time to come in to post. This forum is amazing, moving at lightning speed. I like the last two episodes just aired and the progress is fast! With only 6 more episofes, i think i worry more about how to fill my post mdbc void. Probably i will marathon and rewatch.

Morning! I watched yof africa and 2d1n and really got swept away by his positivity and how he always serves others. In yof africa, I enjoy the touching moments and his friendship with the others. In 2d1n, I enjoy how his elders tease him and how he take care of them as the maknae. His star is rising like a rocket and I hope he will stay positive and happy as reporters will definitely keep asking him about his private life etc. hope he stay true to himself and may his career grow more.

Morning chingus! Indeed we should keep the positivity flowing and be thankful we have such a nice drama keeping us engaged, giving us ample fodder for analysis and emotional roller coaster.
I didnt rewatch mdbc over weekend and sort of ease my angst abit. Then viola today is the day though I will only get to watch thr episodes with subs tomorrow.
Lets enjoy the songs, the ride while it last as its only another 8 episodes.

Thank you so much for sharing the lyrics of the songs! I love the r88 osts and listen to them daily. The lyrics is so meaningful and heartbreaking.
I love how pgm's eyes sparkle and tear up when he listened to the song in the ceremony. He looked so emotional its touching to see.
