  1. The fact that Jang Wook and Mu Deok ship name is Wookie Deokie :please:

Man is anyone else kinda sad that we only got like 20-30 mins worth of content for our main leads today? I was hoping we get more Wookie-Deokie moments in today’s episode. The preview for episode 11 deceived us since it looks like some scenes from the preview is in episode 12 instead..

Jang Wook confessing to Mu Deok but she says that he’s been poisoned instead and she can use this as a weakness. I mean she isn’t wrong since she can use the blue jade egg to motivate Jang Wook. The amount of angst and hurt in Jang Wook face when he finds out Mu Deok made a bet wth the blue jade egg that he gave her on the line :sad1: Mu Deok is all about tough love and knows she gotta push Jang Wook to the edge for him to take action. I love how embarrassed Jang Wook was when he confessed but thinks Mu Deok likes Seo Yul though haha… He was totally acting all upset and salty after Mu Deok told him he has been poisonedz

And yes, Crown Prince. Yes, indeed you were deceived by Filthy Mu Deok :loolz: As for the bet between Mu Deok and Crown Price… 7 out of the 10 golden toads are gone and I won’t be surprised if Jang Wook wins the last match and gets the blue jade back. But man I hope Jang Wook will prove how strong of a mage he is soon because right now the other mages think he’s weaker than them :( Also he is being portrayed as being weaker than any of the other mages.

Also that feeling when side lead couple’s ship sails before your main lead does…(Dang Gu and Cho Yeon) They really jumped on the bandwagon and said they are going to get married to each other

Oh boy, Jin Ho Gyeong’s husband working with Jin Mu. I actually wonder if that isn’t him and possibly got soul shifted…maybe not idk, but Jin Mu trying to deceive Jin Ho Gyeong about Bu Yeon and bring that girl who’s Mu Deok “friend” in the picture. I’m kinda worried about the Jin family since the only good people seem to be Cho Yeon and Jin Ho Gyeong (and Bu Yeon).. hopefully headmaster Jin and master Lee can take action to prevent Jin Mu from revealing the ice stone. Okay but speaking of Headmaster Jin and Master Lee…Master Lee and Maidservant Kim are actually cute together and I totally ship them too! But headmaster Jin and maidservant Kim are good together too…just that Jin 진짜 눈치가 없어 or hes terrible at romance lol.. He really doesn’t know how to show his love :joy:

  2. Damn things just don’t get better for Gye Hoon. I feel so bad for him :crybaby: I can’t believe the white haired ahjussi had the nerve to ask WHY Gye Young is haunting him. Like WHY DO YOU THINK she is? You were literally the last person to see her alive and could’ve saved her life, but decided to leave her behind instead…She literally told him that there was a bad guy and someone is following her..

I honestly can’t imagine how Gye Hoon feels about all of this and can’t say whether he can or cannot get mad at Da Hyun’s mom. Usually I hate it when the leads break up and I’m not saying that I will like it if Da Hyun and Gye Hoon break up, but in this case, I can understand why Gye Hoon would want to (and from the preview, it seems like the two are going to :() and if it happens. I spoke too soon about the breakup trope not happening lol

But oh man, we are in the final stretch for this drama and I think we got a lot of our questions answered today. The only two questions I have is 1) what is the motivate of the culprit kidnapping Gye Young and Da Hyun and 2) did the culprit just kill Gye Young once he found her? Oh also I still wonder how the Link works but it seems like Da Hyun will figure that out in the next episode based on the preview. Looks like Da Hyun made some promise with Gye Young?

  3. Jinho is the mother, Gye Hoon is the father and Gae Hoon is their child :loolz: I’m loving the role this dog is playing in this drama  Also he is sooo cute :please: I have the same breed of dog, west highland terrier or Westie, so i loving all the scenes with the dog…

OMG I really love this couple and their communication. I think I mentioned it before and mentioned it again, they literally are the most healthiest couple AND ACTUALLY talk to each other about things, not keeping stuff from each other. I am SO glad that the two of them talked about the “breakup” and actually ended up not breaking up. This drama defeated the noble idiocy trope!! Also I thought it was so sweet what Gye Hoon said and he basically confessed to Da Hyun again. The way he said to not abandon him…. I just hope we don’t see Gye Hoon trying to break up with Da Hyun next episode.

