I share the same bitter sentiments! EOE would not have been the same if not for Kim Bum! I'm soooo frustrated with his non-nomination that I didn't even realize that YJH was not in the list... I'm feeling bad for our demon-child... I think he's quite at par with SSH's performance... If they're going to give SSH such recognition, it is just right that they also give YJH some nomination even if it's lower than that of SSH's...

Honestly, IMO, I think there are far better actors which out performed SSH in the acting department... SSH is nominated more due to his immense popularity and sort of MBC giving tribute to what he has chunked in for them. Though, he gave vast improvement... KMM and CJS gave more intense performances.

I think if MBC knows politics well... they should give a lot of the awards to CJS... posthumous but also because she gave a good performance, it also takes out the tension that could amount to on who they will choose for the Daesang.

I read some of the comments regarding Ep 33 before I went to sleep last night, and it's the first time I DID NOT feel disappointed with LDH/HR out of the picture for once. (weird huh?) I'm relieved the drama has taken a step forward and finally gave MH his time to shine. I bet Ep 33 will be a emotionally riveting episode.. can't wait to watch it with subs!

And goodness, I forgot about Kim Bum!! I concur with you guys, that he should have been up there in the Best New Actor category! And Park Hae Jin should have been in Excellence.. the only reason I could think of is that Park Hae Jin has never played a lead or prominent character in any MBC dramas before, hence the nomination in this category? I don't know.. I'm still pretty irked that Lee Sung Jae, Lee Dong Wook, Oh Yeon Soo and Yoon Kye Sang did not get into Excellence.. I mean, I know they just can't squeeze everybody into the nominees list.. but it just doesn't do their performances justice, they were so good in their respective dramas.

About Da Hae getting into Excellence, don't you guys think it's just a miracle? Even most of us, her fans, didn't expect that she would be nominated for her role HR in EOE. Guess it's kinda warranted given that Netizen reviews were overwhelming for her good performance in the drama... I hope she's okay and IS reassured by this recognition (after her somewhat depressing message a few days ago)..

About this ... I am thinking that they pick the most successful dramas of the year with main lead for Daesang. It happened that DC is the biggest role in EOE the biggest drama and maybe most successful drama in the year. Well, what do you have to complain more ?

Now I read a little bit more and I think SSh still has the chance, because KMM may be up for Daesang.

She hasn't been nominated in popularity in a while since like... I dunno My Girl? Right? Not sure.

Anyway, so it was her. Was she bored? That was a weekend and all. I really hope she isn't too hard on herself, she seems a bit hard on herself based on that message. She always seems in a more gloomy mood especially in the Holidays (for people wondering, she has been kinda living on her own since her family is in Australia, her mom used to be with her but as Da hae got older, she is more by herself now, her family is based in Australia). I remember her street relay interview saying it was hard being alone since she was close to her family. Aw. sniff.

Yeah all her dramas are around the Holidays. Last Christmas she greeted her fans on the set of Robbers, in the New Year's she was busy doing award shows. When was the last time she even had a good Holiday with her family?

Hi all,

yesterday morning was my first week that I got to watch EOE live. Well, yesterday ep. contained the birth revelation and all. No HR.

this morning's ep did better, but not by much... spoiler below.

missed the first 10 minutes or so.....HR and DC talking in car- about rebecca's accident? (no idea?)....then HR and DC goes to the casino...sees YR working as dealer...talked....HR gave DC a pot of flowers (for his office)...YR observes all of this....YR had a short conversation with HR. HR left....YR looks at DC carrying the pot of flowers...DC looks back....that all the HR parts that I saw. No HR in preview. I don't understand korean...so I am just guessing.

I know that the birth revelation is important...but I am steaming mad...not much HR/ DC interaction...how are they gonna fall in love with only 16 episodes left?????? Well, lets hope the writers are not playing games with our minds again.

I’m not sure if I missed something at the start… Forgive me if I have some assumptions which are way off the mark, I'm super dooper behind with the subbed episodes... Anyway here it goes… some quick summary:

MH-JH: MH entered JH’s office just as she was talking to someone in the phone. She was talking in a very demanding voice… When she put the phone down she realized that MH was there… MH grabbed her into a hug… He said some stuff to her which seemed to upset her and got her all worked up… She receives a phone call… put it down and talked to MH still upset borderline angry at him…

DC-HR: Hr took their dog out for a walk… DC arrived they talked for a while and HR accompanied him inside their house… DC entered the room with HR… HR’s parents and Rebecca is there in the room… Now I’m not entirely sure if they’re at Rebecca’s residence or the Min’s… Anyway, the Mins inc. HR left the room… DC gave Rebecca something… HR prepared the table for lunch… DC, Rebecca and the MIns are to eat together… HR’s parents still seem to be teasing them with each other… HR is with that sparkling oh-I’m-too-happy mood again…

STH-MH: STH is again talking in the phone with his rude angry voice (de ja vu?! He’s like that in every episode s you know what I mean right)… STH-MH are still arguing…

