I don't get any errors or things like that. I try to play it, but no sound comes out.

Unfortunately, I don't have a pair of headphones but I don't think it will work since sometimes it just has sound for a few seconds but silences again.

Maybe I broke something? I don't see how though. :\

I used to have a pair of old speakers that were bad the sound sometimes work and sometimes it doesnt. You can plug in regular computer speakers or speakers that has a 3.5mm plug "ear bud headphone style plugs"

Your sound drivers can be found on your laptop manufactuer download page, or the laptop model page. You can ask your laptop manufactuer to mail you the drivers, if you can't find them yourself.

Maybe your laptop came with a cd with sound driver for reinstalling drivers.

If your sound device is broken in your laptop you can always buy a USB soundcard. But, you need to also buy a pair of speakers for it cuz the speakers on your laptop are connected to your laptops sound device.

maybe your Directx install is messed up.