So now we know that there are actually two culprits from Eun Gye Young and Da Hyun’s missing case 18 years ago. It looks like the white hair ahjusshi might’ve been the real last witness of Gye young before she died or disappeared again. Actually still want to know what exactly happened to her since it hasn’t been revealed how exactly she died. Will the ahjusshi tell Gye Hoon about it since we see him in front of the restaurant? I’m wondering if the culprit that Da Hyun’s mom supposedly killed actually died or what if it was similar to Lee Jin Geun where they thought he died but is actually alive. Thank you to Da Hyun’s mom for telling Da Hyun the truth because it is something that happened to her and she’s getting her memories back, so she does deserve to know.

but oh man, we got 3 episodes left and im not worried that the drama will be able to wrap everything up properly. I’m just sad that this drama is coming to an end :sad1:

  4. Omomo the preview for episode 11 got me SQUEALING!!!! Are we finally getting the ROMANTIC SCENES?! im screaming yall, we are finally getting romantic scenes between Mu Deok and Jang Wook!!

Okay but the exam trio is something I never thought we needed but they are HILARIOUS!! I love the fact that all three of them were willing to cheat to let Mu Deok pass the exam stage :loolz: and the way Seo Yul and Dang Gu looked at Crown Prince to deliver the exam paper was PRICELESS! They are definitely adorable all together. All three of them were rooting for Mu Deok!

Speaking of Mu Deok, even though she got some help with the exam, I’m glad that the drama showed her passing every round through her own strength and without the help of anyone else. I was kinda thinking for the fitness stage, the exam trio would help her but she did it on her own!!! I’m so proud of Mu Deok! All of this to get into Songrim and be with Jang Wook :please: Also Jang Wook managing to figure out the love letter too.

The scene where Mu Deok ran to see Jang Wook when he snuck out was super adorable and you can just see how much they care for one another. I was squealing while watching Mu Deok and Jang Wook in the boat scene. Man this drama just keeps getting better and better. The wait is slowly becoming hard for the drama.. I want episode 11 ASAP!! I. Need. My. Ship. To. SAILL!!!!! I’m kinda worried though because I’m not sure if Mu Deok/Naksu would accept Jang Wook. Just because of her situation and once she gets her powers back, she might separate from Jang Wook. Honestly knowing Jang Wook though, he probably won’t let go of her that easily.

  5. LOL I can’t even with Master Lee and him saying that he doesn’t care for all the alcohol or women but the moment he runs into Jang Wook’s maidservant, he becomes all flustered and nervous :loolz: There’s gonna be a love triangle between her, Master Lee and Park Jin. Also omg any scenes with Park Jin and Maidservant Kim are  HILARIOUS!! The way they were bickering and lowkey throwing shade at each other. Master Heo is right and Jin 진짜 눈치가 없어..in other words, he really doesn’t know how to read the room :joy: Poor guy, he lost Do Hwa to Jang Gang and now he might lose Maidservant Kim to Master Lee LOL

So it seems like this episode further hints that Mu Deok is part of the Jin family since it seems like the friend (that’s looking for Mu Deok) has the eye mask that Cho Yeon’s mother gave to Bu Yeon? I can’t help but think that there is a slight chance that Mu Deok isn’t Bu Yeon and the Hong sisters are falsely leading us to think that but have something else planned for us lol…but at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mu Deok is really Bu Yeon. Actually it seems like Bu Yeon was the one that found the ice stone, so could it be possible that she absorbed the energy for herself? Or somewhere between when Bu Yeon found it, the ice stone split into two? Idk we still have little information about what exactly happened to Bu Yeon after she found the ice stone and how she disappeared, so it’s hard to predict.