DC-HR: DC is driving her… HR has flowers in her lap… They’re carrying their usual friendly conversation… I’m not sure but I don’t think their talking business now… I’m guessing HR started opening up to him… I guess she’s earning his interest now… after she told him some stuff he gave her that “stare” again… then YR-DC’s (if I’m not mistaken) theme song plays in the background… They enter the casino together and YR saw them together… She took it well this time… She greeted HR warmly this time not like the last time… DC excused himself… HR and YR carried a short friendly conversation… When HR left, we see DC looking YR by the side of his eyes (acting like a cheating husband again) and just as he walks away YR looks at him…

DC-Toad: Toad is teasing him as he enters his office… they talked for a bit…

Janice-Mike: Janice was talking to someone (in English) and was ordering them to deliver her some information about Mike’s whereabouts… HR entered her office… They talked about something or a bit then off to the next scene…

DC-Ahjusshi: DC received a call… seemed like something serious and something they’ve been waiting for… DC had a poker face seriousness when he ended the call… Ahjusshi was excited to know what it’s about then they both rejoiced over something that DC was able to be successful at… (acquisition of Taesung??? Wild guess)

DC-DW: DC called DW to inform him of this good news…

DC-Gook: Gook is not his usual I’m-happy-for-you-DC self… This conversation was quite tense… YR is overhearing them talk… and I can see that she’s worried since it’s written all over her face… Their talk ended in peace… YR entered after DC left… YR was saying stuff about DC to his dad… Gook is still not his happy self…

MH-Lees: THIS IS INTERESTING! MAJOR TOUCHING SCENE!!! MH sneaked as he watched outside his real mother’s (aka CH) office through the glass door… He remembered the scene when they ransacked the Lee’s house during the demolition fiasco… He’s tearing up… DW enters the resto (it’s the resto not office)… DW and CH talked in a motherly tone… MH watches with longing… MH walks away in tears… (gosh I wanna cry my eyes out! MH is my fave character after HR now hahahaha!!!)

MH: flashback of Rebecca’s words as he drives…

MH-STH was having an interesting conversation in the car but I was not able to follow it closely as I had to send my sister and her daughter as they were going home… I completely missed the scene…

MH-STH: MH picked him up… They talked I missed this part… went to a secret place… a man entered the car bringing a brie case… he showed it to STH… MH looks at the rear mirror as the case was loaded into some car?? STH is talking to MH in his angsty triumphant voice… MH is indignant…

DW: received a call… work related? He’s not happy about it and took it in a serious mood…

DC-Lee: DC arrived home… He goes into his mother’s room… I think they were talking about DW… CH is probably worried about her favorite son and DC tells her not to worry (not sure about this! Hahaha)

MH: walks to their house with a heavy feet and an even heavier heart… his mother greeted him by the door… She told him some stuff… just as she was about to return to her room, MH grabbed her hands… She asks what’s the matter… She talks to her little baby some more… MH is touched… MH hugged her while he teared up… His mother asked him why he’s crying… awwwwwwwww I’m loving MH-mother (real or fake mother) scenes… PHJ is still uh-mey-zing!!! I just wanna run to him to comfort him… anyway they continued their motherly talk… when his mother turned to her back MH gave her a “goong” hug… MH enters TH’s room while his son is sleeping… He totally lost it and broke down in tears… T_T…

DC-DW-CH: our lovers brothers are having their before sleep bonding ritual, while CH overhears them from the other room… They’re in this tease-y happy conversation then DC turned serious… DW asks him what’s the matter… Their conversation turned serious…

JH-MH: MH fell asleep at TH’s room… JH saw him and was about to loosen up his tie… MH got paranoid and woke up… JH told him it’s just her… JH was in an apologetic tone… probably regarding their disagreement earlier… anyway they hugged and made up…

Shins: They were having breakfast together… STH was aking MH something… MH responded… STH is not happy… He got worked up and raised his voice to MH… STH is still angry and MH does not intend to stop,.. He carried on talking back to his father which got him all fired up… STH is half-angry and half-shocked with MH newly found courage… MH walked away… STH continued babbling and his wife is trying to shut him up… MH wore his coat and a white envelope fell from his pocket… (? I didn’t see the scene too well)

DC: stopped by a building/office… A man entered his car… gave him some documents he read it…

Rebecca: She received a call. Probably someone giving her some feedback… She put the p[hone down with a triumphant look in her eyes…

JH-MH-Pres Oh: MH entered the hotel’s elevator… JH saw him and tried to cath up with him… She wasn’t able to… MH talked to his grandpa… Pres Oh is really shocked at what MH was trying to tell him…

MH: opened some file while he was hearing his father’s voice in his mind… Received a call from JH… JH is probably worried over what he’s up to... They put the phone down… MH sported a indignant look juat as the background music got all tension-filled… He went to the casino and waited by a table,,,

Preview: MH looked at DC-DW’s photos in DC’s office… MH had Pres Oh sign something… MH visited the priest and was all emo outside the church when DC saw him… YR was crying in the car… MH was talking to DC… JH found the enveloped letter that fell from MH’s coat… It’s the DNA result… She learned that MH is not STH’s son.,..

Oh yea the YR-DC themesong was played when DC stared at HR? The first time Red Bean was ever played was when young DC (Kim Bum) recalled his father and when he said goodbye to DW. It seems more of a DC-centered song.
