Sigh.... the amount of times I sighed after the scene when Lee Yeong cuts the bracelet with the knife and believed what Ra On said, even though he knew she was lying.... My heart hurts for Lee Yeong (and PBG's song playing during that scene didn't help as well) The fact that he cut the bracelet AND decided to go through the wedding because of Ra On said..... When LY was being dressed for the royal wedding, he had zero emotions in his face and looked so lifeless.
The wedding has been delayed (again) for now so let's see what will happen in Episode 16!

Hi everyone!
Silent reader here and I finally decided to join this thread (so late) and comment! I've been looking through the thread and skimming through to see any updates or anything~ I actually started to watch this drama when episode 12 aired but I had my eyes on this drama since park bo gum was announced as the main lead
Can I just say that I love Park Bo Gum's role in this drama and think his acting is so good? I'm sure we can all agree that we all love him in this drama but I also love how all the other actors shine in the drama as well. I think someone else mentioned that it isn't park bo gum who is leading the drama but the other actors are doing a great job as well~
I'm so excited for PBG's OST to come out and that preview....oh my, just melt my heart..
I've been reading that there was a confusion about episode 15 not airing (I know that Scarlet Heart is only having one episode aired for the next three weeks because of the baseball game) but is episode 16 not airing on Tuesday as well?
Are we only getting one episode this week as well?
But I'm super excited for episode 15, especially for the wedding scene~ Not because LY is getting married but to see PBG in the wedding attire hehe~ I'm sad to hear that LY is really getting married but I hope our OTP gets their happy ending~ For now, off to wait for episode 15!!

I absolutely love their moments together and loved how Baek Ah is the first person to run to WS after they realize the tea is poisoned...

Yess I 100% agree with you! Honestly, I can't imagine WS would kill his brothers... I refuse to believe it as well because deep down, he's just a broken man who wants some love from people around him. Under that mask, he's such a kind and compassionate person... The only reason why he acts the way he is now is because of what happened to him in the past and his actions now are a result of all that, not receiving much love and being spited by the people around him. This is one of the reason why I think Wang Soo can be possessive with Hae Soo. He finally found someone he can trust and love, someone who doesn't judge him from his scar and isn't afraid of him... That's why WS doesn't want to let HS go and keep ahold of her.... I think that's why he can be possessive about him but that ending scene just proves what a great and loyal man he is. Not only is he drinking the poison to save the Crown Prince but also for HS as well~ That's just one thing I love about that scene. He endures the pain from the poison to not let anyone see and he is doing it for CP and HS.

I read that the WW X HS ship finally sinks....Thank goodness.... Haha, I'm not saying that I don't like WW but I just prefer our OTP~~ Finally, no more first lead syndrome and moving on to our OTP ;-;

I just finished episode 9 and boy was that a ride... When I was watching Episode 8 and WS was chosen for the rain ritual, I was cheering, Yes Wang So! You go and make it rain so you can be accepted by the King and everyone else. I think it's pretty messed up that the people spit at WS at first because of his scar but when he came around the second time without his mask and his scar covered up, they accepted him... Sigh I guess that's how people can be sometimes....
The end of Episode 9 broke my heart especially the scene after WS left the family dinner. All he was looking for was for some acceptance from his mother for once in his life and in the end she still wanted to use him.. It broke my heart when WS was saying how what was he expect to happen and how he goes to Hae Soo after that? Hae Soo is the only person that accepts WS for who he is and isn't like his mother so I found it so symbolic that he went straight to HS after the family dinner. When HS pushed WS away towards the end though, I was like Nooo please don't do this to WS.. He already got pushed away by his mother... Then WS just swoops in with that forced kiss to HS. I mean I love WS and HS moments but I don't really believe in the forced kiss that WS did... I know how he feels at that moment but idk... :/ Some people were saying how the kiss is symbolic and represents stuff but I am not a huge fan on the whole forced kiss... (BTW when is the WS X HS ship going to sail?!?! HS still loves WW at the moment and I am wondering how she is going to end up stop loving him and start loving WS.)
All those visions HS is having about Wang So.... I hope they aren't true and it's just HS thinking too much about him being a cruel king.. I can't imagine WS killing Eun and his wife...!!!!! (Speaking of Eun, that scene with HS and him...omg, so sweet and heart breaking...) I know some people are saying that WS is truly gruesome and can be a beast but I kind of think otherwise. Just with his interactions with Hae Soo and with Baek Ah sometimes, he can be so sweet and geniune around them. It just makes you think that WS doesn't have to be that cruel person he was in the earlier episodes and he can actually be somebody who is kind and sweet. I don't know what to expect but I don't think WS will turn into that cruel person once again in the later episodes. I mean he is even willing to drink poison to save Hae Soo... That doesn't sound like a cruel and beast person to me... It's just that I've been reading alot of comments how WS is actually cruel and stuff but I don't know.. I can't imagine him doing all of that stuff... Maybe now that he has Hae Soo in his life, he won't turn back to that kind of person.. This is just my opinion though.
But I think we are getting into the good stuff next week~~ I want to see what the aftermath is of the kiss scene and what happens to WS and HS relationship...