Okay who else knew the moment Heo Yun Ok came into the picture that Master Yeo is trying to set his granddaughter up with Jang Wook? I knew that wasn’t the last we would see her.. Looks like Yun Ok will be the 2nd female leadsince it seems like she likes Jang Wook since he saved her. but of course he doesn’t have any interest in herrr because his heart of for Mu Deok!!! Which by the way, Mu Deok now knows that Jang Wook has feelings for her and hopefully knows that hewon’t abandon her that easily? I love how both of them want to be with each other even in Songrim and even though we know Jang Wook’s personality and he would TOTALLY break the rules to see her, he doesn’t do anything and follows the rules to protect her. I’m loving for their moments and interactions. The hug was super cute too… Aw the two of them reminiscing about each other too..

Man we’re not even halfway through this show (If we’re counting part 2) and it just keeps getting better and better. The wait is so hard for this drama… For episode 10, we see in the preview that the Headmaster Jin won’t teach Jang Wook even though he’s in Songrim?? Man how much does Wook have to go through to become a mage. also that scene with Mu Deok and Jang Wook towards the end of the preview, are we potentially getting our first kiss scene?!! this is just me overthinking and just want one but it’s episode 10…halfway through the drama and something interesting always happens in the midpoint of kdramas!!! Let’s see what happens

  6. @orion00 @kwayteow_mama this is why I am swooning over Lee Jae Wook over this drama. I’ve been watching all the dramas he’s in! I actually watched Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (not because LJW is in it but rather) because it was on my Netflix watch list so I was like, let’s try it. And I knew Go Ara is in it too. I personally liked Lee Jae Wook’s character in that drama although the ending can be debatable since many people didn’t like the ending :sweatingbullets:

As for Extraordinary You, I agree @backstreetboysfan and @AlterEgoNo9. His character in that drama is absolute garbage, like personality wise. I thought his acting is good in that drama but omg his character just overshadowed any other feelings I had about him that I didn’t like him. Plus Kim Seok Woo is in that drama as the male lead too :kiss_wink:

One thing ive noticed with Lee Jae Wook and is something good to his acting career is the range of characters he portrays in all of his dramas. His debut drama was memories of alahambra, which was a bad character. Extraordinary You, hateful character but at same time heart wrenching backstory. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, a sweet and gentleman kind of character? When the Weather is Fine, I haven’t watched this drama but apparently this is closest to LJW actual personality in real life? Search WWW, I’m watching this right now and he portrays such a kind, pure and puppy-like character. Now we got Alchemy of Souls, a sageuk and he’s a childish but smart and kind-like character. In other words he’s a vesitile actor and all of his characters/projects are different in some ways. At least he hasn’t been choosing roles with similar characters! I think when he gets older, he’ll become a incredible actor. Just my thoughts though :D

Okay enough about Lee Jae Wook, can someone PLEASE explain to me why it matters that the king’s soul was in Jang Gang’s body when Do Hwa and Jang Gang had Jang Wook? Because I mean physically it’s still Jang Gang body?? Just the soul that’s different. Oh actually is it because of the King’s energy in Jang Gang’s body that the whole birth of Jang Wook is a big deal? I mean technically Jang Wook is still Jang Gang’s son… :sweatingbullets:

Am I seeing a pattern here with all the sageuks you’re watching and their MLs, chingu?

