I don't see the library update.

From what I see there's only

Menu Style, Sound, Display, Language, Time, System.

That is very strange. It's between Display and Language. Which firmware do you have? Go to Systems then About to find out which version you have.

Best Buy had a sale for the P2 all week this week and it's ending tomorrow! $179.99 including a free Insignia Bluetooth speaker, worth $79.99!

lols, i don't really care about the case because i can just buy a sock..xD~

and...Insignia speaker? oO" what model is it?

What memory size was it?

Gmarket. when will bestbuy or futureshop get the official samsung p2 crystal cases...?! T__T

my P2 is getting kinda scratched on the back...

on this website they said the p2 was good and stuff, it's just the samsung studio manager that's crap? Most, if not all the user reviews had put 'samsung studio manager' under CONS. is it really that bad? O_O

^ I use it and I really like it.

It's my main music player (for the computer) now too since all of my music is already uploaded in it.

But, I just use it because I'm lazy to use the other programs people recommend lol.

Honestly though, I don't think it's TOO bad.

It's just kind of slow when transferring music and converting videos.

Other than that, I guess it just depends on people's patience and preference.

You don't even need to use the player, but it's because of pictures and videos. You can use other softwares for music. There are good guides out there that doesn't use SMS. It shouldn't really be a con seeing that it's not the mp3 player, but whatever.

1. Which of the covers would you guys recommend? The silicon or clear crystal one?

(I was thinking about the silicon one because it looks like there's more grip

but I'm not sure.)

2. Can you transfer avi files to the mp3? Cause somehow I can't. Help.

1) Let's see.. I had the silicon case for my T9 before I lost it and I have the crystal case for my P2 now. Both are pretty much the same, though since the crystal case is made of a much tougher material than the silicon, I'd go for it. In terms of function, it'd be easier to get to the buttons with the silicon case than the crystal case because the buttons are more prominent and not and encased [can't think of a better word].

2) Are you using the program to transfer the files?

I have the 8GB one and I like it so far. good sound quality, it's touch screen cheaper than iPod touch, i like the earphones cause they're so comfortable to use , there's FM recording, you get to play games and one last thing--> you can change your personal wallpaper.

hello, i REALLY want to buy the P2, and i was just about to buy it two days ago but...

i don't want it to get damaged (coz it looks so damn sexy ;]) so i didn't buy it yet..

and i was wondering if a mere screen protector would be enough to protect it?

but i would much prefer a crystal case..

i live in Melb, Australia and i'd rather not purchase online, so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy a case for the p2 at a shop (in melbourne, obviously), or if there is any kind of screen protector that is suggested (if there are any different types)

i was also wondering if the music can be put on shuffle mode

any advice is greatly appreciated :]
