Actor Kim Soo Hyun will be making a guest appearance on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘.

On June 25th, a broadcasting representative spoke with TV Report and stated, “Kim Soo Hyun is currently filming for ‘Running Man‘”.

Furthermore, a photo recently surfaced on an online community board titled, “Kim Soo Hyun will be a guest on ‘Running Man’. [Kim Soo Hyun] was running around wearing a cap during the filming in the Nanji camping grounds so I couldn’t take a picture of him, so here’s Kim Jong Kook“.

Kim Soo Hyun has starred in popular works such as ‘Dream High‘ and ‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun‘, therefore many fans are anticiapting his variety skills on ‘Running Man’.

In related news, Kim Soo Hyun will be appearing on the big screen with his film, ‘The Thieves‘, which is set to premiere in July.

‘The Thieves’ Leads Get Their Own Character Posters!

With the grand premiere is getting closer, the upcoming blockbuster movie ‘The Thieves’ has released five character posters, introducing the star-studded cast of the movie Lee Jung Jae, Kim Yoon Suk, Kim Hye Soo, Jeon Ji Hyun, and the latest one with Kim Soo Hyun.

The movie revolves around a group of Korean and Hong Kong thieves that get together to steal a priceless diamond called ‘Tear of the Sun’ stored securely in a Macau casino… but they all have their own plans for keeping the diamond to themselves.

The other cast members are Kim Hae Suk, Oh Dal Su, Simon Yam, Angelica Lee, and Kwon Cheung Tsang. I think we can also see their poster characters in the near future.

Hi willenette, after the running man shooting started yesterday, all the pic. were uploaded by the dc gall fans.  but i could not see him in any of them.  in fact the gall fans badly wanted to figure out KSH.  We have to wait until we get the pics.  
so, the countdown has been started by the dc gall fans for July 25th release for THIEVES.  MORE 29 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!

Kim Soo Hyun Will Not be Returning to the Small Screen in 2012

Drama producers have been left smacking their lips in disappointment as Kim Soo Hyun recently stated that he would be concentrating on the big screen for the remainder of the year.

Kim Soo Hyun became an attractive casting option after he made it big with his role in MBC’s The Sun and the Moon, and has also been rising in rank as a hallyu star.

Male actors in their mid-20s are especially becoming hard to come by, making the drama industry all the more bent on getting Kim Soo Hyun on cast.



One drama official said, “Because new stars such as Lee Je Hoon or Lee Jong Hyuk have been announcing their enlistment, male actors in their mid, late-20s have become rare. Kim Soo Hyun is the biggest star of them all, but we’re sorry that he’s said he doesn’t plan to appear in any dramas in the latter half of the year.”

A rep from Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Key East Entertainment confirmed the plans, stating, “From fall to November, [Kim Soo Hyun] needs to concentrate on his film Be Covert, Be Great. From July to August he’ll have schedules related to the London Olympics, commercial shoots and promotions for his film The Thieves, so he has to get through that hard core schedule. His year is already packed with plans.”

Fans will at least be able to catch Kim Soo Hyun on TV through a variety show. The actor will be appearing as a guest on SBS’ Running Man.

On June 25, he appeared at Nanji Camp for the show. Many sightings made their way onto the web, and an official from Running Man let it slip that he would indeed be making an appearance.

Kim Soo Hyun will be appearing in Running Man to promote The Thieves, marking his first variety appearance in four years. The Thieves will premiere on July 25.