    :loolz:

Okay but to be fair chingu, my top favorite actors are Ji Sung, park Hyung Sik, Yoo Seung Ho, Yeo Jin Goo, Junho. Lee Hyun woo too but he hasn’t been in any dramas lately (except Money Heist)

I’m sure Lee Jae Wook isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he definitely is charisma in a way! I can see why so many people loved him even before this drama started

  8. Okay but yall, is anyone else swooning over Lee Jae Wook? I watched him in Extraordinary You but didn’t really like his character in that drama, but THIS DRAMA. Oh my goodess, his visuals in this drama is amazing :please: This boy is younger then me but my goodness, I am falling for him…

I feel like he is really nailing it as Jang Wook too. I watched the Netflix bamboo video with the alchemy of souls cast and Jung So Min, Min Hyun and Seung Ho we’re saying that Jang Wook character and personality is so close to Lee Jae Wook in real life, so that’s why he’s able to portray Jang Wook so well. AND I can totally see that since Lee Jae Wook blends so well with his character. Okay I’m done fangirling over him :joy: I just had the urge to share my thoughts about Lee Jae Wook. He’s also an extrovert so I can totally see that in his interviews :o

  9. And the plot thickens… So did the drama reveal to us who is responsible for Gye Young’s disappearance and death? Is it really that ahjusshi? I feel like we are almost there getting the truth but I think the other Ahjussi that owns the blue gate house is somehow involved with everything too. Maybe an accomplice? Actually I also get the feeling he might be some red herring too… Wow Lee Jin Geun went full circle, going back into that refrigerator lol. I guess that fridge is just perfect to put bodies in :sweatingbullets:

Of course what I expected happens. The route of I-was-involved-with-your-sisters-disappearance-so-we-can’t-be-together trope. I mentioned this in my post yesterday and I just had a feeling it was going to happen… Ugh I hope the two of them won’t be separated for too long. Da Hyun regained part of her memories but I feel like the last part of her memory that she can’t remember is important since not only she might’ve seen the culprits face but also what her mom and grandma did that they’re hiding from her. I still want to know exactly what happened to Gye Young and how she died. I don’t believe that she’s still alive and she’s 100 percent dead for sure. As for Gye Hoon’s father, maybe he’s still alive. I’m not sure, but if the drama suddenly decided to bring Gye Young in now when we have 4 episodes left…I think it would be abrupt and off since there were no clues or hints that Gye Young is alive.

Finally, I’m starting to think that Da Hyun link with Gye Hoon isn’t as strong as Gye Hoon’s link with Da Hyun. Gye Hoon’s link is definitely more stronger but it seems like Da Hyun is only able to feel Gye Hoon’s emotion when he has a sudden or strong feeling/emotion, i.e crying while looking at his fathers picture since his father was mentioned again and also when he was being strangled by the mystery man. This is just my theory since we haven’t seen many instances of Da Hyun feeling Gye Hoon’s emotion. Now once again it could be because Gye Hoon isnt as emotional but at the same time, I feel like there were instances where Gye Hoon was crying, sad or anxious but we see that Da Hyun didn’t feel anything.

We have four episodes left of this drama and I hope the drama will be able to address all the questions that haven’t been answered:

    1. Is the ahjusshi we saw in today’s episode really the culprit of Gye Young’s disappearance and death?

    2. Are Gye Young and Gye Hoon’s father actually dead?

    3. What exactly did Da Hyun’s mom and grandma do 18 years ago that they’re hiding from Da Hyun?

    4. What role does the white hair ahjusshi have in Gye Young’s disappearance?

    5. How does the Link between Gye Hoon and Da Hyun work? (Or if they can at least explain a little bit about this, that’ll be nice)

Also… The Westie name is officially Gae Hoon  And the dog even knows his name haha… I love it :loolz:

  10. So if Jung So Min doesn’t end up coming back for the second part of this drama, that must mean that something happens to Mu Deok in the drama then? Possibly Naksu is able to get her actual body back despite it being burned? Maybe with some powers, Naksu will be able to get her original body. Especially since they said in the article that if they reveal whether Jung So Min will be  in part 2 or not will lead to spoilers… I can’t imagine anyone else acting as Mu Deok though and with Jang Wook. Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook have amazing chemistry! I don’t mind seeing Naksu and Jang Wook too if they go that route in part 2.