Okay, I'm a bit confused about the versions... I saw somewhere on this thread that they said the Dramafever version of this drama is the original version that SBS airs in Korea but when I was reading Dramabeans comments, they said that it's the international version...? Which one is which?
About the kiss scene at the end of episode 9, was the raw version where WS forced kissed her and HS pulled away and they kissed the second time or was it just one straight kiss for episode 9?

I knew it! I knew it, Baek Ah, that you were truly this awesome! You are the best brother and BBF So could ever wish for! How can you not like someone who manages to make Wang So smile?!
This is such a great moment of bonding and understanding between the brothers and I think that another reason why these two get along so well is because they are both little unconventional, very sensitive and perceptive. It’s obvious that BA is already sensing something is going on between So and Hae Soo after he sees So’s reaction when he stands up for HS. It’s both ironic and bittersweet, that something which So’s own full brother orchestrated to humiliate him actually turned into something good, which brought him closer to BA and strenghtened his bond with his half-brother. I love that we get to see the gradual development of their relationship because BA will become So’ best friend, closest ally and biggest supporter.

I expect two things will happen very soon - SO WIIL START TO KISS THE GROUND HAE SOO WALKS ON AND GIVE HER THE MOON (that very one he is staring at because we already know that he would do anything for her). HE REALLY DOES REMEMBER HER EVERY WORD! This is already the 3rd or 4th time he is either quoting her or referring to something she said to him - it’s as if he accepted her words as the ultimate truths of life he abided by - and you can see that it has turned into a habit by now; that Hae Soo has slowly but surely become an integral and indispensable part of his life.
I love the moments between WS and Baek Ah as well~ They get along so well and I love their bromance! I know you said that Baek Ah becomes WS biggest supporter and best friend, is this really true? I hope nothing happens to Baek Ah or WS does something to him because I love their moments together.. Does anybody know if WS does something bad to Baek Ah or do they become closer as the series moves on?

The song that plays when HS is doing WS makeup in the re-edit version that was ended it out of Dramafever and other sites, is that OST sung Epik High? Omg if it is, Epik high never fails to disappoint.. I absolutely am in love with that song already and definitely going to get it~

I know so many people posted the re-edited scene from today's episode so I won't post another link about that but.... HOLY!!!!! That scene...............just got me to the heart. No words needed for that scene. I was fangirling like crazy throughout the whole scene... I wish they kept it in the Dramafever version! So worth having it in there~
Oh man, today's episode... HS imagining WS becoming an evil king with that flash of red....omg... I just hope that WS doesn't become the kind of king that HS is imagining. Please someone tell me this isn't true.. But the good thing about today's episode is that we got way more WS and HS moments and I hope there are many more moments to come.... I am wondering if that poison scene is going to happen at tomorrow's episode or next week? But i'm very pumped about the plot line and to see how WS becomes king~ I know that gwangjong wasn't the king right after Taejo so does that mean that in our story WS doesn't become king imediately? Also I would think that Yo would kill everyone not WS. Honestly, I don't know what to expect from the drama. But excited for episode 9!! Especially for that kiss scene~~ Omo!~~

