    Subs are not up ! And yeah it would have been nice however, we have to remember the censors. The cuts were made so the actors would not be banned.  The replay had to be cut to protect them. Think about the other series ( UT, AB, G. UCL,) those actors are never seen together because of the ban and mgt companies.  It is what it is. Even the Youtube videos are geo-tracked so it's hard to download and repost - I've seen videos taken down from FB because they have been tracked even on YT - so Youku Bestie is going to great lengths not only to protect the actors but to not have to take the series down from their platform.  

    If anyone watched Uncontrolled Love (2016) you know they had two endings - the BE aired and the HE was sold on usb on Taobao.  So we've come a long way. And yeah, there are clips of the cut scenes around...but the replays are edited and after watching the paid live...I was not surprised at the replay being edited...They left the 7nails game...so that's something !

    Even some hotel in Suzhou actually gave the fans, if they know you're here for the concert or WoH fans, they'll give you WoH posters for free:joy:

    I hope all of you have fun watching it live, I'll probably watch it some other time or wait for people to recap it.

    Hopefully ZZH and GJ can work together again soon and we don't have to wait 20 years like Hu Jun and Liu Ye.

    The only reason I bought on Youku is because you can watch the concert years from now...I think 10...LOL although I don't know if 10years from now I want to watch a #WOH concert however it's a backup in case YT goes down. But I do watch other drama's on Youku so it made sense to buy membership for a while.

    @WuzetianIt is cheaper than if you buy the concert only on Youku. Youku sell it 68 RMB for each date so in total you pay 136 RMB just for the concert only, which is slightly higher than USD$21. It is also easier to navigate Youtube premium than the Youku app, so it's more convenient for most people. 

    At least Youku give people who wants to watch the concert more options. I'm just worried the streaming will crash/slow, if too many people are streaming it.

     

    Edit: Actually in the US it might be more expensive if you have sales tax on top of the subscription price. I forgot that US has that stupid thing where they don't give you the final price until you're at checkout. Do you guys pay sales tax for digital subscription?

    I paid 19.99 through YouTube and I also purchased the concerts through Youku where I have premium. I think the streaming will be fine if they know how many people are watching to adjust the stream - it's not public, not everyone can watch. But we'll see.

    Thank you I am Youku VIP so I watched the series as it aired and of course all the BTS when they drop so I finished.  It's a stellar series - one of the best Wuxia that I've seen in a while.  When I need a fix - I watch YT.:glasses:

    Been a while since I've strolled through Soompi...got a notifiers from an old poster so I thought I'd see if there was a WOH thread...and yes there is !! I'm sure you all know what was dubbed and what was actually said by the actors at times was very different...AvenueX is my goto for Chinese drama's of all genre's...thought I'd share. She's gone deep on WOH as many of us have between watching the BTS's that drop daily to the TV shows GJ and ZZH appear on...I even bought two days of streaming on Youku...:hypehype: anyway hope you enjoy AvenueX !

    I think that TOL is one of the best adaptations of a novel that I have seen to date. The amount of creativity that went into turning a novel from a page by page  regurgitation into a unique visual series is awe inspiring...they took a theme and wrapped it around the novel.  I wish more screenwriters would do the same instead of showing me what I already read.  This is a great example and the editing is spot on.

    Yes I'm  watching 2M2 - I think it's fabulous !  The next History is suppose to release in Sept or October I last heard.I will fill in with Romil and Jugal ( Indian BL ):)

    I think the actor development division of gmmtv is no joke ( reminds me of JYP). Earth has been around since Waterboyy with no real ship and a moderately small fanbase. White comes with a huge fanbase ( LS).And since they haven't left acting, bringing the two of them together albeit brief  in TOL was testing the waters....I'd say we'll see more of them down the road...:phew:

    well remember the target audience is 13-18 (girls).   so boys are viewed differently than men...( ok don't start..LOL ). Most of the BL coming out this fall is blue shorts or college. even though too started out that way...I'm appreciative for taking us 4 years in the future...it brought close and they were adulating by then.

    What l liked about HCTM was the fact that there was an underlying mystery to be solved.

    When you find it...let me know:lol:...or sa why don't you just start a forum...:P  HCTM--was different which made it work - and the OS cpl was nice...

    the current theory...and you know there are many is that what we are watching IS Gun and Off...not Kai and Third...and that portions of this series..especially E12 is about them.  My position is, if there is a big reveal now...ok but it things are business as usual the theory can stay in theory land...LOL

    This episode was like an Hot Fudge ice-cream Sundae.  The subs is the cherry.  I couldn't wait...I'll get my fruit later...Truthfully, even with subs there was no question as to what was happening...What was said, How it was said, and what happened after...2 out of three ain't bad...LOL