Oh man though, the fact that this will be two parts. Why can’t they just do it all in one part :crybaby: I don’t really like 2nd season or a part 2 for dramas. Just finish it all in one so I don’t have to wait that long

Also I know what you guys mean about Hong Sisters drama. Like hotel de Luna was AMAZING (in my opinion). Great start to finish, and then we have Hwayugi where the ending is just…questionable. So Hong sister dramas can definitely be a hit or miss for sure.

  11. So we finally know what the connection is with Gye Young and Da Hyun. I was thinking that if she wasn’t a witness to what happened to Gye Young, then she must’ve been a victim then. Seems like this is the case since Lee Jin Geun was the one that led BOTH of them to the red gate? Seriously this guy.. This show cannot make him hate him any more and want to call him a 새끼…(play on Korean word) But I hope the drama isn’t going the route of I-was-involved-with-your-sisters-disappearance-so-we-can’t-be-together trope. I think the preview is deceiving us a little bit because when Da Hyun says that she thinks of Gye Young whenever she sees Gye Hoon, we see the scene go to them letting go of hands. I’m assuming that’s after we see the last scene in today’s episode since they’re wearing the same close and they’re just saying goodbye. Previews trying to trick the viewers..

Gye Hoon getting jealous is hilarious. I was like, he is TOTALLY jealous when we was trying to show off his knowledge in wine compared to the employee :loolz:These two though, Da Hyun and Gye Hoon, are terrible at secret dating :joy: It seems like they aren’t even trying to hide it from people around them. First from Jin Hoo and Eun Jung and now Ji Won Tak and the police officer woman haha.. Soon enough, the whole neighborhood will find out about it!

Finally, ugh did anyone else’s heart break for Gye Hoon when it is his birthday and he went to visit his mother? :sad1: Like his mom made seaweed soup for him at first but threw it out because of Gye Young. Then the effort Gye Hoon tried to put in to cook and be with his mom, but that’s all useless because she’s just thinking about Gye Young. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Gye Hoon’s parents are truly selfish for only thinking about Gye Young. Gye Hoon is your child too! And they KNOW that he thinks he’s the blame for Gye Young and even though they don’t say it directly to him, their actions speak otherwise and are indirectly saying it to him. I cried for him… It’s sad that he’s so used to this and became numb from it. I feel like he should just let it all out and not keeping it in.

I know some people had theories about Gye Young being alive, but I doubt that’s the case. I’m pretty sure she died when she disappeared 18 years ago. The show hasn’t really hinted that Gye Young is alive. Instead it has been more focusing on the mystery of WHAT happened to Gye Young, so the shows been unraveling that. If the show suddenly says that Gye Young is alive, I feel like that would be abrupt since there wasn’t any build up to it

  12. Also gotta mention Jang Wook asking his master, Mu Deok, where he should go first before deciding :please: Of course he’s asking his master to guide him where to go. The glances they gave each other and Mu Deok nodding her head in assurance, ugh so cute. MVP Mu Deok though for using her blood so that Jang Wook can use tansu against the Crown Prince! That Tansu knocked CP out!

Finally, the preview where Mu Deok and Jang Wook hug and both smile. Aww the two of them must’ve missed each other since I’m thinking based on the preview, Mu Deok won’t be able to go inside of Songrim where Jang Wook is.

  13. Of course the preview tricks us all and Jang Wook didn’t actually end up switching souls. They really got me there!! I thought Jang Wook would really end up getting soul shifted… The way Mu Deok/Naksu and Jang Wook care for one another is just too precious. Also real Mu Deok was the one that saved Jang Wook from the soul shifting. I hope they will explain Mu Deok’s true identity more

The battle that we’ve all been waiting for is here and Jang Wook vs. crown prince!! My goodness, the way he fought, you can just see how much he improved from the beginning. He really goes better with his swordsmanship and now spells! I feel like a proud person seen Jang Wook fight and win. And omg he was so 멋있어 (cool) when he was fighting Gil Ju with the blue cloth. Everyone gotta know that it was him that fought Gil Ju now, right?!?