I am quite confused about these different versions.. I've heard that the live broadcast of Scarlet Heart and the video on Dramafever or Dramafire are different? How come there are different versions for Scarlet Heart? I always thought that Dramafever uses SBS version since they are affiliated with them or in some way. Does anyone know why there are different versions and some scenes are in one version while in the other version it's not? I know that Scarlet Heart is airing in China at the same time so I'm sure the edits for that version is different.....

I know that we have to pass this WW-HS love line and I don't mind it, they do look cute together, they don't make my heart flutter nor make me crazy enough to re-watch their scenes as I do with WS-HS but still I don't mind it, KHN is an amazing actor and IU has great chemistry with both of them but still a heart wants what it wants and my heart screams for more WS-HS, we just have to be more patient I guess.
Anyways, today's episode was pretty decent, I liked it, thank you all for recapping and sharing. I don't know how will I wait for one more week, lol.

I 100% agree with this post! I really hope that WS doesn't just become and extra to HS after being broken hearted with WW or something.. I hope that HS really has time to realize WS charms and really fall deeply in love with him as well. The drama already hints that WS has feelings for HS already (I mean his smile when he sees her or thinks about he ^^)~ As of right now, it's such a one-side love and we can see that HS likes WW a lot. Next week's episode doesn't seem to get any better for the love triangle since we saw them cuddling in the preview. Also the scene I've been waiting for between HS and WS is finally coming next week!!
Seriously, I'm getting major first lead syndrome right now and I didn't know you can get this.... I am dying for the moment that HS falls in love with WS...

Silent reader of this thread and finally decided to join into the discussion ^^ So far i'm loving this drama and love the plotline. I absolutely cannot wait until Hae Soo and the 4th prince begin their romance
One thing I noticed though, while reading this thread, is that apparently Wang Soo is going to kill all of his brothers to get the throne...? Is this true? ;-; I currently love WS (and can't wait for the romance to bloom) but I would be kinda disappointed with him killing his brothers for the throne.. Do you guys think the writers would go for that plot? I was thinking that Wang Yo would be the one to kill the brothers since he's the one that desires the throne..? In the Chinese version, how does it end up?
Also in Korean history, I know WS becomes the King and ends up marrying the princess.. If that happens, what happens to HS? Do you think this drama will make a twist and have WS and HS end up together in the end? (I don't want to see this drama end like Six Flying Dragons..)
But anyways, I am getting major First lead syndrome (Can't believe this would actually happen...)! I think WW and HS moments are adorable but I ship WS and HS ^^ (As people said, scar couple~) I saw that this is how it was in the Chinese version too and there will be HS x WS moments later on but I'm just dying for it to happen already!! I saw the 6 minute preview and I love seeing their moments~
Above all, can't wait for the next episode and see what will happen~

Omg, just wow.. Wow at episode three. I love how the romance in this drama is going so fast
holy moly, the ratings are crazy right now!! 23% for episode 3.. Wow just wow! People in Korea are LOVING this drama! I mean who wouldn't.. It's song Jong Ki and song Hye kyo~ can we just mention how handsome and hot Song Jong Ki is in this episode? Especially at the end.... I am loving the storyline so far and we can see that the romance in this drama is going to be unbelievably amazing... I am really interested in the Seo Dae Young and Yoon Myeong Joo arc now.. I wonder how the romance is all going to play out and how their relationship will work out!! So interested...
Also we see here is going to be a greater enemy for Yoo Shi Jin and Kang Mo Yeon to face... that weapon dealer group is going to be a big problem for Yoo Shi Jin in the future, especially since they are corrupted as well... I love how there were action moments in this episode and it wasn't all a romance fluff episode! Man, I really really am hoping that Kang Mo Yeon can save the patient. Chaebal.... We don't want to see a huge war break out because of the death of the president! Also in the preview YSJ is going to be dismissed since he didn't follow the order... I wonder how that'll all work out.. I love that YSJ decided not to listen to the command, not only because he didn't want the blame to be on the Doctor but also to save the patient! I am thinking/hoping one of the reasons why he decided to go again the command is because he couldn't let the president just die...
overall this episode is awesome and I cannot wait till the next episode!! Thank goodness this isn't a Thursday episode cliffhanger.. Or else we would have to wait a whole week!