Also yay for Master Lee vouching for Jang Wook and saying he was there teaching Wook tansu. (When we all know it’s Naksu/Mu Deok that did it haha..) now that Jang Wook is accepted into Songrik, he’ll really become a mage and learn how to do sorcery and spells properly!

Hmmm about the master-pupil route between Jang Wook and Mu Deok, Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min did say it’s a romance drama: so let us not lose hope yet because I still believe there will be romance  I’m rooting for you, Jang Wook and Mu Deok/Naksu!!

  14. Oh snap is the duel between Jang Wook and Crown Prince happening next episode based on the stills? That means Wook is probably back in his body right? Or what if the preview is just deceiving us all and Jang Wook never really got soul shifted…Hmmm :isannoyed:

Btw is anyone falling for Lee Jae Wook while watching this drama? Omg he’s just so handsome  No? Just me? That’s okay, I will continue to admire his handsomeness, adorable smile and ESFP (?) personality.

  15. @frozentundra I have to agree with you about Jang Wook’s character and his development. From the beginning, he has been quite smart and was able to figure out that it was Naksu in Mu Deok’s body. I like that he uses his brain and in episode 7, he knew that something was up with Mu Deok and taking him to the temple so he demanded she tell him what’s going on. I think the soul shifting will be interesting and I’m curious to see how long Gil Joo will be in Jang Wook’s body. Ugh I think I also really like Wook because it’s Lee Jae Wook playing him

@iamsherry I think the same thing as well and that Mu Deok is the ice stone, but people are saying that she is still part of the Jin family. I feel like though, the reason why she was able to open the door and break the mirror is because of the ice stone power. But there is still a possibility that she is part of the Jin family and the ice stone is inside of her?

  16. I’m not freaking out, I’m not freaking out, IM NOT FREAKING OUT. OMG what an episode!!! WOW so Jang Wook and Gil Ju really do end up switching souls. This will be very interesting now and I’m curious and excited to see what Gil Ju will do in the next episode while in Jang Wook’s body. Man this drama just keeps getting better and BETTER.

Jang Wook making the bird’s egg out of the jade stone is the sweetest thing ever :please: His face and expression when he told Mu Deok about it was so precious. He totally likes Mu Deok and it’s adorable. I know many people are on the Mu Deok/Naksu and Yul ship but I am TEAM Mu Deok/Naksu and Jang Wook ALL THE WAY. When Mu Deok was blinded and she saw that the Crown Prince, Yul and Dang Gi were there I just knew Jang Wook would be the one to take her hehehe….that hand holding

Okay I know many people think that Mu Deok is from the Jin family but we got introduced to the ice stone in this episode so heres another theory. What if Mu Deok is actually the ice stone in human form, which is why Naksu is able to stay in Mu Deok’s body and open the gate? I’m sure the stone is powerful enough to open it. Just another theory but it could also be that a) Mu Deok is really apart of the Jin family and absorb the ice stone power or b) Mu Deok is the ice stone itself.

Finally Naksu was going to give Jang Wook up but she couldn’t after he gave her the gift of the bird’s egg, so they came up with a plan themselves to defeat Dang Gi. Well I’m super excited for the next episode and can’t wait to see what ll happen!

Also LOL at Seo Yul losing his sense of direction because he was scared :loolz:and then Crown Prince holding onto Jang Wook. Man I’m starting to love this trio..

  17. I saw people talking about the drama vs the webtoon and how Babi is getting all of Soonrok's scene in the drama. I don't think we've had an announcement about season 3 yet so I also won't be surprised if Babi is the endgame with the drama too. I should say that I did not read the webtoon but I do know what happens in the webtoon and who Yumi ends up with. However, I'm okay with where the drama is going with Babi and Yumi since I haven't read the webtoon at all. I don't mind if Yumi and Babi are the endgame but if that's the case, I hope. the two of them will clear up any misunderstanding and the feelings that Babi might POSSIBLY HAVE for Da Eun??

That being said, Da Eun is in the drama now and that makes me VERY WORRISOME about Babi and Yumi's relationship, because I do know what happens in the webtoon... Also omg I didn't even recognize that Da Eun is Shin Ye Eun LOL! She looks so different from He Is Psychometric. omg, but I'm happy to see the reunion between Jinyoung and Shin Ye Eun :D

I haven't watched the latest two episodes because I don't want to go through the wait to see what happens with Babi and possibly his feelings for Da Eun. LOL, so I'm going to wait a couple weeks to binge watch it xD

    • Love 1
  18. I'm thinking that Da Hyun is probably an indirect cause of Gye Young's disappearance and death seeing how Lee Jin Geun says she isn't a witness. I don't think she's the reason why Gye Young died (but I bet that's what she will believe when she gets her memory back) and I sense some self-blaming happening and noble idiocy coming with Da Hyun being linked to Gye Young's death. I hope Gye Hoon and Da Hyun don't break up because she was involved with Gye Young's death. DRAMA, I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO GYE YOUNG. Lets be honest though, the drama will probably not reveal the truth until the very end.

Wow I can't believe we have only 3 weeks left for this drama. It has sure been a ride and I loved seeing the relationship between Gye Hoon and Da Hyun progress. Okay but all those romance scenes between them really got me, ahh :bashful: LOL the fact that Gye Hoon apologized after kissing Da Hyun and then she was like "You don't have to be sorry, you did good" Haha omg, girl... Your ment is hilarious sometimes. Even I ask you the same thing and wonder what you're saying at times :loolz: Awww it's so sweet that despite Gye Hoon blaming himself, being a coward, and thinking he can't be happy, he is still willing to put the effort in with Da Hyun  OMG AND HIM SPEAKING BANMAL AAHHHH, my heart can't take anymore of these sweet moments.

I'm glad that Da Hyun is now linked with Gye Hoon but I wish we can see more moments of Da Hyun feeling Gye Hoon's emotion but I think the reason why we haven't seen it has to do with Gye Hoon not showing or portraying much emotion? I think he talked about this in the first episode if I recall correctly. We still have 6 episode left so plenty of time for us to see Da Hyun feel Gye Hoon's emotion, right? I would just love to see more of it :D

This is currently my favorite drama out of all the ongoing dramas that I'm watching right now (Plus I might be a little Yeo Jin Goo biased because I love YJG), and I am absolutely enjoying it. The only drama that I actually am losing some sleep over lol... The wait for the next episode will be painful but in the meantime, I'll just be watching the previous episodes :D

  19. Gye Hoon, you deserve to be happy :crybaby: Today is definitely Gye Hoon’s episode and we finally get to find out about Gye Hoon’s father! I was actually wondering what happened to him, I mean I figured that he passed away or something but I’m glad we got an explaination for it. My heart really broke for Gye Hoon in this episode because we all know that he’s just pretending to be okay about his sister and his family, but in reality he’s hurt, broken, and sad about it. He just doesn’t show it. Whenever people were saying it’s Gye Hoon’s fault for his sister disappearing, I’m just like please you don’t need to say that to his face :( He’s broken as it is already!!

Okay but I DID NOT expect that kiss scene!! Omg! I’ve been waiting for our ship to sail and it finally has but wow I did not expect Gye Hoon to suddenly go in for the kiss. One thing I really appreciate about Gye Hoon and Da Hyun is how honest they are with each other??? Like I love how they don’t keep secrets from each other and tell each other everything. I really love the communication between the two of them (I hope I’m not jinxing it by saying this because we still have 7 episodes left and the fact that they look happy in the next episode’s preview makes we worried because when it’s NOT the last episode of the drama and the main leads are all happy, you know that something is going proceed that happiness..).