Also, Daebakk!!! Davichi singing for an OST for DOTS!!!! That is so awesome~~ This OST singer line up for this drama is so good and I love the OSTs already!!!!!

Just one word.... AMAZING.... Wow, wow, wow!!! Descendants of Sun has completely stolen my heart for these past two episodes... Man first of all seeing Song Joong Ki in this drama.. So freaken sexy and handsome!!! and Song Hye Kyo is so beautiful as well!! These past two episodes were soooo good and cringe worthy! Especially at Kang Mo Yeon and Yoo Shi Jin romance! Haha, that escalated so fast!! The minute they met each other, they were so attracted to each other. I love love the storyline so far and love how in episode 2 they were reunited in Greece! I just knew there was going to be some kind of time jump.. Where they would be reunited again~~ Kyahhh all these romance scences are making me squeal and fangirl like crazyy! I really cannot wait for their future romance scenes! Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki just have such an amazing chemistry together and when they are together on screen, the whole world just falls apart..
Also omg, Song Joong Ki is SOOO COOL in this drama man... All those action and fighting scenes, so amazing! Song Joong Ki is so handsome in this drama <3 it reminded me of how much I love Song Joong Ki as an actor~ DOTS is definitely a high anticipated show and they did not disappoint any expectations for these past two episodes! The storyline is flowing really smoothly and going fast as well! I can't wait to see what happens in the future! And those transition scenes in the beginning of episode 2 when KMY and YSJ were doing their jobs... That was awesome! I really felt like crying when KMY got rejected for the 3rd time as a professor because the people with more power ended up getting the position.. It reminded me of what people who have wealth and power can do (kind of reminded me of Remember) but it was nice to see how she became a doctor star after the first broadcasting! Now that she has been sent off to Greece, she is reunited with Yoo Shi Jin... Can't wait to see what happens.. I just know there is going to be alot of action and suspense in the future episodes.
I have officially dug myself in another hole that I cannot escape.. This drama has completely stole my heart and now I have to wait for the episodes every week! T.T But I know that this journey will be worth it

im new to the DOTS forums! I've been so excited for this drama ever since they announced Song Joong Ki would be in it
so excited for this drama especially because it's Song Joong Ki's comeback drama after his military service! I've watched his previous drama innocent man and his movie, The Werewolf Boy! I just finished the drama, Remember - War of the Son (very good melodrama btw!) with Yoo Seung Ho (who also got released from the military last year). I don't know if I can handle waiting for every episode each week though.. But nevertheless, I am super excited for this drama to come out! The teasers make me so excited for the drama!!
About SOng Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's character.. Did they know each other in the past or something? I saw some people post that they might of have or something...

Omomomo, can we also talk about Yoo Jeong and Bo Gum's acting in this episode? They are so good at expressing how the characters feel (I mean they were always doing a great job) You can just see the hurt look on LY's face when he grabs her, that desperate look he has to not let him go but to stay with him... and the expression RO has, she sees his hurt look and hesitates for a moment but knows she has to let him go..... -insert fangirl scream here- These two really know how to convey the emotions through their eyes... Holy.......
I mentioned already when LY was getting dressed up, the emotionless and lifeless face he has... And when LY saw RO for the second time and the happiness he had on his face to see her but RO acted cold towards LY and immediately his expression changed..... Then when he cut off the bracelet and RO's startled face and she was drawn back... Park Bo Gum, Gahhhh... Can you make me love you anymore?