One other thing I need to say is how selfish Gye Hoon’s parents can be. Sure their daughter is important to them too but they also have a son who literally BLAMES HIMSELF for his dongsaeng’s disappearance and death. I feel bad that Gye Hoon’s parents only pay attention about Gye Young but they don’t really care for Gye Hoon. But I do understand that losing their one and only daughter is also heartbreaking and traumatizing for them so that’s why I’m not SUPER angry at his parents. I just feel really bad for Gye Hoon because his mom can’t get over Gye Young, refused to eat sometimes and still lingers in the room that she made to mock Gye Young’s room and on the hand, his dad spent the rest of his life searching for her and leaving his family behind.

Anyways I hope we will figure out exactly what happened to Gye Young soon and it seems like Da Hyun and Jin Geun were both witnesses of Gye Young’s disappearance..

  20. Also I forgot to mention that I think today’s episode heavily hinted that Mu Deok is Buyeon, aka Cho Yeon’s lost sister. I meqn it has been a theory before episode 6 but I feel like the episode pretty much confirms it, which makes sense also because of how Mu Deok is able to handle Naksu’s soul. The question is, what exactly happened to Buyeon and why doesn’t the Jin family recognize Mu Deok.

  21. Lol we have a love rectangle in our hands everyone :joy: Dong Gu likes Cho Yeon but Cho Yeon likes Jang Wook and Jang Wook is falling (?) for Mu Deok/Naksu and Seo Yul likes Naksu. :loolz: Gotta love the love rectangle (wait can we also add that the Crown Prince might potentially fall in love with Naksu too?? Then it doesn’t become a rectangle…)

Another great episode of seeing Mu Deok/Naksu and Jang Wook bickering with each other  Seriously these two are so funny, the way Jang Wook got jealous over Seo Yul calling her master hahaha, he wants to be the only one that can call Mu Deok a master. Also did we just see Jang Wook indirectly say that he likes Mu Deok/Naksu?!

I’m also wondering what will happen to Naksu because she’s in Mu Deok, so will Naksu somehow be able to get her body back? I don’t think she’ll be in Mu Deok forever…(or maybe somehow, Naksu will end up becoming Mu Deok and permanently residing in Mu Deok’s body…Maybe either a)something happens to the real Mu Deok or b) idk… Mu Deok and Naksu do end up separating) Also since technically jang Wook likes Naksu, I’m wonder how or if they will end up with each other? I mean Naksu being an assassin and all…Jang wook being the king star (which btw when they mentioned that in today’s episode, totally hinting and foreshadowing to Jang Wook but I personally don’t think he will end up becoming King)… It seems dark on how the two will end up with each other :sad1: Thia drama does have romance right haha

Finally, I really want to see the battle between the Crown Prince and Jang Wook to see what will happen! I hope they will show it soon :)

EDIT: OMG that ending for episode 6! What is that mirror? So omg that PREVIEW. Are we getting some evil Mu Deok on our hands after she went through the mirror? Or do they all go in the mirror or something to get Mu Deok out? Wow I just have a whole bunch of questions after watching that preview lol.. So does Naksu hand over Jang Wook over then to live? Also looks like more and more people are finding out that Mu Deok is Naksu. Ugh the wait for this drama is going to be terrible

  22. @orion00 @kwayteow_mama I think it has to do with the real Mu Deok and how her body can take Naksu’s soul. That guy with the dog kept emphasizing how it’s possible Mu Deok can handle Naksu’s soul so it probably has to do with something about Mu Deok that the drama hasn’t explained yet. It’s clear that the real Mu Deok is special in some way so I’m guessing the drama will explain it eventually. You know how dramas are and they keep certain things a mystery xD

As for today’s episode, I absolutely love Jang Wook and Mu Deok’s interactions and relationship  As Koreans would they, they have a 티키타카 or love/hate relationship and I am totally for it. The way they bicker with each other is HILARIOUS but at the same time, both of them care for each other. I am so looking forward to more of their character development.

And for the preview, I hope the preview is just deceiving us and what we saw really doesn’t happen..
